• Attach a div to Dojo DataGrid horizontal scroll

  I have a fixed width datagrid being built programatically, and am trying to put a header over top of it that will scroll with it. I can't do it as part of the grid as that destroys the fixed width of the cells. I would like to be able to scroll the top div as the scrollbar for the DataGrid scrolls. This seems how the header works already, so it should be possible. I just can't figure out how to link/attach it.

• IE8 isn't resizing tbody or thead when a column is hidden in a table with table-layout:fixed

  IE 8 is doing something very strange when I hide a column in a table with table-layout:fixed. The column is hidden, the table element stays the same width, but the tbody and thead elements are not resized to fill the remaining width. It works in IE7 mode (and FF, Chrome, etc. of course). Has anyone seen this before or know of a workaround? • Delphi7 - How can i copy a file that is being written to

  I have an application that logs information to a daily text file every second on a master PC. A Slave PC on the network using the same application would like to copy this text file to its local drive. I can see there is going to be file access issues. These files should be no larger than 30-40MB each. the network will be 100MB ethernet. I can see there is potential for the copying process to take longer than 1 second meaning the logging PC will need to open the file for writing while it is being read. What is the best method for the file writing(logging) and file copying procedures? I know there is the standard Windows CopyFile() procedure, however this has given me file access problems. There is also TFileStream using the fmShareDenyNone flag, but this also very occasionally gives me an access problem too (like 1 per week). What is this the best way of accomplishing this task? • custom cell based on row index iphone

  I'm wondering if it is possible to add cell content to a uitableview based on the row index? For example if it is the first cell (row 0) I want to add an image and text. If it is the second row I would like to add a button. For all other rows I would like to just add a line of text. I tried using indexPath.row. • How to keep group-writeable shares on Samba with OSX clients?

  I have a FreeNAS server on a network with OSX and Windows clients. When the OSX clients interact with SMB/CIFS shares on the server, they are causing permission problems for all other clients. Update: I can no longer verify any answers because we abandoned the project, but feel free to post any help for future visitors. The details of this behavior seem to also be dependent on the version of OSX the client is running. For this question, let's assume a client running 10.8.2. When I mount the CIFS share on an OSX client and create a new directory on it, the directory will be created with drwxr-x-rx permissions. This is undesirable because it will not allow anyone but me to write to the directory. There are other users in my group which should have write permissions as well. This behavior happens even though the following settings are present in smb.conf on the server: [global] create mask= 0666 directory mask= 0777 [share] force directory mode= 0775 force create mode= 0660 I was under the impression that these settings should make sure that directories are at least created with rwxrwxr-x permissions. But, I guess, that doesn't stop the client from changing the permissions after creating the directory. When I create a folder on the same share from a Windows client, the new folder will have the desired access permissions (rwxrwxrwx), so I'm currently assuming that the problem lies with the OSX client. I guess this wouldn't be such an issue if you could easily change the permissions of the directories you've created, but you can't. When opening the directory info in Finder, I get the old "You have custom access" notice with no ability to make any changes. I'm assuming that this is caused because we're using Windows ACLs on the share, but that's just a wild guess. Changing the write permissions for the group through the terminal works fine, but this is unpractical for the deployment and unreasonable to expect from anyone to do. • TCPDF Auto Page Break Not Working if Widths set

  I have a very specific 2 column layout I'm trying to set up for a client using TCPDF. AutoPageBreak works fine if you're sending text to a page with writeHTML and multiCell at the default width of the page.   So, I want to resize images to a FIXED width, but proportional height. I have been trying a wide range of operators: 380x242# 380x242 380!x242 380x242< none of them have the desired effect. Any help? I want it to fill or resize to the 380 width, then resize / shrink the height by the same factor it used to shrink or resize the image to 380 wide.

  I have an app that allows a user to create new projects, and the search for them later. One of the options they have when creating a project is giving them start and end dates. At the moment all the code works properly for creating and searching on the dates, but I am now wanting to restrict what dates the user can enter. I am needing for an error to flag up when the user tries to enter an end date that is before the start date. It's really more for when the user is creating the project. • keyboard hiding my textview

  hi guys i have a simple app, it consist of 2 textview, 1 uiview as a coretext subclass, and then 1 scrollview. the others part is subviews from scrollview. I use this scrollview because i need to scroll the textviews and uiview at the same time. I already scroll all of them together, but the problem is, the keyboard hiding some lines in the textview. I have to change the frame of scrollview when keyboard appear, but it still not help.
