• C#: Do I need to lock a static class when accessing from separate threads?

  I have a static class with a few methods that just take in a byte array, parses it, and returns a structure. I need to call these methods from many separate threads. Do I need a lock() or some kind of thread-safety within the methods? I can't get my head around it.

  Hi, I'm using Spring 2.5 with my custom class that implements MessageListener. If a JmsException is thrown in my onMessage( ) method, what happens to the state of the queue? Is the message considered "delivered" by the queue the moment onMessage is called? Or does the JmsException trigger some kind of rollback and the message is re-entered on the queue? • Is it possible to integrate user databases between Drupal and an ASP&SQL Server platform?

  We have a game project designed on ASP&SQL Server, and we need to integrate it's user database with Drupal. This would be easier from Project to Drupal (since there is user_save and user_delete functions available globally by using drupal bootstrap) but I'm not sure if we can execute PHP functions on an ASP platform. It is possible to write ::: in C++ without using quotes or anything like this and the compiler will accept it (macros are prohibited too). And the same is true for C# too, but in C#, you have to write ???. I think C++ will use the :: scope operator and C# will use ? : , but I do not know the answers to them. Any idea?
