  hello everyone. i am using slideshow2 by Aeron Glemann in a website.Does in generate the thumbnails or do i have to provide them?the images iam showing are coming from a cloud, and are passed to the slideshow in an array.the thumbs exist in the cloud. how can i pass them in the array if the show cannot create them? i have used the replace parameter with regex but it shows as thumbnails the full image and nothing happens when i alter the css properties for the thumbnails. the images are displayed. here is the line for the show creation: var myShow = new Slideshow('show', eval(res.value), { controller: true, height: 350,overlap: false, resize: false, hu: '',replace:[/^\S+.(gif|jpg|jpeg|png)$/,'t$1'],thumbnails: true, width: 600}); the value object contains the images from the cloud in format shown below: ['xx.jpg','yy.png',....] thank you very much for your time.

  Hi, I am using SBCL with slime, and have the following code: (swank::eval-in-emacs '(with-current-buffer (slime-repl-buffer) (insert (propertize "foo" 'font-lock-face '(:foreground "red"))))) (print "here is some text") In general if I try to execute anything with swank:: prefixed to it emacs will give a security error, and this particular one tells me I need to set slime-enable-evaluate-in-emacs to true. Where is this value? I haven't been able to find a slime or swank config. & settings file. Thanks much.

My problem is I want user create template from the admin panel, it means all template will be stored into database including all Dwoo variable and functions.My questions: Is it possible to load dwoo template from database? How to parse dwoo variable or function from database? • Are JSF 2.x ViewScoped Beans Thread Safe?

  I've been googling for a couple hours on this issue to no eval. WELD docs and the CDI spec are pretty clear regarding thread safety of the scopes provided. For example: Application Scope - not safe Session Scope - not safe Request Scope - safe, always bound to a single thread Conversation Scope - safe (due to the WELD proxy serializing access from multiple request threads) I can't find anything on the View Scope defined by JSF 2.x. It is in roughly the same bucket as the Conversation Scope in that it is very possible for multiple requests to hit the scope concurrently despite it being bound to a single view / user. What I don't know is if the JSF implementation serializes access to the bean from multiple requests. Anyone have knowledge of the spec or of the Morraja/MyFaces implementations that could clear this up?

  I'm calling a web service and returning the following data in JSON format: ["OrderNumber":"12345","CustomerId":"555"] In my web service success method, I'm trying to parse both: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "MyService.asmx/ServiceName", data: "{}", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(msg) { var data = msg.d; var rtn = ""; $.each(data, function(list) { rtn = rtn + this.OrderNumber + ", " + this.CustomerId + "<br/>"; } rtn = rtn + "<br/>" + data; $("#test").html(rtn); } }); but I'm getting a bunch of "undefined, undefined" rows followed by the correct JSON string. Any idea why? I've tried using the eval() method but that didn't help as I got some error message talking about ']' being expected.

• Creating Mock object of Interface with type-hint in method fails on PHPUnit

  I created the following interface: <?php interface Action { public function execute(\requests\Request $request, array $params); } Then I try to make a Mock object of this interface with PHPUnit 3.4, but I get the following error: Fatal error: Declaration of Mock_Action_b389c0b1::execute() must be compatible with that of Action::execute() in D:\Xampp\xampp\php\PEAR\PHPUnit\Framework\TestCase.php(1121) : eval()'d code on line 2 I looked through the stack trace I got from PHPUnit and found that it creates a Mock object that implements the interface Action, but creates the execute method in the following way: <?php public function execute($request, array $params) As you can see, PHPUnit takes over the array type-hint, but forgets about \requests\Request. Which obviously leads to an error. Does anyone knows a workaround for this error? I also tried it without namespaces, but I still get the same error.

  I'm trying to export a bunch of org mode files to PDF using emacs in batch mode. So far, only export to html seems to work. U:\tmpd:\programs\emacs-23.1\bin\emacs.exe -batch --visit=Changelog.org -eval "(org-export-as-pdf \"Changelog.pdf\")" OVERVIEW Exporting to PDF... Exporting to LaTeX... Wrong type argument: number-or-marker-p, "Changelog.pdf" Any ideas on how to export to PDF? My org-mode version is 6.35i with on Emacs 23.1. I'm on WinXP.

The problem is, some of my data contains commas, and therefore is split by the autocomplete helper. Heres my code. Should I be using regex or should I go with a completely different approach?

• Passing more than one argument in asp.net button in gridview

  I have a TemplateField column in a gridview with a button inside of it. There is NO key value (surely that was not designed by me) , but in the other hand there aren't redundancies when comparing each single column, because they are events, and there is "starting date" and "ending date" of something that could not happen twice at the same time. I've already figured selecting with these values and all, but I just want the button to pass about five arguments to a given function. I've tested: <asp:Button CommandArgument='<%# Eval("day")%>' ID="Button2" runat="server" Text="Button" /> And it works properly, the day of the clicked row is passed, and could be retrieved through: e.CommandArgument.ToString(); in the GridView_RowCommand handler. How do I pass more than one argument? I've thought about concatenating with a separating character (wouldn't be that bad) but besides not knowing how to do it yet (didn't want to invest in a poor solution) I want a smarter one.

  I am having an issue with setting the background-image of a #x to the background image of #y. Correct me if I am wrong but I think you would do this in a simple case by saying $('#x').css('background-image',$('#y').css('background-image')); The problem is that when y was initially set up, it was set up like this: <div id='y' style='background-image: url(./randomcolor.php?ibase=<?php echo $entity->name; ?>) .... So when it does it, it is getting the URL of the generator, and javascript is just regarding that as a string. Do I have to do an ajax get here, or is there some kind of eval I could use.

  When I see the call System.Windows.Browser.HtmlPage.Window.Eval (which is evil) in ReportErrorToDOM (in App.xaml.cs) this shows me that it has no relationship to onSilverlightError. So what kind of JavaScript-based scenario calls onSilverlightError? When will onSilverlightError definitely be needed? What are Silverlight error-handling conventions in general? This is a very important comment by Erik Monk but needs more detail: There are 2 kinds of terminal errors in Silverlight. 1) Managed errors (hit the managed Application_UnhandledException method). Note that some errors may not even get to this point. If the managed infrastructure can't be loaded for some reason (out of memory error maybe...), you won't get this kind of error. Still, if you can get it, you can use a web service (or the CLOG project) to communicate it back to the server. 2) Javascript errors.

And the reason is that the "escape" JavaScript function was used. I was not able to "unescape" these strings in Python yet. I tried to use "eval", "decode", "re.sub" and others, but without success. So please, which function can I use to get it right?

• How can Perl's XML::Simple ignore HTML embedded in XML?

  I have an XML file that I am pulling from the web and parsing. One of the items in the XML is a 'content' value that has HTML. I am using XML::Simple::XMLin to parse the file like so: $xml= eval { $data->XMLin($xmldata, forcearray => 1, suppressempty=> +'') }; When I use Data::Dumper to dump the hash, I discovered that SimpleXML is parsing the HTML into the hash tree: 'content' = { 'div' = [ { 'xmlns' = 'http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml', 'p' = [ { 'a' = [ { 'href' = 'http://miamiherald.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83451b26169e20133ec6f4491970b-pi', 'style' = 'FLOAT: left', 'img' = [ etc..... This is not what I want. I want to just grab content inside of this entry. How do I do this?

• JSF 2 Scriptmanager style functionality

  I need to be able to add some javascript to all ajax postback responses (PartialViewContext.isAjaxRequest == true) but I am not succeeding with any implementation I try. I have tried implementing a PhaseListener and adding my script using PartialResponseWriter.insert* to add eval blocks, as well as trying to add the script by creating a script element. (Results in CDATA cannot nest, or just invalid XML) I have tried decorating PartialViewContextFactory to override the PartialViewContext.processPartial and add the script after the wrapped instance has processed it... How should I go about adding sripts to an Ajax response? Something similar to what .NET has with Scriptmanager.registerClientScriptBlock preferably. Thank you

• QGrid display default "loading" message when updating a table / on custom update

  I have a case where I need to update a jqgrid based on some search criteria which the user selects. I can get the data to update , but I would want the loading message to show while the new data is being fetched. Can someone please let me know how to get that working ? But if I remove ?action=something, I get all the data. Am I doing something wrong?

• JSON in an AJAX request

  I have a PHP API I'm working with that outputs everything as JSON. I need to call one of the API methods and parse it out using an AJAX request. I am using jQuery (though it shouldn't matter). When I make the request it errors out with a "parsererror" as the textStatus and a "Syntax Error: invalid label" when I make the request. • Looking for a method to replace a string with a hyperlink

  I have a usercontrol in an asp web forms application that I am working on in C#. I am binding to a repeater and outputting a field of information, named "Text", using the following syntax: <%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Text") %> I am looking for a method that will allow my to search for a keyword within the string that is returned from above, and replace that string with a hyperlink such as <a href="www.anysite.com/keyword">keyword</a>. I'm not very familer with user controls and getting data back in this manner so I am looking for advice on how this might be best handled. Thanks!

  I want to be able to bring up an interactive python terminal from my python application. Some, but not all, variables in my program needs to be exposed to the interpreter. Currently I use a sub-classed and modified QPlainTextEdit and route all "commands" there to eval or exec, and keep track of a separate namespace in a dict.   I use $.(ajax) function extensively in my app to call ASP.net web services. I would like to write a wrapper in order to centralize all the ajax calls. I found few simple solutions, but none address an issue of passing parameters to delegates, for example, if i have: $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "http://localhost/TemplateWebService/TemplateWebService/Service.asmx/GetFoobar", data: jsonText, contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(response) { var results = (typeof response.d) == 'string' ? eval('(' + response.d + ')') : response.d; OnSuccess(results, someOtherParam1, someOtherParam2); }, error: function(xhr, status, error) { OnError(); } }); The wrapper to this call would have to have the way to pass someOtherParam1, someOtherParam2 to the OnSuccess delegate...Aside from packing the variables into a generic array, I can't think of other solutions. How did you guys address this issue?

  I am attempting to test a web service interface class using PHPUnit. Basically, this class makes calls to a SoapClient object. I am attempting to test this class in PHPUnit using the "getMockFromWsdl" method described here: http://www.phpunit.de/manual/current/en/test-doubles.html#test-doubles.stubbing-and-mocking-web-services However, since I want to test multiple methods from this same class, every time I setup the object, I also have to setup the mock WSDL SoapClient object. This is causing a fatal error to be thrown: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class xxxx in C:\web\php5\PEAR\PHPUnit\Framework\TestCase.php(1227) : eval()'d code on line 15 How can I use the same mock object across multiple tests without having to regenerate it off the WSDL each time? That seems to be the problem.

  Hello, I have a WCF service that accepts requests from JQuery. Currently, I can access this service. However, the parameter value is always null.
