    in the iPhone Calendar app, the view to select the calendar for a particular event has a coloured circle next to the calendar name, drawn with a graduated/3D effect of a ball. Does anyone have any sample code for how this is drawn - I can draw a solid circle in the UITableViewCell, but I'm not sure how to get the 3D effect. Thanks.

    I want to get the path of my app like: "\\ProgramFiles\\myApp", I try to use the following code: string path = System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetName().CodeBase; But it returns a path which has "\\myapp.exe" at the end. I also tried: string path = System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory(); But it throws an “NotSupportedException”. Is there any way to get a path without .exe at the end?

    Hi, when the user enters text in a uitextview I would that the title of the navigation bar changed dynamically like it happens in the Notes app. How can I achieve this? I think a label is used, don't I? Thanks Fran EDIT: I know how change the title of a navigation bar, but how do this in a such way that the textview is tied to the title, so while user enters the first line of text in the same moment the title changes (letter by letter)?

    I am looking for a system to parallelise a large suite of tests in a Ruby on Rails app (using rspec, cucumber) that works using JRuby. Cucumber is actually not too bad, but the full rSpec suite currently takes nearly 20 minutes to run. The systems I can find (hydra, parallel-test) look like they use forking, which isn't the ideal solution for the JRuby environment.

    I'm trying to show one public twitter profile in one WebView of my app, is not necessary to login twitter, in the MotoDev Simulator this works fine, but in the physical device don't work, this: "403 fobiden limite exceed rate" error appears, this is the simple code line that I'm using: webView.loadUrl("https://mobile.twitter.com/#!/asambleaecuador"); and works fine into de MotoDev simulator AVD ....can somebody helpme please!!!     I have my iPhone setup on my computer at home, with my developer account and provisioning profile. I'm trying to get it setup on my work computer so I can run work apps on it as well. My work has their own dev account. I created an app ID and privisioning profile on my personal account and downloaded it on my work computer but its not letting me compile and run on my iPhone. It says valid provisiong profile not found on executable.

  • What's the best way to skin my iPhone app (similar to how the Notes app is skinned)?

    If you look at the Notes app on the iPad, you can see it uses all native iPhone controls, but they're "skinned" to look like a pad of paper. What's the best way to implement something similar to that? Could I use interface builder and simply change the background image for each of the controls, including the TableViews?
