    I'm trying to run Selenium headless (without the browser appearing). Other questions have pointed to xvfb as the tool to do this. However, it appears highly unstable, crashing all the time, so I'm looking for another alternative. Is there a non-xvfb way of running Selenium headless?

    is there a simple way to modify the InnerXml of a XElement? supose we have this extremely simple xml and we want to append some xml that come from another source that comes like a string ".....blablabla" into the earth node. I read related questions but they talk about retrieving the innerxml of a XElement and i don't understand how "modify" the actual Xelement :(

    Hi. I've seen some questions on catching paste event. This looks helpful. But I want to prevent paste from happening when the pasted content is not plaintext, but comes from msword or other wysiwyg editor. Anybody got any experience on that? I suppose I should catch the event and look for some specific tags in the clipboard. Any known content that msie adds everytime?

    I use FlowCoverView (http://chaosinmotion.com/blog/?p=295) for cover flow, which I discovered through this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/767048/iphone-coverflow FlowCoverView last update was in mid-2009 and it's performance is not very good when the images are taken from the documents directory. Yet, there are lots of apps with cover flow. I was wondering if we all use FlowCoverView, or if there's is a better, maybe iPad-optimized solution that I haven't heard about yet. What do you use to implement cover flow in iPhone/iPad?

  • Python 3.1, trying to unescape html/unicode/xml characters

    I found my problem here, but there is only an answer for Python 2.6. Basically, I need to unescape strings such as this: 'a altieri_joão' to show the proper characters. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/990169/how-do-convert-unicode-escape-sequences-to-unicode-characters-in-a-python-string I need to do this in 3.1, but when I try print (u'a altieri_jo&#xe3;o') if gives me invalid syntax. And when I try name.decode('latin-1') it says 'str' has no method 'decode'.

    Hi there; Does anyone know how to stop a UIWebView from bouncing vertically? I mean when a user touches their iphone screen, drags their finger downwards, and the webview shows a blank spot above the web page I had loaded?   • Webservice Follow Redirect False - Error 302 (JAXWS)

    This is a link to a question I had asked two days back, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2573858/how-to-make-a-webservice-request-follow-a-redirect I am using jaxws library. The service forms the URL, and then internally creates the HTTPURLConnection. If I can grab hold of the connection I would be able to set the followRedirect to true. But not getting a handle of the same. Its urgent, any help would be highly appreciated.

[formatter setDateFormat:@"yyyy/mm/dd"]; NSDate *date = [formatter dateFromString:@"2010/03/10"]; if (date) { NSLog(@"Date returned:::%@",date); return date; } The Probelm is that, its returning the date --- '2010-01-10 00:03:00 +0600' The month is changed to 1 and the minute to 3, What might be the problem???

  • Flash - Firefox issue

    I realised that if I do have a flash object and do not include a 'wmode' attribute, I will not be able to overlay HTML because the flash will always play on top. But if I do include a 'wmode:transparent' , the flash object completely disappears in firefox, whereas if I use 'wmode:opaque' , I get a white box in place of the Flash object. I've looked at many forums - many questions - but somehow everyone's problem gets resolved when they use one of the aforementioned attributes. So....HELP !!! Note: using either attribute works in IE.
