    Hi, i have to create a bat file that does this: 1 - If "C:\myprogram\sync\data.handler" exists, exit; 2 - If "C:\myprogram\html\data.sql" doesn't exists, exit; 3 - In "C:\myprogram\sync\" delete all files and folders except ('test','test3' and 'test2') 4 - Copy "C:\myprogram\html\data.sql" to "C:\myprogram\sync\" 5 - Call other bat file w/ option "sync.bat myprogram.ini". If it was in bash enviroment it was easy for me, but i don't know how to test if a file or folder exists and if it is a file or folder :/ Thanks

    Hi, I'm trying to add some code in a presentation made with LaTex. I used beamer, added some frames without problems but once I add the listing, I can't compile the presentation anymore. \begin{frame}{Code} \begin{lstlisting} Sample Code \end{lstlisting} \end{frame} The error I pdflatex gave me is: Package Listings Warning: Text dropped after begin of listing on input line 80.     Hi everyone, I have a long NSString in which I m trying to replace special characters. Part of my string looks like this: "veau (c\u00f4telette)","veau (filet)","agneau (gigot)","agneau (c\u00f4telette)","b*\u0153*uf (hach\u00e9)","porc (hach\u00e9)" I would like to replace all the \u0153 with "oe". I ve tried: [response stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@"\u0153" withString:@"oe"]; but it doesn't work.... I don't understand why! Thanks

  • Accessing curl executable from Program files?

    I have built an application which uses user executable through WScript com object. Now the main program is located in C:\Program files\Myapp Curl executable is located in C:\Curl But it looks like my application is unable to execute curl if main application is in Program files. If i move it to another location it can execute curl nicely. Problem occurs only on Windows Xp on Vista and Win7 it works perfectly. Is there any special permissions i have to give to my app or what?

  • Update of application Icon in Windows-7 Taskbar

    I have a normal MFC Application with an embedded icon. If I start the application, the icon is shown inside the windows-7 taskbar. But when I change the icon inside the resources, rebuild the application and start it, the taskbar doesn't show the current icon, but the icon from the first run. There is no special code inside the application that does something specific with the windows-7 taskbar. Is there a way, (in C++) to tell the windows-7 taskbar to show the current icon?

    I have a subversion repository with a directory structure: frontend backend + a + b In a other branch, someone had put the sub-folders a and b in the root directory and delete the other stuff (frontend, backend). a b Now i have to merge this branch back into the trunk (backend-folder). How can I do that to dont lose the history from the branches? I use git to access and work with the subversion repository.

  • why is win7/ie8 favorites the start menu? [closed]

    does anyone know why Win7 Pro IE8 favorites are really the programs in the start menu? I don't see the point, there are usually tons of folders here so it is hard to find internet shortcuts, and why would I want to open a program from IE? I don't like to IE but Firefox usually freezes up on Win7 after 15 minutes...so I am using IE8 more and more. any ideas? thanks

  • Scraping &#151 character (long dash) error in Nokogiri

    I having trouble scraping a certain long dash that is encoded as — ; on the Time magazine site. It looks like this: —. It works fine when this dash is encoded as mdash, but when the problem dash is scraped, it is returned as unknown characters. I am using Nokogiri and am wondering if I have to use some sort of special encoding? The page says it is encoded with UTF-8.

Works as expected in mysql, however in postgres it is incrementing by 2 each time? It is simple int field I believe, I don't have anything special going on.

    Hi All, I want an Open File Dialog with *.class ,*.jar filters. I want that *.jar files will be treated as folders (pressing OK or double-click should display the jar file content [ *.class] ). This capability is very similar to the TotalCommander archive plugin that let you browse inside archive files in-place (without the need to extract them, etc...) Any ideas how it could be done?   • How do I format a String in an email so Outlook will print the line breaks?

    I'm trying to send an email in Java but when I read the body of the email in Outlook, it's gotten rid of all my linebreaks. I'm putting \n at the ends of the lines but is there something special I need to do other than that? The receivers are always going to be using Outlook. I found a page on microsoft.com that says there's a 'Remove line breaks' "feature" in Outlook so does this mean there's no solution to get around that other than un-checking that setting? Thanks
