    Is there any way to export a Microsoft SQL Server database to an sql script? I'm looking for something which behaves similarly to mysqldump, taking a database name, and producing a single script which will recreate all the tables, stored procedures, reinsert all the data etc. I've seen http://vyaskn.tripod.com/code.htm#inserts, but I ideally want something to recreate everything (not just the data) which works in a single step to produce the final script.

I would need to be remotely connect to this database, and perform what would equate to SQL queries with very modest needs (no join, no complex filtering).     We're using Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007 with NON-EXHCANGE mailboxes, stored in PST files. Is there a way to quickly add a large number of senders from the inbox to the users contact list? I was thinking to export all the senders from the inbox in the PST file to a list and then so use scripting to add them all to the contact list, or perhaps arrange in CSV and import. Any advice is highly appreciated.

  • Calling a WCF service from another WCF service

    Hi ! I have a WCF service hosted on a windows service on my Server1. It also has IIS on this machine. I call the service from a web app and it works fine. But within this service, I have to call another WCF sevice (also hosted on a windows service) located on Server2. The security credentials are set to "Message" and "Username". I have an error like "SOAP protcol negociation failed". It's a problem with my server certificate public key that doesn't seem to be recognise. However, if I call the service on the Server2 from Server1 in a console app, it works fine.     Hi, I am trying to reference microsoft reporting v.10.0.0.0 in my vs studio web site. For some reason it can't achieve that as it is always giving me a compile error that it could not load the type. Error 2625 Could not load type 'Microsoft.Reporting.RdlBuildProvider' from assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' One thing that I think it might be a cause is that I had moved from 9.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.0 and after that it does not work.     Hi There, I'm working with a WCF service in Azure, which uses Windows Live ID authentication with the recent deviceid requirements. When I host my WCF service locally in the compute emulator, it works properly, but when I deploy the cloud service to Azure and call it the same way (from another project that uses the WCF service as a service reference), I get the error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.IdentityModel, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. I found this post : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/netservices/thread/cd139b5c-ad12-4298-af2f-1b2d0136a977 But there are a few problems: 1. I don't seem to have access to Microsoft.IdentityModel, only System.IdentityModel. I'm not sure why it's searching for something in 3.5 at all, as I'm building in .NET 4.0. 2. When I choose to "copy to local" on System.IdentityModel, it doesn't change anything. Any help? I would appreciate it! Best Regards, Andy

I have used "Microsoft.Biztalk.explorerom.dll (C:/Program Files/Biztalk Server 2006/Developer tool) " to achieve this. This is working fine on development machine since biz talk server is installed on local machine. But in the production environment (asp.net web server ,windows 2003 and iis 6.0)...this give System.nullreferenceexception (object reference not set..) at BtsCatalogExplorer explorer = (BtsCatalogExplorer)myGroup.CreateInstance(typeof(BtsCatalogExplorer)) my biztalk server and sql server are on two different box. In my setup (asp.net web application)..adding Microsoft.Biztalk.explorerom.dll and Microsoft.Biztalk.Applicationdeployment.engine.dll to GAC. But still no luck. Do i need to install biz talk server on my local machine even though I am connecting to different biz talk server?? And help is appreciated...

    I've searched this as much as I can in the time available, but haven't turned anything up. Does anyone know if it is possible to access data backed up from a WinMo device to Microsoft's MyPhone service programatically, without having to restore all the data back to the device? I'm looking at a way of also keeping a local backup of contacts and SMS messages on my desktop machine, but it seems that if there is an API for doing so, Microsoft haven't advertised it at all. I'm hoping that my inability to find any reference on Google is due to my incompetence rather than it not being supported by Microsoft.

With medium trust godaddy does not give persmissions to certain files. If I delete the "Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.dll" and "Microsoft.Practices.ObjectBuilder.xml", the pages load. But when I try to save the form, I get some error related to this dll. So I need to find an alternative for this dll. I cannot use this DLL. my save, delete, select process is depend on this dll plz provide any solution if u have. thanks in advance

    Hello, I am looking for a Live Video Streaming solution, The clients will be able to watch the video with a plugin (Flash or Silverlight), or a Standalone application (Windows Media Player, FLV, etc). But I can't choose between Microsoft Solution (Windows Media Server (MMS, RTSP) + Silverlight as client) or the Adobe solution (Flash Media Server (RTMP) + Flash/Flex). The streaming is for short duration cast and will not be online 24/24h. I tried both, and I found the cheaper version of FMS don't provide security to prevent users to register as published (You have to write custom module...), the Windows Media Server provide this function. We already have Windows Server licences. (So Windows Media Server will be "Free") What do you recommend ? What is the best between Flash or Silverlight for Live Video Streaming ? Thank you !

In the firewall section it states that ipfw has a default allow rule: 65535 allow ip from any to any And if you enable the firewalls 'stealth mode' via the settings the following rule should be added: 33300 deny icmp from any to me in icmptypes 8 The funny thing is: I have stealth enabled and I do not see this rule when doing sudo ipfw print Any idea where stealth mode is enforced if not in the ipfw ruleset?
