  • Creating a consumer of a Web Service WSDL/SOAP

    - by Azzi
    I am attempting to write a Windows Desktop App (using WCF) that is a consumer of a web service. The application: Sends a SOAP message to a British Government Server to get an authentication token based on the arugments passed Retrieves a response from that server in the form of a string which contains the authentication token. I have a template of the SOAP message from the British Government, and a WSDL file for the service. What I have tried Add a service reference using the WSDL file. I received the following error: URI formats are not supported. Add a Web Reference using the URL of the service. I received the following error: The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method Not Allowed. Send the SOAP request using a POST. The Call to GetResponse() threw a 500 External Server Error. NOTE: I am using VS 2005 WSDL: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <definitions xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:conv="http://www.openuri.org/2002/04/soap/conversation/" xmlns:cw="http://www.openuri.org/2002/04/wsdl/conversation/" xmlns:http="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/http/" xmlns:jms="http://www.openuri.org/2002/04/wsdl/jms/" xmlns:mime="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/mime/" xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:s1="https://tpvs.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" targetNamespace="https://tpvs.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication"> <types> <s:schema elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="https://tpvs.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication" xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="https://tpvs.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication"> <s:element name="DPSrequestToken"> <s:complexType> <s:sequence> <s:element name="version" type="s:int"/> <s:element name="vendorID" type="s:string" minOccurs="0"/> </s:sequence> </s:complexType> </s:element> <s:element name="DPSrequestTokenResponse"> <s:complexType> <s:sequence> <s:element name="DPSrequestTokenResult" type="s:string" minOccurs="0"/> </s:sequence> </s:complexType> </s:element> </s:schema> </types> <message name="DPSrequestTokenSoapIn"> <part name="parameters" element="s1:DPSrequestToken"/> </message> <message name="DPSrequestTokenSoapOut"> <part name="parameters" element="s1:DPSrequestTokenResponse"/> </message> <portType name="dpsauthenticationSoap"> <operation name="DPSrequestToken"> <input message="s1:DPSrequestTokenSoapIn"/> <output message="s1:DPSrequestTokenSoapOut"/> </operation> </portType> <binding name="dpsauthenticationSoap" type="s1:dpsauthenticationSoap"> <soap:binding style="document" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/> <operation name="DPSrequestToken"> <soap:operation soapAction="https://tpvs.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication/DPSrequestToken" style="document"/> <input> <soap:body use="literal"/> </input> <output> <soap:body use="literal"/> </output> </operation> </binding> <service name="dpsauthentication"> <port name="dpsauthenticationSoap" binding="s1:dpsauthenticationSoap"> <soap:address location="https://dps.ws.hmrc.gov.uk/dpsauthentication/service"/> </port> </service> </definitions> SOAP: <!-- v1.1 30/11/2007 --> <!-- 24/10/2011 - minor change to remove duplicated text from <Envelope> element.   • InstallShield-2009: Basic MSI: How to run a custom action after user cancels uninstall (rollback)

    - by Samir
    InstallShield-2009 Premier: Basic msi project: What to do when I want a custom action to run when user clicks cancel button during uninstall? I put a custom action (a C# exe which would just show a message box) with Action Type: Type: Launch an executable Location: Stored in the Binary table Action Parameters: Source: exe path Target: a b c (doesn't matter, I don't need it) Additional Options: Return Processing: Synchronous (Check exit code) Run Only During Path Uninstall: unchecked Respond Options: In-Script Execution: Rollback Execution in System Context Executing Scheduling: disabled Insert into Sequence: Install UI-Sequence: <Absent from sequence> Install Execute Sequence: After InstallServices (what should I set here?) Install Execute Condition: (do I need to set? I left it blank) but it didn't fire the message box when I canceled the uninstall. How?

  • Ruby on Rails deployment, on "thin" server with lot of attachments

    - by Horace Ho
    A lot of PDFs are stored inside MySQL as a BLOB field for each PDF file. The average file size is 500K each. The Rails app will stream the :binary data as file downloads, where there is a user click on the download link. Assume there is a maximum of 5 users downloading 5 PDFs concurrently, what kind of deployment setup parameters I should be aware of? e.g. for the case of thin: thin start --servers 3 whether --servers 3 is good enough (or 5 or more is needed) for the above example? The 2nd question is whether 'thin' a capable solution? Thanks!

  • Is there any algorithm for finding LINES by PIXEL COLORS on picture?

    - by Ole Jak
    So I have Image like this I want to get something like this (I hevent drawn all lines I want but I hope you can get my idea) I need algorithm for finding all straight lines on it by just reading colors of pixels. No hard math, no Haar, no Hough. Some algorithm which would be based on points colors. I want to give to algorithm parameters like min line length and max line distortion. I want to get relative to picture pixel coords start and end points of lines. So I need algorithm for finding straight lines of different colors on picture. Algorithm which would be based on idea of image of different colors and Lines of static colors. Yes - such algorithm will not work for images with lots of shadows and lights. But It willl probably be fast (I hope so). Is there any such algorithm?

  • How to use Winmerge with Git Extensions?

    - by sebastiaan
    I'm using Git Extensions and it pre-installs and sets up KDiff as the diff tool to solve merge conflicts. I'm very fond of Winmerge though and would like to replace KDiff with Winmerge. In the Git Extensions settings, there are settings to change the Mergetool, but I can't seem to figure out what syntax I should use and why. There seem to be 4 variables: $BASE, $LOCAL, $REMOTE, $MERGED. It seems that I should pass these to WinMergeU.exe, but with which command line parameters? I've tried to search for this a few times, but there is no answer that actually seems to work.

  • MSBuild task to execute an external MSBuild file

    - by Slace
    I'm trying to set up a MSBuild file which will invoke another MSBuild file and I'm wondering what's the best way to achieve this. We're using it in the scenario of where a build server downloads a MSBuild file which then depending on the parameters it'll execute the appropriate 2nd file. I know I can just use the <Exec Command="msbuild.exe ..." /> task, but that seems to be a bit of a hacky way to do it. Is there an easier way to use MSBuild to execute another MSBuild file?

  • Need explanation for this boost::asio timer example

    - by ApplePieIsGood
    There is a line in the 3rd tutorial on Boost asio that shows how to renew a timer and yet prevent there from being drift. The line is the following: t->expires_at(t->expires_at() + boost::posix_time::seconds(1)); Maybe it's me but I wasn't able to find documentation on the 2nd usage of expires_at(), with no parameters. expires_at(x) sets the new expiration, cancelling any pending completion handlers. So presumably expires_at() does what, return time of the last expiry? So by adding one second, if there should be some number of ms, say n ms, then it will in essence be "subtracted" from the next expiry since the time is being accounted for? What happens then if the time it takes to perform this handler is greater than 1 second in this example? Does it fire immediately?

  • Symfony/Doctrine/SfGuardPlugin: Redirect to requested page (route), and not referrer

    - by Prasad
    I want to be able to take the user to the requested page after login, but this does not happen with sfGuard. ** My Register action requires SignIn ;) ** On the listing page [http://cim/frontend_dev.php/] - user clicks the 'Register' link [@register = register/index] - user is taken to 'Signin' page provided by sfGuard - after sign-in, user is taken back to the Listing page (instead of Register) This is quite annoying! But logical, because the referrer is the listing page. How can I change logic to make @register the referrer? Pl help. thanks public function executeSignin($request) { $user = $this->getUser(); $this->logMessage('Signin>>> form - isAuth() '.$user->isAuthenticated(), 'info'); if ($user->isAuthenticated()) { $this->getUser()->setAttribute('tenant', $this->getUser()->getGuardUser()->sfuser->Tenant->getID()); return $this->redirect($user->getReferer($request->getReferer())); } $class = sfConfig::get('app_sf_guard_plugin_signin_form', 'sfGuardFormSignin'); $this->form = new $class(); $referer = $user->getReferer($request->getReferer()); $this->logMessage('Signin>>> referer: '.$referer, 'info'); $this->logMessage('Signin>>> referer: '.$request->getReferer(), 'info'); if ($request->isMethod('post')) { $this->form->bind($request->getParameter('signin')); if ($this->form->isValid()) { $values = $this->form->getValues(); $this->getUser()->signin($values['user'], array_key_exists('remember', $values) ? • ASP.NET MVC Html.Display() using ViewData?

    - by JK
    When I use Html.DisplayFor() using a property of the model, it comes out nicely with both a label for the property name and a textbox or label with the property value: Html.DisplayFor(model => model.FirstName) // renders as First Name: Joe Smith But if I try to use the same for something that is in ViewData, it doesn't seem to have any way to specify the text that will be used in the label in the rendered html: Html.Display(ViewData["something"].ToString()) // renders as (no label) something The other Html.Display() parameters don't look helpful: Html.Display(ViewData["something"].ToString(), "TemplateName", "HtmlElementId", {additionalData}) It looks like the only place I might pass the label is with the additionalData param, but I haven't found any examples or docs on how to do this.

  • Spark-View-Engine with ASP.NET MVC2

    - by Ben
    How do you modify a ASP.NET MVC 2.0 project to work with the Spark View Engine? I tried like described here: http://dotnetslackers.com/articles/aspnet/installing-the-spark-view-engine-into-asp-net-mvc-2-preview-2.aspx But somehow it still tries to route to .aspx files. Here the code of my global.asax: public class MvcApplication : System.Web.HttpApplication { public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes) { routes.IgnoreRoute("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}"); routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = "" } // Parameter defaults ); } protected void Application_Start() { SparkViewFactory svf = new SparkViewFactory(); PrecompileViews(svf); AreaRegistration.RegisterAllAreas(); RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes); } public static void PrecompileViews(SparkViewFactory svf) { var controllerFactory = svf; var viewFactory = new SparkViewFactory(controllerFactory.Settings); var batch = new SparkBatchDescriptor(); batch .For<HomeController>() .For<AccountController>(); viewFactory.Precompile(batch); } } }

  • Sending a Soap Header with a WSDL Soap Request with PHP

    - by Josh Smeaton
    I'm extremely new to SOAP and I'm trying to implement a quick test client in PHP that consumes a ASP.NET web service. The web service relies on a Soap Header that contains authorization parameters. Is it possible to send the auth header along with a soap request when using WSDL? My code: php $service = new SoapClient("http://localhost:16840/CTI.ConfigStack.WS/ATeamService.asmx?WSDL"); $service->AddPendingUsers($users, 3); // Example webservice [SoapHeader("AuthorisationHeader")] [WebMethod] public void AddPendingUsers(List<PendingUser> users, int templateUserId) { ateamService.AddPendingUsers(users, templateUserId, AuthorisationHeader.UserId); } How would the auth header be passed in this context? Or will I need to do a low lever __soapCall() to pass in the header? Also, am I invoking the correct soap call within PHP?

  • QLogic QLE8152 won't link up with a fiber loop

    - by Mike Pennington
    I have a Dell R710 running Debian Linux 6.0 (Squeeze). I installed a QLogic QLE8152 CNA in the PCI-E riser today and I have been trying to get the CNA's ethernet layer to come up after I put a fiber loop on it; I also scoped it with a light meter, and the SFP+ transceiver is getting the correct amount of light. The whole time I have been working on this problem, the lights on the CNA are blinking green at a rate of about 1 flash every 3 seconds. When I plug the fiber into a Juniper EX4500 10GE in a rack next to it, the Juniper's link stays down as well. I have to confess that this is my first wrangling with a CNA, so perhaps I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, but here is what I have found so far... First the basics... • jQuery UI sortable scroll helper element offset Firefox issue

    - by James
    I have a problem with a jQuery UI 1.7.2 sortable list in Firefox 3.6, IE7-8 work fine. When I'm scrolled down a bit, the helper element seems to have an offset of the same height that I'm scrolled down from the mouse pointer which makes it impossible to see which item you originally started dragging. How do I fix this or work around the issue? If there is no fix what is a really good alternative drag-able plugin? Here are my initialization parameters for the sortable. $("#sortable").sortable( {placeholder: 'ui-state-highlight' } ); $("#sortable").disableSelection();

  • C Sharp -- PInvokeStackImbalance detected on a well documented function?

    - by Aaron Hammond
    Here is my code for a ClickMouse() function: [DllImport("user32.dll", CharSet = CharSet.Auto, CallingConvention = CallingConvention.StdCall)] public static extern void mouse_event(long dwFlags, long dx, long dy, long cButtons, long dwExtraInfo); private const long MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN = 0x02; private const long MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP = 0x04; private const long MOUSEEVENTF_RIGHTDOWN = 0x08; private const long MOUSEEVENTF_RIGHTUP = 0x10; private void ClickMouse() { long X = Cursor.Position.X; long Y = Cursor.Position.Y; mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN | MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP, X, Y, 0, 0); } For some reason, when my program comes to this code, it throws this error message: PInvokeStackImbalance was detected Message: A call to PInvoke function 'WindowsFormsApplication1!WindowsFormsApplication1.Form1::mouse_event' has unbalanced the stack. This is likely because the managed PInvoke signature does not match the unmanaged target signature. Check that the calling convention and parameters of the PInvoke signature match the target unmanaged signature. Please help?

  • creating Linq to sqlite dbml from DbLinq source code

    - by Veer
    Hi All, I tried to create linq-to-sqlite dbml using DbLinq but in vain. Each time I get different type of errors. May be I'm somewhere wrong. Can anyone tell me the step by step procedure to create the dbml file from the Dblinq source code. Edit: Steps I Followed: I downloaded the source file from this link. Edited the "run_sqliteMetal.bat" file in \\DbLinq-0.19\src\DbMetal folder as 'DbMetal.exe -database:myDb.db3 -namespace:myNS -code:myCode.cs' -dbml:myDbml.dbml Tried to run the DbMetal project file to produce the executable but there was a runtime error since Options object in Parameters.cs was null. Hence downloaded the readymade exe file from this location Copied it into the \DbLinq-0.19\src\DbMetal folder Executed the "run_sqliteMetal.bat" file I got a blank screen and Windows Error Msg "DbLinq has stopped Working" Any help? Thanks in advance, Veer

  • How to escape % in roxygen literate programming?

    - by Karsten W.
    The default value of a parameter of my function contains a "%". This seems to be a problem for roxygen, it produces a lot of warnings and R CMD check fails when trying to build latex documentation. How can I make this function (and its documentation) work? • ASP.NET MVC Pass mutiple params from getJson to controller

    - by andyJ
    Hi, I am making a call to a controller action in javascript using the getJson method. I need to pass two parameters to my action method on the controller, but I am struggling to do so. I do not fully understand the routing tables and not sure if this is what I need to use to get this working. Please see example below of what I am trying to do. var action = "<%=Url.Content('~/Postcode/GetAddressResults/')%>" + $get("Premise").value + "/" + $get("SearchPostcode").value $.getJSON(action, null, function(data) { $("#AddressDropDown").fillSelect(data); }); This is my route which I don't understand how to make use of... routes.MapRoute( "postcode", "Postcode/GetAddressResults/{premise}/{postcode}", new { controller = "Motor", action = "GetAddressResults", premise = "", postcode = "" });

  • psexec failing with return code 122 when used from Windows service

    - by Jeremy McGee
    I've written a WCF service as a wrapper around a C# utility we've written that uses the SysInternals psexec utility to run jobs on a remote system. psexec is invoked from C# with command-line parameters that specify the domain, user and password to use. All works fine when I invoke the C# utility from PowerShell locally. However, when I run the utility from the WCF service we see a return code of 122, which corresponds to (?) "The data area passed to a system call is too small". psexec is running against Windows Server 2008. The credentials I'm passing are local administrator, in the same domain as the machine that hosts the service wrapping the utility.

  • Custom form designer, move/resize controls using WinAPI

    - by jonny
    I have to fix some problems and enchance form designer written long ago for a database project. In Design Panel class code I encountered these lines private void DesignPanel_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) { if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left) { (sender as Control).Capture = false; switch (FMousePosition) { case MousePosition.mpNone: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF009, 0); break;// Move case MousePosition.mpRightBottom: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF008, 0); break;//RB case MousePosition.mpLeftBottom: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF007, 0); // ... here are similar cases ... case MousePosition.mpLeft: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF001, 0); break;//L } } } FMousePosition indicates whether mouse was over any edge of selected control. What confusing me is these windows messages: it seems there is no documentation on WM_SYSCOMMAND with parameters 0xF001-0xF009 (maybe it starts some kind of 'drag/resize sequence'). Any ideas? If my suggestion is right, then how can I cancel these sequences?

    I'm trying to upload some pictures using php cURL on a classified ad website .I think that I set all the parameters properly but I see that there is a kind of redirect after I post the picture . • Axis/SOAP service styles and interoperability

    - by Thilo
    There are four "styles" of service in Axis. RPC services use the SOAP RPC conventions, and also the SOAP "section 5" encoding. Document services do not use any encoding (so in particular, you won't see multiref object serialization or SOAP-style arrays on the wire) but DO still do XML<-Java databinding. Wrapped services are just like document services, except that rather than binding the entire SOAP body into one big structure, they "unwrap" it into individual parameters. Message services receive and return arbitrary XML in the SOAP Envelope without any type mapping / data binding. If you want to work with the raw XML of the incoming and outgoing SOAP Envelopes, write a message service. So, if I use anything else except the first option(SOAP RPC Section 5), how does this impact interoperability? If someone says they want a SOAP service (including WSDL), does this mean that SOAP RPC conventions are expected? Can the other three styles still be used when the other end is not implemented with Axis?

  • Problem sub-total Matrix with rdlc report in vb.NET

    - by Keven
    Hi everyone, I have a matrix and I need to add the money earned this year and past years. However, I must remove the money spent in past years. I must have the separate amount per year and the total of these amounts. This is what gives my matrix: Year = Fields!Year.value =formatnumber((sum(Fields!Results.Value))-(sum(iif( Fields!Year.value & Parameters!choosedYear.Value, Fields!Moneyspent.value,0))), 2) & "$" However, the subtotal gives me an error. What should I do? P.S.: I already found that the subtotal gives me an error because it's not in the scope of the rowgroup1, but is there a way to get the scope in the subtotal? or can anybody find another way to do it?

  • C# System.Data.SQLite Designer Code

    - by Nathan
    I've been messing around with the SQLite Designer in Visual Studio 2008 and I have noticed that when I use the generated Insert/Update statements they run extremely slow. Example: I have a data table with four columns and 5700 rows it took ~5 mins to insert the data into the database table However, I wrote my own database connection and insert methods using parameters and a single transaction and the same 5700 rows were inserted in under 1 second. Why is the generated code so slow and what is benefit to even using it? Thanks. Nathan
