  • sql: trying to select the second biggest element but selects the biggest

    we want to have the second biggest element. We first use ANY to exclude the biggest one. Then we use all to select the biggest. However when we run this query, it shows the biggest and not the second one. Why? I'm trying to use Google common collection's Objects.equal() method in a GWT client code, but I'm keep getting the error "20:12:10.001 [ERROR] [gwt_regex] Line 39: No source code is available for type com.google.common.base.Objects; did you forget to inherit a required module?" Tried to Google for the answer, but couldn't find any answer regarding this - everyone just said "Google collection should work off the box with GWT".

I wanna have a diagram with the following table Apple 30 40 50 Pears 200 300 400 Bananas 10 20 30 The weird thing, when I try to draw a bar diagram the order of the bars change. So Excel draws me first the Bananas, the the pears and finally the apple bar... Is there anyway to tell Excel 2003 that it keeps the order? Thank you very much

    Hi all, I have a table that contains sales transaction (~20 mil rows). Previously I used MSSQL and export it to an Excel pivot. Data refresh took 10-15 minutes but still do-able. However, after I migrated to MySQL (using XamppLite & ODBC), it took forever to refresh the data in the Excel pivot. Maybe I didn't optimize the MySQL good enough ? Anyone can share some thoughts 'bout this ? Thanks

    Basically, I would like to manage quality testing with an issue management system focused on quality testing? I can't use the typical issue management system such as Lighthouse, FogBugz because each test is written as a ticket and 20 to 30 tickets need to be duplicated (w/ no history) every time we start a quality cycle. Do any (hosted) sites exist? We're currently using a Google Spreadsheet so it can be collaboratively edited.

  • Meteor exception in Meteor.flush when updating a collection breaks reactivity across clients

    When I'm calling Collection.update from the front end (the method call is allowed), the update does work ok, but the exception below is being thrown (in Chrome's JS console, not in the server). Although the update took place, other clients connected to the same collection do not see the updates until they refresh the browser - I suspect because of the exception. Why when I try to create a new mysqli object in php with invalid database infomation (say an incorrect database name) does it not return an error intstantly? I usually program server stuff in Java and something like this would throw back an error strait away, not after 20 seconds or so. For example $conn = new mysqli($host, $username, $password, $database); Thanks!
