• mod_status being overridden by default site

  I am trying to set up the mod_status module in Apache2 per the documentation here: http://www.serverdensity.com/docs/agent/apachestatus/ My problem is that my default site is over-riding the /server-status location, what is it that I am doing wrong?

• Rails 3 shows 404 error instead of index.html (nginx + unicorn)

  I have an index.html in public/ that should be loading by default but instead I get a 404 error when I try to access http://example.com/ The page you were looking for doesn't exist. You may have mistyped the address or the page may have moved. This has something to do with nginx and unicorn which I am using to power Rails 3 When take unicorn out of the nginx configuration file, the problem goes away and index.html loads just fine. • nginx probably deliering wrong filetype for .css file with php tags

  And again - NGINX is giving me many Questions today :) Like always, I already tried around for a while, but cant seem to fix this issue: I just configured NGINX to handle my .css files equal to my .php files (to parse PHP tags inside the CSS file). This works perfectly, and the file is found and delivered. I could debug it with FIrebug, and everything is OK (it displays the contents of the .css inside the opened <link> tag). So, everything working, right? Wrong. It has the CSS, but it does not interpret it! What I mean by this: apparently, the file-type of the CSS (or aplication-type, whatever) is wrong. The Page can access the CSS, but doesnt bother at all to actually use it. What I checked / tried: There are no PHP errors inside of the .css, so that one is out The .css is accessible. TLDR; CSS file is delivered correctly, but it doesnt seem to be 'used' as CSS from the browser. (Tested, works on apache)

  Possible Duplicate: What are PATH and other environment variables, and how can I set or use them? I have the default package of Ruby installed that shipped with the OS, which is an older version. I have recently installed MacPorts with the latest Ruby version which is installed in a seperate location:- /opt/local/bin/ But when I run which ruby I get /usr/bin/ruby Is there any way to edit the path of the command ruby so it would reference the new installation in the /opt/ directory? • Listen to music from different sources possible?

  I would like to be able to listen to any song I've listened once before. Sometimes I listen to a CD, then to a MP3, a portable music player, ipod, radio channel, online services. I think it must be possible to save an index online of all my music. This index must indicate where the music is stored and ultimately be able to retrieve that song from the location. • How do I set up an anonymous autoversioning mod_dav_svn server?

  I would like to create a DAV SVN server with autoversioning that has no access control of any kind. I experimented with several variations on this, but every one of them runs into this error in the end: "Anonymous lock creation is not allowed." So, as a fallback option I would like to configure my SVN Location to have default credentials. Is this possible? Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do?

  I'm trying to find a computer at work that we can't find the physical location of. There's no documentation in the inventory of it but it responds to nslookup, ping, and i can log onto it and edit it's files. However, we have no idea where in the building it is. Anyone have any good ideas for finding it outside of making it beep repetitively and annoying people while i run around looking for it?

  I've very basic understanding of linux systems, but I've a server which was setup a while ago to host some web apps. Recently I decided to test out and implement Sphinx but unfortunately I cant get the install to work. I'm running a Debian Lenny distro and when I try to install sphinx it says - checking MySQL include files... configure: error: missing include files. ****************************************************************************** ERROR: cannot find MySQL include files. • Why doesn't this Firefox bookmark keyword work?

  On my work PC, Firefox stores a 10 MB file called places.sqlite in my roaming profile: C:\Users\MY_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\PROFILE_ID\places.sqlite I don't use any location-related features in Firefox, and this file causes my roaming profile to be larger than my company allows (25 MB), meaning I get warnings about my profile size every day. Can I stop Firefox storing this file in my roaming profile?

  We are working to get a large (inherited) VMware ESX 3.5 environment with multiple SANs under control. We first need to create a diagram / Excel spreadsheet / whatever that explains what VM is stored where. This is a rather time-consuming task to complete by just using the VI client to copy down everything. Is there a good script or tool out there that can do this for us? I would like to see: VM Name, LUN, Actual file-name/location of VMDK/VMX, Power State, Host Any ideas?

• phpMyAdmin causes php-fpm worker to restart (502 Bad Gateway)

  I am trying to set up a test site for myself. Everything works fine except phpMyAdmin. php installation loads my test site scripts, they work fine, however trying to load phpMyAdmin i get 502 Bad Gateway error. Judging from logs (that are not too helpful) it seems that php-fpm worker is crashing each time phpmyadmin is being accessed. No clue how or why..
