• iframe shifts 1 pixel to left on some browser sizes

  i have code like, sorry i dont have the exact code now. but its valid. <iframe src="..." borderframe="0" scrolling="no" width=728px" height="90px"></iframe> the target is a html file that contains code for a banner. everything displays well. but when i resize browser or go to maximize. the content is shiftet to the left by 1 pixel. so the banner is displayed missing the first vertical 1px line. and only 727px is visible. anyone has an idea? thank you.

• Terminate on instance "std::runtime_error" Hiphop-Php

  I have successfully built Hiphop-Php on an ubuntu server 12.04 LTS but when I run the command: $HPHP_HOME/src/hphp/hphp test.php This error occurs: terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what(): locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid Aborted (core dumped) The same error occured during the make command but I used sudo make and it dealt with that, but using sudo on the above just removes the Aborted (core dumped). This is happening on a remote server, but I have done the exact same before testing on a VM. I even got root access, as I thought that could help, but it's done nothing. Just so you know I built with USE_HHVM=0, I need the code unreadable and the bytecode format does this, but the VM I built was as well, I'm just stumped! Thanks in advance.

• ImageView doesn't rescale Image to selected size

  I'm using a ImageView with a fixed size for adding an icon to a menu. In my application, I use it a lot of times, but on this ImageView the Layout Params seem to not work. Unlike the others ImageViews, in this case, I'm using a template directly, but I think that's not the problem. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <ImageView xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="1dp" android:layout_height="1dp" android:scaleType="fitCenter" android:src="@drawable/ic_menu_moreoverflow_normal_holo_dark" android:contentDescription="ICON" /> Its been used in code as follows. ImageView iview =(ImageView) View.inflate(context, R.layout.icon, null); Theoretically, It should resize automatically the image, however, the images continues with the original size, although the size was 1dp. • Seeking through a streamed MP3 file with HTML5 <audio> tag

  Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I'm playing around with a node.js server that streams audio to a client, and I want to create an HTML5 player. Right now, I'm streaming the code from node using chunked encoding, and if you go directly to the URL, it works great. What I'd like to do is embed this using the HTML5 <audio> tag, like so: <audio src="http://server/stream?file=123"> where /stream is the endpoint for the node server to stream the MP3. The HTML5 player loads fine in Safari and Chrome, but it doesn't allow me to seek, and Safari even says it's a "Live Broadcast". In the headers of /stream, I include the file size and file type, and the response gets ended properly. Any thoughts on how I could get around this? I certainly could just send the whole file at once, but then the player would wait until the whole thing is downloaded--I'd rather stream it.

  Let's say I have the MSP430 assembly segment below: r15: 439c Memory map: 4390: 6045 0200 9c43 6400 8844 5044 363a 0000 Code: 448a: cmp #0x363a, 0x0(r15) 4490: jnz $+0x1c 4492: Code continues . . . 44ac: Jump to location The goal is to have the Z flag high. To do this with a cmp, both src and dst must be equal. If I have 363a in the memory location of r15, why is it that the resulting cmp does not trigger the Z flag? Through experimentation, I found that putting 3a36 in the memory location of r15 did in fact trigger the Z flag, but I don't understand why. If anyone could bring this to light, I would greatly appreciate it. If more information is needed, I will gladly provide it.

  I want to load the lightbox javascript only when a certain condition is satisfied so I'm loading it using $.ajax like so: $.ajax({ url: "../static/js/lightbox.js", dataType: 'script', cache: true, success: function() { alert('loaded'); $("a.lightbox").lightbox({ opacity: "0.6", width: "940" }); }}); I see the "loaded" alert but the lightbox does not work. However, when I load the file directly (script src) from the HTML, lightbox works. How do I fix this? Many thanks for your help.

  Hello, gcc 4.4.2 / Visual Studio C++ 2008 I have been using cmake on linux, without any problems. Now I have ported by application to run on windows. I generated the solution files using cmake -G "Visual Studio 9 2008 ../src" However, I know that cmake only creates a Makefile that is used by the compiler to build your application. I open my solution in Visual Studio, I press the F7 key to compile. I am wondering does it actually use the Makefile that was generated by cmake? Or it is just compiling the application like any normal visual studio program? Many thanks for any advice,

• What's so bad about in-line CSS?

  When I see website starter code and examples, the CSS is always in a separate file, named something like "main.css", "default.css", or "Site.css". However, when I'm coding up a page, I'm often tempted to throw the CSS in-line with a DOM element, such as by setting "float: right" on an image. I get the feeling that this is "bad coding", since it's so rarely done in examples. I understand that if the style will be applied to multiple objects, it's wise to follow "Don't Repeat Yourself" (DRY) and assign it to a CSS class to be referenced by each element. However, if I won't be repeating the CSS on another element, why not in-line the CSS as I write the HTML? The question: Is using in-line CSS considered bad, even if it will only be used on that element? If so, why? Example (is this bad?): <img src="myimage.gif" style="float:right" />

• Eclipse and Cassandra

  I've searched various websites for instructions on how to link 'Cassandra' and 'Eclipse' and followed directions to the last detail in several sites. For some reason, while using Git Bash, I cant get through the 'ant build', via instruction in said mentioned locations across the web. In some location's its easy, just make sure you have; 1. Apache Cassandra source 2. Apache Ant 3. Git So, yeah I've downloaded all the above, tried the same directory, different directories, etc., although still unable to get past the middle step of 'ant build'.   Hi there, I have a Django-project which was running fine, until I made "some changes" I don't remember exactly. Since that point, on every request, my project crashes silently: $ ./manage.py runserver -v2 Validating models... 0 errors found Django version 1.1.1, using settings 'src.settings' Development server is running at http://127.0.0.1:8000/ Quit the server with CONTROL-C. After I requested a page (admin oder frontend), it returns to the prompt. I did not find any other option to get verbose output than -v2 - is there any logfile I can use? I'm using Django 1.1.1 on a Mac OS X 10.6 with virtualenv, Python 2.6 Thanks a lot.

  I've been working on a small SVG website, http://docroot.ca/ - the SVG part has been working out pretty well. In the current site, jPlayer is called and given an mp3. jPlayer functions properly in Safari, Chrome, and Opera, but not Firefox which throws the following two errors: Error: not well-formed Source File: Line: 1, Column: 191 Source Code: <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><embed name="jqjp_flash_0" id="jqjp_flash_0" src="js/Jplayer.swf" width="0" height="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" quality="high" FlashVars="id=jPlayerBox&fid=jqjp_flash_0&vol=80" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></ and: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception...   I am trying to enqueue a script from the functions.php file for a custom theme. here is the code I am using: wp_enqueue_script('innerfade','correct/path/to/innerfade.js', array('jquery'), '', false); I also tried to hardcode from the the functions file like so: ?> <script type='text/javascript' src="correct/path/to/innerfade.js"></script> <?php and both are outputting the following: correct/path/to/innerfade.js'?ver=2.9.2 so It doesnt seem to be a wp_enqueue_script problem What I cannot seem to figure is where the hell is the comma after the .js is coming from, it is causing a dead link hence not loading the script, anyone have any ideas??
