  • iPhone App made using XCode 3.2.3 does not run on 3.1.3 OS

    I can't figure this out and I thought that someone might run through the same thing. I have XCode 3.2.3 (Pre Release with OS 4 beta) and I started to create my application, after the final touches and everything worked ok, I changed the Simulator - 4.0 to Simulator - 3.1.3 (latest iPhone OS) and I could never start my app again :-( Does anyone know what I should do? I created a simple Screencast of the problem so everyone can see what I'm writing about. Thank you for all the help.

  • JavaFX2: Drag Event start and end coordinates

    I have one node(ImageView) that displays an image and another node(rectangle) that resides on top of it. The behavior I need is that when the mouse is dragged(press-drag-release gesture) over the rectangle, both the nodes should move coherently. My thought process goes in the following direction: • Move both the nodes by the same distance in the direction of the drag. For this option(maybe there are more options) I need the distance between the start and end of the mouse drags. I tried capturing the start and end coordinates of the drag but have been unsuccessful. I think I am getting lost in which handlers to implement.   • Run GTK+ application in client browser

    Hi, I've been searching for ways to run a GTK+ application on a browser. WebKit and its associated GTK+ port seem to do the opposite - making applications more Web-friendly, but the opposite would also be nice. There seems to have been some activity to realize that for XCode, with Cappuccino and Atlas, that can translate NIB files into CIB files.   • Windows7 run as admin with password

    I love running as a standard user for its security pluses, my admin account is password protected. The problem appears when I need to run a program that requires admin rights, is there a way to include the password somehow so I won't have to type it every time ? Without changing my current setup: admin password protected account and I log on to a limited standard user account. I'm thinking of script or something like that ?

  • Set php file permissions so only my server's curl can run

    I have a PHP script that I don't want anyone to be able to run through their browser. It sends emails and is called via curl by my server's cron, yet needs to be in the public www directory. What permissions or owner do I need to set the file to to allow only my server's curl to execute (or do I mean read) the file? I'm on centos. Thanks!
