• How do I allow an email discussion list in MOSS to collect messages from any email sender

  I have a Sharepoint discussion list that belongs to an Exchange list with the idea that it will be able to archive discussions on that list and make them generally accessible, searcheable and so on. The problem is that although I have checked the "Accept e-mail messages from any sender" option on the discussion board, it still appears to only be seeing emails from members of the domain, nothing sent to the list from outside gets picked up by the Sharepoint site. Any suggestions as to what else I have to do?

• Polishing an user interface

  Looking for examples of some "final touches" to enhance an existing (raw) user interface. I.e nothing related to the core functionalities of the application, but rather examples of all these little details which give an application a "polished" look (new fonts, change in layout, more descriptive labels...others ?) The target platform will be a mobile platform (android/iphone). Note that I'm severly graphically impaired regarding colour and shape combinations, so anything too sophisticated will probably pass me by completely ;)

• Elf: Dump symbol value in BSS, DATA or RODATA?

  I have a ELF shared object with a symbol initialized to a value. I want to know what the value of a symbol is. I know objdump -T will give me the symbol's address and length but I need the value: $ arm-linux-androideabi-objdump -T libcrypto.so.1.0.0 | grep -i FIPS_signature 001a9668 g DO .bss 00000014 FIPS_signature However, hexdump knows nothing about ELF sections, offsets and virtual addresses, so I can't use the information: $ hexdump -v -x -n 0x14 -s 0x001a9668 libcrypto.so.1.0.0 $ How do I dump the value of the symbol?   I want to ignore all files in my repository except those that occur in the 'bin' subdirectory. I tried adding the following to my .gitignore * !bin/* This does not have the desired effect, however: I created a new file inside of bin/, but doing 'git status' still "shows nothing to commit (working directory clean)" Any suggestions? I have been wondering however where UITableViewController finds out about its delegate and dataSource. • Dojo datagrid won't display inside another div

  Hi, Trying to get a Dojo datagrid working - have duplicated the first example on the documentation page (http://docs.dojocampus.org/dojox/grid/DataGrid) & it works just fine. However, when I try to display the grid inside another div (i.e. putting 'gridContainer4' from the example inside any other div) nothing displays... Any help much appreciated - can't find anything about this anywhere online!

• cygwin: svn does not work anymore

  All of the sudden svn stopped working in cygwin installation on windows xp. when I execute svn binary, nothing happens, svn process does not even show up in the Task Manager. I've reinstalled svn but it did not help (the last resort would be to uninstall cygwin itself). • Flash Builder 4 is suggesting mx1 instead of mx! why?

• Best Practice: User generated HTML cleaning

  I'm coding a WYSIWYG editor width designMode="on" on a iframe. The editor works fine and i store the code as is in the database. Before outputing the html i need to "clean" with php on the server-side to avoid cross-site-scripting and other scary things. Is there some sort of best practice on how to do this?
