    Hello all, How do I match and get the flash vars on a HTML page?     Hello. Let's say I have a link in "index.php", when I click on that link, it loads, via ajax, a content from a page "content.php" into a div element in "index.php", that has an id of "#content". That content in "content.php" has large images. I want to display an image loader, say "ajax-loader.gif", instead of those large images, until the images are downloaded by client. ( I know how to have an image loader .gif for the images on "index.php". ) How can I achieve this?

    Here is my example: I have a a website that contains the following: <body> Jim Nebraska zipcode 65437 Tony lives in California his zipcode is 98708 </body> I would like to be able to search for zip codes on the page and wrap them with hyperlinks like: <body> Jim Nebraska zipcode <a href="/65437.htm">65437</a> Tony lives in California his zipcode is <a href="/65437.htm">98708</a> </body> Could I use a regex selector to find the string and then wrap the string, or replace it with the new hyperlink?     I'm using the MVVM pattern to create a WPF standalone application. My program compiles in Visual Studio 2008, but I frequently get warnings in the editor for my DataTemplates. In my MainWindow.xaml, I've defined the following DataTemplate: <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type ViewModels:TagViewModel}"> <Views:TagView /> </DataTemplate> Where "TagView" is derived from a Page, rather than an ordinary UserControl. This causes the following message to appear every time I reload the designer in Visual Studio: "Could not create an instance of type 'TagView'. Yet the solution compiles fine and the program seems to work properly. Is this a bug in the Visual Studio 2008 editor? Or am I doing something wrong?

I have many similar methods in a servlet. And I have many servlets too. If I want to disable cache throughout the application, what should I do?   • Filtering custom fields on wordpress admin page

    I'm currently working on a wordpress 2.9.2 plugin (my first) that creates additional custom fields that will later be read from the template. The plugin adds an additional meta box to the "Edit Post" screen which is responsible for manipulating these values. My problem is that the custom fields generated by the plugin also show up in the "Custom Fields" box. Ideally I would like for the custom fields generated by the plugin to be managed separately from any other custom fields for that same post/page. Is there a way that I can filter fields specific to my plugin to prevent them from being displayed in the "Custom Fields" box? I have yet to locate any action or filter that will let me capture and manipulate those values before they are rendered on "Edit Post".

I know using @media print in CSS, PDF based solution or iTextSharp but they are not really easy (except @media print) but alignment is little tricky if receipt contains barcodes or if I have to format for A5 etc., Is there anything new in HTML5 which will support this? I would like to print receipts from a Django based webapplication. Any tips? Thanks.

    Hi, I want to display a table and a image side by side. i.e Left side the image and right side the table. I want this because the image is the reference image for the data present in the table. I want that output in pdf. So I am using QTextDocument, QTextCursor and QPrinter to get the output in pdf. So how it is possible to display the image and table in QtextDocument i.e within a single page of the pdf? I am using Qt 4.5.3 and Windows Xp. Any pointers regarding this are welcome.

    Hello, I was searching for a way of detecting in my C# code if the page had been refreshed (f5). First I don’t know if a jQuery/JavaScript solution would be better than a fully C# ASP.Net. So... the first question would be: What would make you choose one over the other? And the third, and most important part, is if someone would help me with this. Some good tutorial, or article… anything. I tried some solutions out there… but maybe, because of my lack of knowledge they didn’t work. Thanks in advance.

I've used response.redirect("Thankyou.aspx") a lot in the past I've also used something like this for hiding form controls and outputting a message: outResult.Attributes.Remove("style") outResult.Attributes.Add("style", "display:block;") outEntry.Attributes.Remove("style") outEntry.Attributes.Add("style", "display:none;") For the above you have to consider post backs that may occur if the user click refresh though. Does anybody have a better option? thanks!

AuthName "Myfolder" AuthType Basic AuthUserFile url/protect/.htpasswd Require valid-user Also created a .htpassword file which contain username:password When I run my URL http://localhost/url/protect, I got a pop up asking username and password, I entered username as username and password as password. After that I got an error page "server error 500" "The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster." Why this happened?. Any thing wrong here? Anything needs to see my pages under the folder. Please give me the answer.

  • Make jQuery-ui draggable handle cover entire page

    What would be the best way to make an element draggable when clicking anywhere in the window? Would I have to use a container <div> that covers the whole window? I tried making the body draggable but that didn't work. The problem with using a container <div> is that it moves and therefore doesn't cover the whole of the screen any more after it has been dragged. What about making a really vast container <div> that spans a large number of pixels in every direction so you would never get to the edge of it. Is that a bad idea? The idea (simplified) is to have a page with a square in the middle that can be dragged by dragging any part of the window. Here's a wonderfully unnecessary mockup :)

    I have created a Web Control in ASP for use in integrating with Telligent CommunityServer. The control is written in ASP with some 10 lines of C# backend for controlling visibility of the UI elements based on permissions, but I'd say 90% of the functionality is straight-up Javascript. The control works beautifully, until you drop two instances of the Control on the same page--since they reference the exact same Javascript functions, only one control works. How can I take this functionality that I have, this 1200 lines of Javascript, and make it so that each instance of the control can reference its each unique instance of Javascript?

    I'm hitting a wall here while trying to access items from Magento on an external page (same server, same domain, etc, etc). I want to see if the user is logged into Magento before showing them certain parts on the site. Keep in mind that this code exists outside of Magento. Mage::app("default"); Mage::getSingleton("core/session", array("name" = "frontend")); if (empty($session)) { $session = Mage::getSingleton("customer/session"); } if($session-isLoggedIn()) echo "hi"; $cart = Mage::helper('checkout/cart')-getCart()-getItemsCount(); echo $cart; $cart returns 0, where I definitely have products in my cart. isLoggedIn() also returns false. What am I doing wrong here? Is there an option in Magento that I need to turn on or off to be able to access this information outside of Magento?

  • WordPress MU: Login from main page but not individual blogs

    I recently upgraded to WPMU 2.8.6 and ever since, my users can't log in on their individual blogs, but they can log in from the main page. My site is at blogs.mtwp.net (we're a school district). So if a user goes to blogs.mtwp.net/BLOGNAME/wp-login.php, their password is rejected. If they go toblogs.mtwp.net/wp-login.php, they can log in and get to the dashboard from there. But it's not all users. Site admins can get in just fine. We're using wpDirAuth 1.4 if that makes a difference. Honestly, I'm stumped. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

  • My ASP.NET page is making postback on web server and not on local host

    I have created a website in ASP.NET = www.vif-tech.com/BidsOnline When I am running it on Localhost using Visual Studio 2008, its running perfectly without any postback because I am using Ajax Update Panels (where data is changing constantly). But when I am running from my web server i.e. www.vif-tech.com/BidsOnline, its making postbacks every seconds. Even I tried changing connection string on my localhost and tried connecting to main database (not on my localhost), it's still making postbacks. Is there some error in my DB or page ?
