    I am trying to get the count of the items in a sharepoint document library programatically. The scale I am working with is 30-70000 items. We have usercontrol in a smartpart to display the count . Ours is a TEAM site. This is the code to get the total count SPList VoulnterrList = web.Lists[ListTitle]; SPQuery query = new SPQuery(); query.ViewAttributes = "Scope=\"Recursive\""; string queries = "<Where><Eq><FieldRef Name='ApprovalStatus' /><Value Type='Choice'>Pending</Value></Eq></Where>"; query.Query = queries; SPListItemCollection lstitemcollAssoID = VoulnterrList.GetItems(query); lblCount.Text = "Total Proofs: " + VoulnterrList.Items.Count.ToString() + " Pending Proofs: " + lstitemcollAssoID.Count.ToString(); The problem is this has serious performance issue it takes 75 to 80 sec to load the page. if we comment this page load will decrees to 4 sec. Any better approch for this problem Ours is sharepoint 2007

    I know I can get posts (paginated, 25 at times) of a certain user with this: https://graph.facebook.com/575128756/posts And the likes of a certain post (paginated, 25 at times) with this GRAPH api call (I omit the first part of the url): /575128756_176517292390301/likes But if I want to get the likes from friends of the post user only? FQL could be an alternative (from table like and subqueries for friend and stream), but FQL seems so buggy in my tests I don't feel comfortable using it in a productive system. Is there anyway to achieve my target using the GRAPH api?

    Funny, how sometimes the simple things bite me in the behind. I can bind a DataGrid nicely to a Collection of some arbitrary class, using a DataGridTextColumn like this: <DataGridTextColumn Header="Name" Binding="{Binding Name}"/> Now I want to bind a DataGrid to a simple Collection. So since there is no property "Name" or something like that to bind to, how do I write the binding: <DataGridTextColumn Header="Name" Binding="{Binding ???}"/> String has no Property "Value" or something like that. And if I just write {Binding } I'll end up with a one-way-binding, unable to write changes back to the Collection. Thinking about it, I think it is not possible to bind to a collection, so I do need to wrap my string into a class? Or is there a way?

    I just recently got the approval to upgrade our project from .NET 1.1. to .NET 4. I loaded up the project in Visual Studio 2010 and I've got it compiled and working. However as is to be expected there are over 3000 warnings I need to start looking at and handling. The problem is this solution has about 20 projects in it. So what I'd like to be able to do is filter the warnings on project. So I could say only show warnings for this project. Does anyone know if this is possible in Visual Studio 2010 or if there is an add-on I can add?

  • Subitems are not all added to a list view in C# using XmlNodeList

    I'm working on extracting data from an RSS feed. In my listview (rowNews), I've got two columns: Title and URL. When the button is clicked, all of the titles of the articles are showing up in the title column, but only one URL is added to the URL column. I switched them around so that the URLs would be added to the first column and all of the correct URLs appeared... leading me to think this is a problem with my listview source (it's my first time working with subitems).     Hi all I dont know if its a django bug or a feature but i have a strange ORM behaviour with MySQL. class Status(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length = 50) class Article(models.Model) status = models.ForeignKey(status, blank = True, null=True) filters = Q(status__in =[0, 1,2] ) | Q(status=None) items = Article.objects.filter(filters) this returns Article items but some have other status than requested [0,1,2,None] looking at the sql query : SELECT [..] FROM `app_article` LEFT OUTER JOIN `app_status` ON (`app_article`.`status_id` = `app_status`.`id`) WHERE (`app_article`.`status_id` IN (1, 2) OR `app_status`.`id` IS NULL) ORDER BY [...] the OR app_status.id IS NULL part seems to be the cause. if i change it to OR app_article.status_id IS NULL it works correctly. How to deal with this ? Thanx.

Trying to randomize the order of presentation during the experiment, I need to maximize the distance between the 4 display of the same original stimuli. Please Consider : Table[{j, i}, {j, Range[48]}, {i, Range[4]}] Where j is the original stimuli number and i the condition Output Sample : {{1, 1}, {1, 2}, {1, 3}, {1, 4}, {2, 1}, {2, 2}, {2, 3}, {2, 4}, ... {47, 1}, {47, 2}, {47, 3},{47, 4}, {48, 1}, {48, 2}, {48, 3}, {48, 4}} How could I shuffle the order of presentation of those 192 items, maximizing the distance between identical item with regard to j the original stimuli number ?
