I have situation like this: user submits form with action='/pay' in '/pay' I have to add some additional parameters and send post request to www.paymentprovider.com/new_payment The problem is that I want to post and redirect (at the same time) user to this new website www.paymentprovider.com/new_payment. Currently I am using Net::HTTP.post_form Do you know any ways to achieve this?

    Hi all, I've got an e-shop on a virtual server that's been used as a subdirectory for the last few years, but now I'm finally giving the VS it's own domain name. What I really need is visitors to the old URL to be transparently (and 301) redirected to the new URL with everything after /eshop/ maintained and apended to the new host. I.e. http://www.example.com/eshop/page.php - http://www.newdomain.com/page.php Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey, I'm trying to redirect something like foo/bar to ?foo=bar, so I can do www.mydomain.com/hey/foo/bar to www.mydomain.com/hey/?foo=bar, but I can't seem to get the syntax right. I tried the following: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^foo/(.*)$ ?foo=bar [NC] But this doesn't work. How would I accomplish this? I tried adding a forward slash behind the question mark, but that makes it link to the root directory. Thanks, Jengerer

    open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/domain.com) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs:/tmp) How do I securely fix this? This is preventing me from listing and creating directories outside of the current directory. What I mean by securely is that I don't want to remove a piece of code from a configuration file and potentially make it easier for hackers to do whatever.

    Hi all, After hours of reading about and experimenting with DNS records I can access my Google app engine app via these URLs: myappid.appspot.com www.myappid.myowndomain.com What does not work: myowndomain.com www.myowndomain.com I want to be able to serve my app directly off my domain and not a subdomain. How could I merge the brushes so that when I apply them, I can apply both at once.   • ASP.NET MVC not serving default document

    I have an ASP.NET MVC application where the default page should be an index.html. I can browse to the file using www.mydomain.com/index.html but if I use www.mydomain.com I get a 404. I have check to see if the default document is correctly set in IIS7 and it is and I have even commented out all my routes to ensure it isn't that. Does anyone know how to get ASP.NET MVC to serve the default document?

    I need help with a rewrite in .htaccess. I am trying to do the following: When a user types http://www.example.com/csc/alabama/ I need to pull info from http://www.example.com/csc/index.php?state=alabama I thought it should be this Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^csc/([^/]*)$ /csc/index.php?state=$1 [L] I keep getting a 404 error. On a side note, I would like to be able to do this with a generic sub-directory, so that csc could be abc or anything else but this is not the priority.

In Both cases I have to rewrite to group.php and I need only groupid. How to write rewrite rule to work in both situation?

    Hey there. I am very unfamiliar with nginx, as a forewarning, and also can't find any actual references on the regex system they use. So right now it's a black box to me. All I want to do is redirect a user trying to go to www.mydomain.com/mydirectory/X to www.myotherdomain.com/X .
