    I am running rails on a local server on windows. I installed wkhtmltoimage to C:/Sites/wkhtmltoimage Now I have to tell IMGKit where to find it, so I added a file initializers/imgkit.rb: IMGKit.configure do |config| config.wkhtmltoimage = 'C:/Sites/wkhtmltoimage' end But When I try to use IMGKit, rails tells me: No wkhtmltoimage executable found at /usr/local/bin/wkhtmltoimage But I set up a new path for it ? What do I have to do now ? Please help.

    I'm using setuptools for a Python script I wrote After installing, I do: $ megazord -i input -d database -v xx-xx -w yy-yy Like I would if I was running it ./like_this However, I get: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/bin/megazord", line 9, in <module> load_entry_point('megazord==1.0.0', 'console_scripts', 'megazord')() TypeError: main() takes exactly 1 argument (0 given) Which looks like setuptools is not sending my arguments to main() to be parsed (by optparse) Here's my setuptools config for entry_points: entry_points = { 'console_scripts': [ 'megazord = megazord.megazord:main', 'megazord-benchmark = megazord.benchmark:main', 'megazord-hash = megazord.mzhash:main', 'megazord-mutate = megazord.mutator:main', ] } Any ideas?

I am able to replace other images, which comes after this image. I have done it by replaceing my images with the images present in /usr/share/images/xflash.But it is not possible to replace the mentioned image by this way.   • C++ EZWindows Linker Errors when trying to run demos

    I'm attempting to download and use the EZWindows ( http://www.cs.virginia.edu/c++programdesign/software/ ) SPARC installation (the http://www.cs.virginia.edu/c++programdesign/software/EzWindows2a-SPARC.tar.gz file). When trying to build some of the examples that come with it, I'm getting some linker errors that I just can't figure out. I'm running it into Ubuntu 12.04 and R 2.15.0 Does anyone knows what's going on?

    I’ve installed a local (per-account) PEAR instance on shared web-hosting. After that I’ve installed PHPUnit. It doesn’t work in command-line mode because PHPUnit classes are not under default include_path that is ".:/usr/local/lib/php". The same, I think, would happen with local phing and other command-line tools installed via PEAR. Is there a way to specify per-account include_path value that will contain my local PEAR path "~/pear/php"?

  • Twisted: why is it that passing a deferred callback to a deferred thread makes the thread blocking a

    I unsuccessfully tried using txredis (the non blocking twisted api for redis) for a persisting message queue I'm trying to set up with a scrapy project I am working on. I found that although the client was not blocking, it became much slower than it could have been because what should have been one event in the reactor loop was split up into thousands of steps. So instead, I tried making use of redis-py (the regular blocking twisted api) and wrapping the call in a deferred thread. It works great, however I want to perform an inner deferred when I make a call to redis as I would like to set up connection pooling in attempts to speed things up further.   • Munin Mongodb Plugin Not Showing. . . ?

    I have installed munin and munin-node on my monitoring server and installed munin-node on my mongodb server, I have set them both up and all is working great. But, the mongodb plugins aren't showing on my monitoring server. I see the node listed and "Disk, Network, Processes, System", but not the mongo stuff. If I execute one of the plugins directly on the mongo server "python /usr/share/munin/plugins/mongo_btree" it returns output, but nothing shows on the monitoring server.

  • why do i see THROW in a C library

    When I do: less /usr/include/stdio.h (which is only a C library - nothing to do with C++) I see __THROW after quite a few function declarations. Also, comments above a few functions say that 'This function is a possible cancellation point and therefore not marked with __THROW' What is all this for? THROW is meant to be for exception handling.. but as far as I know, C doesn't provide any support for it... Plz explain.

    Hi. I'm working on a 64-bit Linux system, trying to build some code that depends on third-party libraries for which I have binaries. During linking, I get a stream of undefined reference errors for one of the libraries, indicating that the linker couldn't resolve references to standard C++ functions/classes, e.g.: librxio.a(EphReader.o): In function `gpstk::EphReader::read_fic_data(std::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> > const&)': EphReader.cpp:(.text+0x27c): undefined reference to `std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >& std::__ostream_insert<char, std::char_traits<char> >(std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, char const*, long)' EphReader.cpp:(.text+0x4e8): undefined reference to `std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >& std::__ostream_insert<char, std::char_traits<char> >(std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, char const*, long)' I'm not really a C++ programmer, but this looks to me like it can't find the standard library. Doing some more research, I got the following when I looked at librxio's dependency for the standard library: $ ldd librxio.so.16.0 ./librxio.so.16.0: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by ./librxio.so.16.0) libm.so.6 => /lib64/libm.so.6 (0x00002aaaaad45000) libstdc++.so.6 => /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6 (0x00002aaaaafc8000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /lib64/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x00002aaaab2c8000) libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00002aaaab4d7000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x0000555555554000) So I read that as saying that librxio (one of the third-party libraries) requires at least v3.4.9 of the standard library. But the version I have installed is 4.1.2: $ rpm -qa | grep libstdc compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-61.x86_64 libstdc++-devel-4.1.2-14.el5.i386 libstdc++-devel-4.1.2-14.el5.x86_64 libstdc++-4.1.2-14.el5.x86_64 libstdc++-4.1.2-14.el5.i386 Shouldn't this work? The shared object major number is 6, same as for v3.4.9. At this level, shouldn't this be backward compatible? It seems like the third-party library is looking for an earlier version of the standard library than what I have installed; but isn't there backward compatibility between versions with the same major number for the shared library? Again, I'm not really a C++ programmer; but I don't see what the problem is. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi, I have a header file that has some forward declarations but when I include the header file in the implementation file it gets included after the includes for the previous forward declarations and this results in an error like this. error: using typedef-name ‘std::ifstream’ after ‘class’ /usr/include/c++/4.2.1/iosfwd:145: error: ‘std::ifstream’ has a previous declaration. I am running Mac OS X version 10.6.3 Gitnub version 0.9.1 I have copied the GitNub.app to my applications folder and created a new folder under /usr/local/ called "bin" to put the 'nub' executable inside of it.
