  • Jruby rspec to be run parallely

    Hi. Is there something like Spork for Jruby too? We want to parallelize our specs to run faster and pre-load the classes while running the rake task; however we have not been able to do so.     I'm having serious problems with accepting payments. I'm passing the total amount in a hidden field <input type="hidden" name="checkout-flow-support.merchant-checkout-flow-support.shipping-methods.flat-rate-shipping-1.price" value="129.00"/> Some of the users changed this value to 2 using firebug and submitted the form. Instead of getting $129, we only received $2. I have no idea how to proceed this anyone help me quick .

  • Destructor - does it get called if the app crashes

    Does a destructor get called if the app crashes? If it's an unhandled exception I'm guessing it does, but what about more serious errors, or something like a user killing the application process? And a few more potentially dumb questions: what happens to all the objects in an app when the app exits and all finalizers have been executed - do the objects get garbage collected or are they somehow all "unloaded" with the process or appdomain? is the garbage collector part of each application (runs in the same process) or is it independent?

  • Java: thread-safe RandomAccessFile

    Hi, After some serious googleing I found out that the RandomAccessFile-class is not thread-safe. Now I could use one semaphore to lock all reads and writes but I don't think that performs very well. In theory it should be possible to do multiple reads and one write at a time. How can I do this in Java? Is it possible at all? Thanks!

Currently i have a single view representing just one player. It seems as though cocas2s is not really built do have multiple views, to do this and it would require some serious amount of hacking around with the code.     Hi everyone! I just wanted to know if any of you had any problems using java default HttpURLConnection class. Some kind of bug that made you switch to apache commons. Or is it just the (ugly) interface that class exposes that justifies the birth of 3rd party http lib? Disclosure: I heard some arguments against java.net having some serious problems, but I'm finding hard to believe that a class that is part of the java core distribution still has issues after several releases of the JDK
