• Analysing traffic sources in Analytics for Magento sales

  Hi I have a Magento installation linked with a Google Analytics account. It works very well in that I can see conversions, I can see the products that are selling directly from analytics and I can get an overview of traffic sources for those sales. What I can't work out how to track/see is what keywords are being used by the customers that are completing sales. Can anybody let me know how this data can be gathered or if it's even possible? (is this possibly a privacy issue?)

• Prevent azure subdomain indexation

  Let me explain my situation, I have an azure website (with azurewebsites.net sub domain), and a custom domain.com, built with asp.net MVC Both are being indexed by Google, but I've noticed the custom domain is being penalized and it doesn't show up in results, it only shows when I search for "site:domain.com" I want to remove and block the azurewebsites.net subdomain from Google. I've read the "possible" solutions: Adding robots.txt: won't work, because the subdomain and the domain are the exact same content, so subdomain.azures.net/robots.txt will lead to domain.com/robots.txt, removing the domain as well. Adding the tag, is the same situation as the previous point. I'm using a CNAME register to redirect the domain to the subdomain, so I can't redirect to a sub directory. Do you have any other ideas?

  Yesterday we officially launched our new YouTube channel.  Today we are announcing another initiative that we have been working on for a while: to help you learn common customization tasks, we are going to publish a series of detailed How-To documents with lots of screenshots.  Many of these will also be the script for a YouTube video, giving you the choice to see it in action or go through the steps yourself guided by a PDF document. The focus of the initial set of How-Tos will be JDeveloper/ADF customizations, but over time we will expand into other areas.  Today's first document is meant to get everyone up to the point where a JDeveloper environment is up and running: a white paper that shows you how to set up JDeveloper, configure the integrated WLS domain, and make a very, very simple customization work. • No sound in any web browser(s)

  Hello I recently tried to compile and update alsa from source via this guide http://www.stchman.com/alsa_update.html. Afterwards the sound in any web browser I open Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Chromium, Iron there is no sound on any pages. I went back through the script listed on the site and found where it had installed the drivers and deleted it and than re-installed alsa via synaptic. Though I still have no sound in my browser(s). All system sounds work as they are supposed to only web sounds don't work. Here is my alsabase.conf http://paste.ubuntu.com/1073135/ also a snapshot of alsamixer Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank You and let me know if any more information is required.

• How to synchronise the acceleration, velocity and position of the monsters on the server with the players?

  I'm building an MMO using Node.js, and there are monsters roaming around. I can make them move around on the server using vector variables acceleration, velocity and position. acceleration = steeringForce / mass; velocity += acceleration * dTime; position += velocity * dTime; Right now I just send the positions over, and tell the players these are the "target positions" of the monsters, and let the monsters move towards the target positions on the client with a speed dependant on the distance of the target position. It works but looks rather strange. How do I synchronise these properly with the players without looking funny to them, taking into account the server lag? The problem is that I don't know how to make use of the correct acceleration/velocity values here; right now they just move directly in a straight line to the target position instead of accelerating/braking there properly. How can I implement such behaviour?

These two features make PostgreSql a great back end for agile development, because they make PL/PgSql more resilient to changes. Both features are not in SQL Server 2008 R2. • Easy Server-Side Language

  Most of programming languages (Server-side languages for web development) needs a learning curve and requires some time to learn. However, I'm sure there is a difference between them. So, for example you can master the 'X' language in less time than the 'Y' language. I'm a beginner in web development, meaning that I just know HTML and CSS and now want to choose the right tool for building dynamic sites. What I'm looking for is a language that is easy to master in less time than other languages. So, is there a language that can suit my needs? If so, please let me know about what should I learn in it? • Viewport.Unproject - Checking if a model intersects a large sprite

  Let's say I have a sprite, drawn like this: spriteBatch.Draw(levelCannons[i].texture, levelCannons[i].position, null, alpha, levelCannons[i].rotation, Vector2.Zero, scale, SpriteEffects.None, 0); Picture levelCannon as being a laser beam that goes across the entire screen. I need to see if my 3d model intersects with the screen space inhabited by the sprite. I managed to dig up Viewport.Unproject, but that seems to only be useful when dealing with a single point in 2d space, rather than an area. What can I do in my case?

• Configuring Network without Default Gateway

  I'm trying to connect my desktop and laptop using an ethernet connection. I usually configure network from the command line but this time I decided to give Network Manager a try, so I went to Network Connections, and selected manual IP configuration. At first I left the default gateway field blank, since I don't need a default gateway. Turned out network manager doesn't let me save the connection unless I enter that field, but entering a phony gateway messes up with my Internet connection. Anyway to do this setup?

• Rotate object Up/Down/Left/Right in any orientation

  I'm rendering model at the origin with a fixed camera looking at it positioned on the z axis. I want to be able to rotate the model up/down and left/right. Currently I have 2 variables, HorizontalRotation and VerticalRotation. When calculating the world matrix I rotate about the Y axis by HorizontalRotation and about the X axis by VerticalRotation. The ..Rotation variables are controlled by pressing up/down/left/right arrow keys. The problem I'm having is that the rotations are happening relative to the object. Lets say it's a model of the world. Pressing Up a bit would let me look at the north pole. Currently when i press right the earth spins infront of the camera on its axis; I'm still looking at the north pole. How can i get it so that no matter what rotations are currently applied i can always rotate my model relative to the camera/world axis?

• Changing the rendering resolution while maintaining the design layout

  I would like to increase the FPS of my project. Currently I would like to try reducing the resolution at which the scenes are rendered. Let's say I never want to draw more than 1280*720. What ever the real resolution is. How should I proceed? I tried pEGLView->setFrameSize(1280, 720); but only reduces the displayed size of the frame on screen (boxing). • Inputting cheat codes - hidden keyboard input

  Okay, here's what I want to do - when the player is at the main menu, I want them to be able to type in cheat codes. That's the only place I want it to work. I don't want to give them a text box to type into. Rather, I want them to simply type in a word (let's say "cheat", just for simplicity sake) that activates the cheat code. I only need to capture keyboard input when the window is in focus. What can I do to accomplish this?

• Not able to create Live CD

  I downloaded 12.04.1 on a Windows 7 machine. I burnt a DVD from the ISO image using Windows Disc Image Burner. I had 'verify disc' on. The disc was created successfully with no errors. I was not able to use this disc for installing Ubuntu on another Windows 7 machine. I do not get the Welcome Screen on booting. I find that on the disc I burnt, I do not find bin, disc tree, programs directories and cdromupgrade, start.*, ubuntu* files. I found the boot directory and WUBI executable file. I tried downloading several times with the same result. I had similar problem earlier with 11.04. Can you please let me where the problem is?

  Say, my project have dependency N with version 1.0.0. Then something have changed, and I should depend on newer version - let it be 1.0.1. OK, I'm incrementing dependency version, nothing else changes in my code. It looks like I should increment my own projects' version, but how exactly I should increment? Should I increment only third number (so-called revision), or best practices here are more complicated. For example, may be, if we are changing projects' dependency minor value, we should do the same thing in the project itself?

• Network printer gets disabled occasionally

  I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and have a HP-Laserjet-3005P network printer. Occasionally (perhaps related to rebooting) the printer, which is setup as the default printer, becomes disabled. After realizing that I'm not getting anything printed, I must then open printing preferences and click on "enabled". Then it prints happily until the next time that it becomes disabled... Any ideas why this is happening and/or how I could fix it? I know I'm giving very little information, I can't think of anything else to give...if there's something I should be providing, please let me know.

  Ok so I have decided to A/B test my AdSense ads. I have run a few tests, but I don't know what conclusion to draw and how to keep track of things. Some specific questions: If I have 2 test units, 1 wins. I test that with a new and so on. How do I find if say the fifth one did better than the first one? How do I keep track of things? Do I let the variables independent of each other, because they certainly are not. In real life, font size can affect CTR even if the colors are different. I can test blue color with red color, and then test Arial font with Georgia, but how do I know which combination is the best? This would result in way too many test units. I tried Googling a lot, but I could not find answers to these questions.

• Problem with Update(GameTime) Methods and Pause implementation

  I have the pause function implemented and it works correctly in that it dims the player screen and stops updating the gameplay. The problem is that GameTime continues to increase while it is paused, so my method that checks gameTime versus previousSpawnTime before spawning another enemy gets messed up and if the game is paused too long it is noticeable that the next enemy draws far too early. Here is my code for the enemy update. private void UpdateEnemies(GameTime gameTime) { // Spawn a new enemy every 1.5 seconds if (gameTime.TotalGameTime - previousSpawnTime > enemySpawnTime) { previousSpawnTime = gameTime.TotalGameTime; // Add an Enemy AddEnemy(); } ... I also have other methods that depend on gameTime. I've tried getting the total pause time and subtracting that from the total game time, but I can't seem to get it to work correctly if that is the way I should go about solving this. • Trying to re-install ubuntu 11.10on an HP Pavillion G6, screen goes black after the ubuntu logo shows.How do I get it to install normally?

  Installed Ubuntu 11.1 successfully without my wireless device being recognized. Used sudo apt-get update + upgrade commands to attempt to fix this. Computer crashes after upgrade and now it won't finish re-installing Ubuntu, after it shows the first purple screen with the Ubuntu logo, the screen goes black. Used the Derik's Boot Nuke CD and then attempted re-installment again, and the black screen problem remains consistent, seemingly no matter what I do. It sounds like it's installing but won't let me see anything or go anywhere. heelllppp

  I have a strange issue with my website and it seems i am unable to understand what cauese the problem.I would highly appreciate your help.The Scenario is I have two websites. Website A Website B Website A is simply hosted within the root directory of my hosting account.Within this root *directory* i have a sub folder " subfolder A " and within which is another subfolder " subfolder B " that contains my site Website B so the path looks like root/sublfolder_A/subfolder_B/ that contains my **Website B ( i.e subfolder_B) ** All goes fine.When i access the website B from my desktop/Laptop Website B is loaded normally. but when i access the Website through a mobile device , mobile site of Website A is loaded while as it should load website_B Also , to let you know , both websites have different URL's and not subdomain's or anything. What could be the problem ? htaccess of website B or website A ? or something else ? I recently discussed & visited some of the websites which states that java is better then .net, a I also discussed with some of the experience persons all suggested me to switch to java of course spring, struts etc. As Java developer is being paid high then .net one. I personally think I should go for web services SOAP, XML etc. thanks to all for response I also want to know if I can only move to webservices ex. WCF, SOAP, XML, XSLT etc. Kindly help me I am bit confused. Thanks
