    Hi, I would like ask if there's a way to download an android layout from the Internet into the "res/layout" folder. I was thinking in getting the file using an HttpUrlConnection and a FileOutputStream, like discussed in here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/576513/android-download-binary-file-problems but I can't fgure out how to put it into the "res/layout" folder.     i'm trying to install the adobe air sdk in linux. i unzip the package downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/air/tools/sdk/ into a folder "AdobeAIRSDK", and add the /bin folder into the PATH environment variable. but when i tried to run the adl, it gives me the following error: Error loading the runtime (/home/monuser/AdobeAIRSDK/bin/../runtimes/air/linux/Adobe AIR/Versions/1.0/Resources/nss3/None/libnss3.so: file too short) what's the problem here and how do i get it fixed?

    I'm using SharpZipLib to create a zip file with an html page and images. If the html file has a / in the name, it creates a folder (which messes up the image paths). Example: If the html file should be named Web/Design.html the zip file will contain a Web folder with a Design.html file in it. I've tried escaping / by replacing / with // or \/ but nothing has worked so far.

  • C# Putting the required DLLs somewhere other than the root of the output

    I am using EmguCV for a project and when our program runs it needs some dlls like "cxcore.dll" etc. (or it throws runtime exceptions). At the moment, I put the files in the root of the output folder (selected "Copy Always" in the file's properties in Visual Studio). However it looks a bit messy, to have about 10 different dlls just there. Is there someway where I can move it to a subfolder in the output folder and it'll still find it.

Using the .gitignore file in the root of the project I need to ignore all .dll files that reside within a bin/ folder anywhere in the project tree.     Namely I have: Environment.SpecialFolder.ApplicationData Environment.SpecialFolder.CommonApplicationData Environment.SpecialFolder.LocalApplicationData I am unclear as to were these point to in Windows XP and/or Windows Vista. What I found so far is that the ApplicationData points to the ApplicationData Folder for the current user in XP and the roaming application data folder in Vista. I would also like to know if there are general guidelines on when to use which.
