• Loading any MVC page fails with the error "An item with the same key has already been added."

  I am having an intermittent issue that is appearing on one server only, and is causing all MVC pages to fail to load with the error "An item with the same key has already been added." Restarting the application pool fixes the issue, but until then, loading any mvc page throws the following exception: Event code: 3005 Event message: An unhandled exception has occurred. Custom event details: As mentioned, it's every MVC action that throws this error until the app pool is restarted, and the error seems to be occurring in   Create custom component which contains Combobox and Datagrid. Application conations two button 1) Same Window and 2) New Window. (Label of two button) When you click on “Same Window” button your custom component should get added dynamically in your application. And when you click on “New Window” button your custom component should get open in different window (it should get shifted from application and should appear in Window component). Issue faced:- Clicking on Combobox, list is not getting open as change event doesn’t get fired in Native Window as it looses reference from main application. Issue with DataGrid in Native window (AIR). • DataGridEvent.COLUMN_STRETCH event get affected if try to open datagrid in Native Window. • DataGridEvent get fired but takes long time or even stuck while column stretch Note: Application is an Desktop Application. • How do I get a JComponent to resize after calling `setVisible(true)`?

  Our application displays a 2D view of our data (mainly maps) and then allows the user to change to a 3D view. The 2D and 3D views are generated by custom C++ code that is SWIG'ed into our Swing GUI and wrapped within a JComponent. These JComponents are then displayed within another parent JComponent. Our problem is that when we change from the 2D to the 3D view and then back to the 2D view, when we resize the window the 2D view does not get resized. The resize events don't get sent to the 2D view. Our application runs under Linux (Fedora 11). We're running Java version 1.6.0_12. Here is some sample code in which I've replaced the 2D view and 3D view with two 2 JButtons, that produces the same behaviour. • C# PrintPreviewDialog Modification possible?

  Currently, what I'm doing is this: Using the built-in .NET PrintPreviewDialog Attaching my own Click handler to the Print button, which allows for the user to select the printer before finally printing. This all WORKS, HOWEVER, the OnprintToolStripButtonClick event is still sending the document to the default printer BEFORE the user gets to choose the actual printer and click Print (which works, but they're getting an extra copy on the default printer first from the old Handler). Can I remove this built-in Click handler? I've tried the other methods mentioned on here in regards to using an EventHandlerList to remove the handlers, but it doesn't work for the built-in printing event.   ASP.NET MVC 2 app I have two actions on my controller (Toons): [GET] List [POST] Add App is running on IIS7 integration mode, so /Toons/List works fine. But when I do POST (that redirects to /Toons/List internally) it redirects (with 302 Object Moved) back to /Toons/Add. The problem goes away if I use .aspx hack (that works in IIS6/IIS7 classic mode). But without .aspx - GET work fine, but POST redirects me onto itself but with GET. What am I missing? I'm hosting with webhost4life.com and they did change IIS7 to integrated mode already. EDIT: The code works as expected using UltiDev Cassini server. EDIT: It turned out to be trailing-slash-in-URL issue. Somehow IIS7 doesn't route request properly if there is no slash at the end. EDET: Explanation of the behavior What happens is when I request (POST) /Toons/List (without trailing slash), IIS doesn't find the handler (I do not have knowledge to understand how exactly IIS does URL-to-handler mapping) and redirects the request (using 302 code) to /Toons/List/ (notice trailing slash). A browser, according to the HTTP specification, must redirect the request using same method (POST in this case), but instead it handles 302 as if it is 303 and issues GET request for the new URL. This is incorrect, but known behavior of most browsers. The solution is either to use .aspx-hack to make it unambiguous for IIS how to map requests to ASP.NET handler, or configure IIS to handle everything in the virtual directory using ASP.NET handler. Q: what is a better way to handle this?

• Handling mach exceptions in 64bit OS X application

  I have been able to register my own mach port to capture mach exceptions in my applications and it works beautifully when I target 32 bit. However when I target 64 bit, my exception handler catch_exception_raise() gets called but the array of exception codes that is passed to the handler are 32 bits wide. This is expected in a 32 bit build but not in 64 bit. In the case where I catch EXC_BAD_ACCESS the first code is the error number and the second code should be the address of the fault. Since the second code is 32 bits wide the high 32 bits of the 64 bit fault address is truncated. I found a flag in <mach/exception_types.h> I can pass in task_set_exception_ports() called MACH_EXCEPTION_CODES which from looking at the Darwin sources appears to control the size of the codes passed to the handler. It looks like it is meant to be ored with the behavior passed in to task_set_exception_ports(). However when I do this and trigger an exception, my mach port gets notified, I call exc_server() but my handler never gets called, and when the reply message is sent back to the kernel I get the default exception behavior. I am targeting the 10.6 SDK. I really wish apple would document this stuff better. Any one have any ideas?

Why does it spend so much time in tramp-sh-file-name-handler? I tried to advice a function tramp-sh-file-name-handler to store and return cached results but it does not work, probably this function has some side effects. Any ideas how to improve tramp performance? (I use emacs 23.1 under WindowsXP)

• Problem using custom HttpHandler to process requests for both .aspx and non-extension pages in IIS7

  I am trying to process both ".aspx" and non-extension page requests (i.e. both contact.aspx and /contact/) using a custom HttpHandler in IIS7. My handler works just fine in either one case or the other, but as soon as I try to process both cases, it only works for one. Please see Handlers snippet from my web.config below: If i keep only mapping to "*.aspx" then all .aspx requests are processed correctly, but obviously extensionless requests won't work: <add name="AllPages.ASPX" path="*.aspx" verb="*" type="Test.PageHandlerFactory, Test" preCondition="" /> If i change the mapping to "*" then all extensionless requests are processed correctly, but ".aspx" requests that should still be handled by this handler stop working. Note that i added the StaticFiles entry in order to process files that are on disk like images, css, js, etc. <add name="WebResource" path="WebResource.axd" verb="GET" type="System.Web.Handlers.AssemblyResourceLoader" /> <add name="StaticFiles" verb="GET,HEAD" path="*.*" type="System.Web.StaticFileHandler" resourceType="File" /> <add name="AllPages" path="*" verb="*" type="Test.PageHandlerFactory, Test" preCondition="" /> The crazy thing is that when i load an ".aspx" request (with the 2nd configuration shown) IIS7 gives a 404 not found error. The error also says that the request is processed by the StaticFiles handler. But I made sure to add resourceType="File" to the StaticFileHandler in order to avoid this. According to MS this means the request is only for "physical files on disk". Am i misreading/interpreting the "on disk" part? My .aspx file isn't on disk, that's why i want to use the handler in the first place.

• Execute code on assembly load

  I'm working on wrapper for some huge unmanaged library. Almost every of it's functions can call some error handler deeply inside. The default error handler writes error to console and calls abort() function. This behavior is undesirable for managed library, so I want to replace the default error handler with my own which will just throw some exception and let program continue normal execution after handling of this exception. The error handler must be changed before any of the wrapped functions will be called. The wrapper library is written in managed c++ with static linkage to wrapped library, so nothing like "a type with hundreds of dll imports" is present. I also can't find a single type which is used by everything inside wrapper library. So I can't solve that problem by defining static constructor in one single type which will execute code I need. I currently see two ways of solving that problem: Define some static method like Library.Initialize() which must be called one time by client before his code will use any part of the wrapper library. Find the most minimal subset of types which is used by every top-level function (I think the size of this subset will be something like 25-50 types) and add static constructors calling Library.Initialize (which will be internal in that scenario) to every of these types. I've read this and this questions, but they didn't helped me. Is there any proper ways of solving that problem? Maybe some nice hacks available?

  in my project there's a service that listens for changes in the connectivity. When wifi is switched off to on then it gets called. • Problem resizing loader after loading swf

  I'm using the following code to load an swf in a pure actionscript project (Flex Builder 3) _loader = new Loader(); _loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, Loader_Complete); _loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.INIT, Loader_Init); var request:URLRequest = new URLRequest("Skins/TestSkin.swf"); _loader.load(request); this.addChild(_loader); This works okay and displays the swf on the stage (500x375 for some reason - not sure why, TestSkin.swf is a flex app with no defined width and height) However, when I try to scale the swf so that it will fill the stage, I have problems. I have tried: Setting _loader.width and _loader.height in my Loader_Complete handler Setting _loader.width and _loader.height in my Loader_Init handler Setting _loader.content.width and loader.content.height in my Loader_Complete handler Setting _loader.content.width and loader.content.height in my Loader_Init handler I have seen examples online where people say these work for them but whenever I set width or height in any of these ways, the loaded swf is simply not displayed at all. Any idea what could be causing this? What is the correct way to resize an swf that has been loaded with a Loader object?
