  • Which SharePoint Authentication Mode Should I be using for this scenario?

    I currently have a sharepoint 2010 site for which NTLM windows authentication has been enabled (by default it is against Active Directory I believe). I'd need to change this so that I have 1 custom login page which accepts username/password/domain and validates those information against the active directory, then if that was valid, I'll write logic to logon to another webservice which is located on another server and returns me a unique sessionId that I can store (as a cookie) for further use. Please could you advise which authentication mode I can use to create this custom login page? should that be FBA against AD? not sure how that works. Thanks in advance.

    My IM stores the logs according to the contact name. I have created a file with the list of active contacts. My problem is following: I would like to create a bash script with read the active contacts names from the file and compare it with the directories. If the directory name wouldn't be found on the list, it would be moved to another directory (let's call it "archive"). I try to visualise it for you. content of the list: contact1 contact2 content of the dir contact1 contact2 contact3 contact4 after running of the script, the content fo the dir: contact1 contact2 contact3 == ../archive contact4 == ../archive

  • Format MySQL code inside PHP string

    Is there any program IDE or not that can format MySQL code inside PHP string e.g. I use PHPStorm IDE and it cannot do it. It does that for PHP and MYSQL but not for MYSQL inside php string. I am ready to use new IDE because now i have to manually format hundreds of database requests that are one line and not readable.   • Thread too slow. Better way to execute code (Android AndEngine)?

    I'm developing a game where the user creates sprites with every touch. I then have a thread run to check to see if those sprites collide with any others. The problem is, if I tap too quickly, I cause a null pointer exception error. I believe it's because I'm tapping faster than my thread is running. EDIT: I think question was misunderstood. There is a drawable inside the Toggle Button (flame_icon) and it is set as background. I want it to be centered. There is no Text, just an image. I need a Toggle Button because I need to have an Active State when selected. There is only drawableLeft, drawableRight, drawableTop, etc. I want a draweableMiddle that doesn't seem to exisit.

  • jQuery: Scroll the window then addClass() - how to callback

    Inside a jQuery event handler, I would like to scroll the window and then add a class to something. This is my code: $('#foo').click(function() { window.scrollTo(y); $('#bar').addClass('active'); }); $(window).scroll(function() { $('#bar').removeClass('active'); }); Notice I have another handler to remove that same class whenever the window is scrolled. The scrolling part works fine, but seems to run asynchronously, so removeClass() happens after addClass() but before the scrolling is finished. I don't know how to do this in plain javascript. I know there is a jQuery scrollTop() function that does the same thing (but seems to have cross-browser issues), but it doesn't accept a callback. What I really need is a callback to add the class after the scrolling is finished. thanks!

What's more, memory usage is growing all the time. I've had to restart my server once a week, because once my 256mb fills up it starts swapping, which it wouldn't do just for disk cache. Shouldn't there be some way for me to see the culprit?! I'm new to server admin, so please if there's something obvious I'm overlooking point it out to me.     I'm investigating the virtual memory configuration of a Debian based Amazon EC2 instance, and as my background isn't in system admin, I'm slightly confused by what I'm seeing. We're using MongoDB, and the monitoring server we have indicates that the Mongo process is using about 20GB of swap space, however I can't figure out where this is located on the server.     Hi, Following the setup that I have for my Cisco devices, I got some basic level of functionality authenticating users that loggin to 3Com switches authenticated against a RADIUS server. Problem is that I can not get the user to obtain admin privileges. I'm using Microsoft's IAS service. According to 3Com documentation when configuring the access policy on IAS the value of 010600000003 have to be used to specify admin access level. My email server is working perfectly. It marks spam in subject and headers using spamassasin. So essentially what I am trying to do here is route all traffic to the 10.zzz.zzz.0 subnet through the 10.xxx.xxx.147 gateway. Everything else should go through the 10.xxx.xxx.230 gateway. This is the intended behavior, and again it is working everywhere but that one station. I noticed that the Active Route metric costs differ between the two stations, but I am new to the routing table and I am not sure how that is impacting the behavior.   • Where is my VMware-ws FreeNAS CIFS(ZFS) bottle-neck?

    Background: I'm building a quiet HTPC + NAS that is also supposed to be used for general computer usage. I'm so far generally happy with things, it was just that I was expecting a little better IO performance. I have no clue if my expectations are unreal. The NAS is there as a general purpose file storage and as a media server for XBMC and other devices. ZFS is a requirement. Question: Where is my bottle-neck, and is there anything I can do config wise, to improve my performance? I'm thinking VM-disk settings could be something but I really have no idea where to go since I'm neither experienced with FreeNAS nor VMware-WS. Tests: When I'm on the host OS and copy files (from the SSD) to the CIFS share, I get around 30 Mbytes/sec read and write. When I'm on my laptop laptop, wired to the network, I get about the same specs. The test I've done are with a 16 GB ISO, and with about 200 MB of RARs and I've tried avoiding the RAM-cache by reading different files than the ones I'm writing ( 10 GB). It feels like having less CPU cores is a lot more efficient, since the resource manager in Windows reports less CPU-usage. With 4 cores in VMware, CPU usage was 50-80%, with 1 core it was 25-60%. EDIT: HD ActiveTime was quite high on SSD so I moved the page file, disabled hibernate and enabled Win DiskCache both on SSD and RAID. This resulted in no real performance difference for one file, but if i transferred 2 files the total speed went up to 50 Mbytes/s vs ~40. The ActiveTime avg also went down a lot (to ~20%) but has now higher bursts. DiskIO is on ~ 30-35 Mbytes/s avgs, with ~100Mb bursts. Network is on 200-250Mbits/s with ~45 active TCP connections. Hardware Asus F2A85-M Pro A10-5700 16GB DDR3 1600 OCZ Vertex 2 128GB SSD 2x Generic 1tb 7200 RPM drives as RAID0 (in win7) Intel Gigabit Desktop CT Software Host OS: Win7 (SSD) VMware Worksation 9 (SSD) FreeNAS 8.3 VM (20GB VDisk on SSD) CPU: I've tried 1, 2 and 4 cores. Virtualisation engine, Preferred mode: Automatic 10,24Gb ram 50Gb SCSI VDisk on the RAID0, VDisk is formatted as ZFS and exposed through CIFS through FreeNAS.
