    I have refactored some UIView sub-classes into a static library. However, when using Interface Builder to create view components for a project that uses the static library I find that it is unaware of the library classes. What do I need to do to make the class interfaces visible to Interface Builder? Update: The correct answer refers to dragging the headers into the 'XIB browser'.     I'm confused with these colors. I noticed there are 4 colors showing in the left hand column of FireBug DOM tree: Bold black Black Bold green Green In the right hand column: Blue Red Bold green Green Multiple color elements representing object structures. What do this colors represent? And why, e.g, I can access window.document.URL and I can't access window.document.body in Console even though they are both in the "not-bold black" category in the DOM tree? Thanks a lot

    I have a NSTextField within a Window and I created a very simple MacRuby delegate: class ServerInputDelegate attr_accessor :parent def textDidChange(notification) NSLog notification.inspect parent.filter end end And I have tried setting the control's delegate: I have tried setting the Window and every other object I could think of to this delegate. I have also tried setting it to other delegates (application for instance) and events like applicationDidFinishLaunching are being properly triggered. Is there any trick I am missing in order for this event to be triggered every time the contents of this NSTextField changes?

  • Why does KeyDown event not have access to the current value of bound variable?

    In the example below: I start program, type text, click button, see text above. Press ENTER see text again. BUT: I start program, type text, press ENTER, see no text. It seems that the KeyDown event doesn't get access to the current value of the bound variable, as if it is always "one behind". What do I have to change so that when I press ENTER I have access to the value that is in the textbox so I can add it to the chat window?     my company's internet works on proxy server with Authentication(i.e. Browser prompts with window for username/password everytime i tried to access any web page). Now i have some windows application which tries to access internet(like WebPI/Visual Studio 2008 for rss feeds), but as they are unable to popup the the authentication window, they are unable to connect with internet with error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required . Here the exception is VS2008, first time it always fails to load rss feeds on startup page, but when i click on the link, it shows authentication window and everything works fine after that. my question is: How can i configure normal windows application(through app.config/app.manifest file) accessing web to able to show the authentication window or provide default credentials. For explore this furthor, i have created one console application on VS2008 which tries to serach something on google and display the result on console.   • Keep Side Navigation Fixed with Scrolling of page

    Hi Guys, I have a clients website - www.stagecraft.co.uk and they want the navigation on the hire pages (longer page) to still be there at when you scroll the page down. I've had a quick go (not live) with position fixed but in doing so it the leftside navigation is about 200px or so from the top of the window.   • Trouble setting IE8 browser mode to IE7

    Inspite of putting the following meta tag I am not getting the expected result: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" > I open the developer tool window. In the same bar where the menu appears there is an item called Browser Mode: it still shows IE 8 by default. Even doing document.documentMode in the console window shows "8". Am I doing anything wrong?

I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI?     I'm trying to load an external JavaScript using jQuery's getScript(), like this: $.getScript("http://api.recaptcha.net/js/recaptcha_ajax.js", function(data) { window.alert(data); }); but as the alert window shows, the data variable in the callback function is undefined, unlike promised in http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQuery.getScript#urlcallback.   • Gray border when using NSBorderlessWindowMask

    Hello, Whenever I try to create a custom window using NSBorderlessWindowMask and set an NSView (for example an NSImageView) as its contentView, I get a 1px gray border around the NSView and I don't seem to be able to get rid of it. I have followed several approaches including Apple's RoundTransparentWindow sample code as well as several suggestions on StackOverflow. I suspect the gray border is either coming from the window itself or the NSView. Have any of you experienced this problem or do you have a possible solution? Thanks

  • Google Maps: marker icons are multi over same location, why?

    I'm using Google Maps and have the map set to height/width=100%. I noticed that when I resize the browser window, my map marker icons appear to redraw on top of the same location. Meaning, if I should only have 1 map marker icon on "987 Main St", when I resize the browser window - multiple map marker icons are being now draw on top of "987 Main St" that shouldn't be there.
