    Hi, all I'm writing an application which contains many tabs, and sometimes the number of tabs may exceed five. So I want to make it behave like iPhone, which is, move additional tabs to a "More..." tab.     Hi All, New to this and a bit confused as to why calling the following method creates a force close: AudioManager myaudiomanager; public void toggleSilent() { myaudiomanager.setRingerMode(AudioManager.RINGER_MODE_SILENT); } I don't see any blatant errors and I have added permissions to the manifest regarding the audio manager. Anyone able to direct me further?

    Hi guys, i've got a problem with pushing files to my nexus one: It seems to me that there is only a small selection of file types that are accepted by my phone (such like jpg, gif and so on). I recently tried to push other files to my phone (in my case gpx) and my phone has rejected it automatically... is there a way to bypass or extent this filter?     Hi All, I am trying to implement ScoreNinja into one of my apps. It all seems to work, but when I submit a score it replaces the current #1 score with any that I supply, even it is lower. This means that only one score is ever displayed. Anyone got any idea what I'm doing wrong? I have e-mailed the dev but he/they haven't responded. I am writing a custom component (derived from a relative layout) which has to show a dialog, Is there a way to do this using callbacks like oncreatedialog or onpreparedialog? if not: if i have to create the dialog outside oncreatedialog, i have to "attach it to an Activity with setOwnerActivity(Activity)". How can the custom component access the activity it is used in, when it is used in the activity's xml-layout and not created from code?

I was thinking of implementing an AlertDialog but as I need more than 3 options it is not possible... I also thought of putting my ListView in a FrameLayout and have an view with a gone visibility that I would turn visible at the click and update the content but I don't know If it's a good idea.
