    Hi, I have the following file structure: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/images I have an index.php file lying inside the admin folder which calls a header.inc.php file lying in the same folder. header.inc.php has the following code- <td align="left" valign="top" class="header-bg"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> index.php calls a css file (css.css) through the following code: <link href="<?php echo (WS_DIR_CSS); ?>/css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> The css lies in the following location: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/css The css files has a class which has the following code: .header-bg { background:url(../images/header_bg.jpg) left top repeat-x; height:77px; } The image header_bg.jpg is not being displayed in the browser. Help anyone?

    To draw a circle on map I have a center GLatLng (A) and a radius (r) in meters. Here's a diagram: ----------- --/ \-- -/ \- / \ / \ / r \ | *-------------* \ A / B \ / \ / -\ /- --\ /-- ----------- How to calculate the GLatLng at position B? Assuming that r is parallel to the equator. Getting the radius when A and B is given is trivial using the GLatLng.distanceFrom() method - but doing it the other way around not so. Seems that I need to do some heavier math.

  • Problem with increment in inline ARM assembly

    Hi , i have the following bit of inline ARM assembly, it works in a debug build but crashes in a release build of iphone sdk 3.1. The problem is the add instructions where i am incrementing the address of the C variables output and x by 4 bytes, this is supposed to increment by the size of a float.   • How do you return draggable content to their original positions in iPhone dev?

    I am wanting to create a button in my iPhone app that when touched will return other draggable elements to their original position. I have looked at the Apple "MoveMe' example, but that returns the button to the center of the screen. I want to be able to position draggable objects around the screen, drag the objects within the app, and then return them to their original starting positions by pressing a designated button. Any help appreciated!

  • Android: Alignment of four squares

    Hello There I am trying to align four equally sized squares on an Android Screen & I have now tried what feels like a million different approaches, yet none of them seem to work :(. What I've got at the moment is the following: <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/MasterLayout" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="#FFFFFF" <TableRow android:layout_weight="1" android:background="#BBBBBB" android:padding="0dip"> <TableRow android:layout_weight="1" android:padding="0dip"> This basically does the job. However, every one of those four Images has a huge padding above and under it. How do I get rid of that? Or do I need to use a different Layout type alltogether?   • Using CSS to positon text after an image

    I've trying to do something that I'm sure is simple, but I can't do it. All I want to do is have an image and then some text after that image, and be able to control accurately the amount of space between the image and the text. Here's my code: http://pastebin.com/fx17XUaR I couldn't work out how to paste it in here directly. In my style sheet, wrap has these attributes: .wrap { //text-align: left; width: 1100px; height: 870px; background-color: white; color: black; padding: 10px; margin: auto; I want my text to look like this directly below the image: Username Age Location Currently, I just add loads of break tags to control where I have the text, but that's messy and there must be a better way.   • Image as a background of a form in Delphi

    I'm using Delphi 2006. I have a few PNG images with transparencies and I have to create a GUI using them (top bar, left panel...). The images have different aligns properties. One of the images is the background of the form. The problem here is that I can't align it as alClient because it only occupies the rectangular zone that the other images have left, showing the naked canvas in their transparent zones. What I need is that the background image is put behind all the other images and taking all the canvas size. Is there anyway to do this? I know I can do this writting some logic in the OnResize event of the form but I was just curious if I was missing something. Thanks.

    Getting started with ImageMagic and trying to find a way to do this... If an image is less than 50 pixels tall or 50 pixels wide, I'd like to place it (un-scaled) in the horizontal/vertical center of a new 50x50 pixel canvas on top of a white background - and save that as the new image. Anyone know if this is possible with ImageMagick? Thanks!

  • Database migration

    We are migrating a client's own database schema to our own (both SQL-Server). Most of the mappings from their schema to ours have been indentified and rules been agreed on if the columns don't exactly align (default values etc.) Previously, depending on who was assigned the task, this has been done either with a mixture of sql scripts or one-off vb apps. I was thinking there must be a application (commercial or otherwise) where you can assign these mappings/rules and have it stream the data across. Surely the setting up and configuration of this tool would be less than the creation of ad-hoc scripts... Is there an app? Apart from the obvious 'be careful' any tips to mitigate the stress of a non-DBA porting one schema to another?

    Nemerle is a C-like language and mostly works very well with cindent. However, its construct analogous to switch is called match: match (x) { | "Hello World" => ... | _ => ... } Is it possible to get the cinoptions for switch statements to apply to this construct, instead? Maybe there is a regular expression I can set somewhere. If not, can I get the vertical bars to align with the braces another way?

  • When is it a good idea to use the CSS display property?

    I think I first learned of this property when I thought "I should put this list of items in a ul, but I want it to be laid out horizontally. I wonder if I can do that with CSS?" When I googled this, I found a couple of sites suggesting that I create a CSS rule that would change the value of the display property of the li elements to inline. I've also seen the suggestion that a div (or other block element) be given display: table-cell in order to force the vertical align property to work. These techniques seem kind of hacky. Does that make sense? This might not be a good analogy, but it seems like trying to ride a car as if it were a motorcycle. Yeah, I could replace the steering wheel with handle bars, wear a helmet, and remove all the passenger seating, but how the heck is a car going to drive on two wheels??
