  Which sites/blog (not book) would you prefer to learn advanced CSS techniques (not basic)? Site which updates new only css and pure css (no client side and server side) techniques, articles on daily or weekly basis. Or you can suggest any pure css rss feeds.   I have a MySQL table containing data on product features: feature_id feature_product_id feature_finder_id feature_text feature_status_yn 1 1 1 Webcam y 2 1 1 Speakers y 3 1 1 Bluray n I want to write a MySQL query that allows me to search for all products that have a 'y' feature_status_yn value for a given feature_product_id and return the feature_product_id. The aim is to use this as a search tool to allow me to filter results to product IDs only matching the requested feature set. A query of SELECT feature_id FROM product_features WHERE feature_finder_id = '1' AND feature_status_yn = 'y' will return all of the features of a given product. But how can I select all products (feature_product_id) that have a 'y' value when they are on separate lines? Multiple queries might be one way to do it, but I'm wondering whether there's a more elegant solution based purely in SQL.

  i wonder if there are tutorials/books explaining how you create a library/plugin/module for other to implement? libraries/frameworks like solr, doctrine, codeigniter etc. cause it seems that they follow the same pattern. having one "bootstrap" file to load configurations, other classes and so on. i aim to understand the basics, so i can create a such library. cause at the moment i want to code an address book that other can use. just include a bootstrap file and they are ready to use my classes (like Doctrine). recommendations of sources to learn these things of stuff? you experienced guys, how did you learn it? thanks.

If the user checks some of the sub-items, then a blue square appears inside the main items checkbox. It should look something like this. How do I do that in Java 1.6? Can I use swing or any external library? I would like to choose the easiest and the fastest way to achieve this? My aim is to create only 1 level of nesting.

• Determining if and where a photon will collide with a polygon in 3D space.

  The problem is straight forward: 1) We have a photon traveling from Point 1 (x,y,z) to Point 2 (x,y,z), both of which could be located anywhere in 3D space. 2) We have a polygon that is both rotated randomly on the x-axis and/or y-axis and also located anywhere in 3D space. 3) We want to find: a) if the photon will collide with the polygon at all and b) if it does where will that be (x,y,z)? • Getting highest results in a JOIN

  I've got three tables; Auctions, Auction Bids and Users. The table structure looks something like this: Auctions: id title -- ----- 1 Auction 1 2 Auction 2 Auction Bids: id user_id auction_id bid_amt -- ------- ---------- ------- 1 1 1 200.00 2 2 1 202.00 3 1 2 100.00 Users is just a standard table, with id and user name. My aim is to join these tables so I can get the highest values of these bids, as well as get the usernames related to those bids; so I have a result set like so: auction_id auction_title auctionbid_amt user_username ---------- ------------- -------------- ------------- 1 Auction 1 202.00 Bidder2 2 Auction 2 100.00 Bidder1 So far my query is as follows: SELECT a.id, a.title, ab.bid_points, u.display_name FROM auction a LEFT JOIN auctionbid ab ON a.id = ab.auction_id LEFT JOIN users u ON u.id = ab.user_id GROUP BY a.id This gets the single rows I am after, but it seems to display the lowest bid_amt, not the highest.

So say if I put the parameter: http://example.com/uncategorized/ It redirect me to : http://example.com/mature/ The problem is with curl, I dont get any content.. But my aim is to get the content of that page redirect.. Is there an easy way to get the function to work in the way I want..?

• Codeigniter pre_system hook for DB driven dynamic controller selection - best approach?

  Although I can tentatively see a solution to this, I was wondering if there may be a glaringly obvious simpler approach. My aim is to use the first segment of a given URI to query the DB as to which controller should be run. I assume I would have to reform the URI with the resultant controller name in segment 1, then allow the system to continue processing as normal (hence a pre_system hook). Although not essential I would also like to hold a couple of other variables from the same DB request to be used later in the call stack, and assume this would have to be done using global variables? Any better suggestions would be gladly received. Thanks.

  I am setting up a client and exchange project and both are connecting to a remote server. Exchange will connect to the server by EMS connection. While client will connect by FIX. For the aim of building of black box testing, both client and exchange engine will be given some predefined testcases to send and receive to the server. I design the client engine with multithread processing to manipulate many testcases. Actually it is able to run succesfully. For exchange engine, I wonder that multi thread is applicable in the context that the exchange engine just need to publish a message when it received msg from subscribed topic on server. Flow of messages transmission: Client--SERVER--Exchange FIX EMS Exchange--SERVER--Client EMS FIX Thanks if you can help me on this issue.

• (Windows) How to lock all applications (explorer, task manager etc.) and make only the browser activ

  I'm trying to run only the browser in the system - locking access to everything else. Only the supervisor can resume the normal functioning of the system after giving a password. This kind of activity is usually done by virus. Disabling the registry for Task manager etc. Does anyone know of any source available that does this? I might be able to pull it off in Windows XP. But have anyone tried this in Windows 7 ? The aim is to to emulate the Chrome OS on Windows. Only the browser. Nothing else.

So the aim would be to have a button at the bottom of a received message which says 'translate this'. I've heard that this kind of thing is possible using J2ME plus the native BlackBerry API. Can this be done for all kinds of messanging features on the Blackberry, or just some? ie I'm thinking SMS, email and BB messages. Secondly, given that the translation itself is done via a web request, I feel like this should be a fairly lightweight application. Would anyone care to hazard a guess how long it might take an experienced contractor to develop such an app?

However, my code does not produce that output. Why? I can't understand that. My regex needs to be as it is because I match other strings (this time with success). Thanks.

  Hi there, my situation is the following: I have a project with JSP, Struts and a lot of actions. Lets say that I have these 3 main groups {contacts.do, calendar.do and notes.do} with lot of actions in each of them. I have an action unrelated to all of them but since I didn't know where to put it I just chose contacts. My aim is after the action, to go back to the page I was but since the action is place in contacts it returns to the default action of contacts. Is there anything I could do for this purpose? • (UNITY3D) Get slerp to work just as LookAt(,Vector3.right) does

  Ive been working over a sidescroller shooter game. Ive got my sidescroller shooter character to look around with these : chest.LookAt(mousepos,Vector3.right); & chest.LookAt(mousepos,Vector3.left); (Left when the character is turned to the left and right when the character is turned to the right) so it wont aim in to any other axis... But when the mouse gets to cross the middle of the character and not around it it gets the rotation to make a small transportation between frames and it wont get all the way to there.. It'll just teleport to its correct rotation like lookat should. Well the question is, how do I get any quaternion slerp which works with a Time.deltTime to work as same as LookAt(,Vector3.right)? I must have the Vector3.right and left so it'll move trough 1 axis. Many thanks to anyone who helps me out. :)
