    How do you explicitly request fx forwards as outrights using the bloomberg API? In the Bloomberg terminal you can choose whether to get FX Forwards as absolute rates (outrights) or as offsets from Spots (Points) by doing XDF, hitting 7, then the option is about half way down. 0 means outrights, and 1 means offfsets. With most defaults you can explicitly set them in the API, so your code gives the same result whichever computer you run on. How do you set this one in a V3 API query?

    Hi, I display some data on my website and one of the data feed elements is an image. [title] => Product title [description] => some description [image] => www.some-domain.com/product-image/p12345.jpg I then display this image using <img alt="product" src="<?=$data['image']?>" /> Most of the images are 80x80, 120x100 or other less than 150 in width, which perfectly fit in the website template, but some of them are quite large such as 800x600 which distort the layout. I want a control on these types. I tried to set WIDTH="150", but as the width vary they dont look good. I was thinking If I could set a fixed width to images, say, larger than 250px then I can live with it for now. Any ideas how to achieve this? Thanks

I understand that this is the correct behavior when includeExceptionDetails is turned off, but I think I saw some configuration a long time ago to allow some exceptions/faults to pass through the service boundaries.   • ASP.NET: How to specify which button should defaultly react for an Enter press?

    I have a webpage where there are two buttons and a textbox. When the page loads and user presses enter, the first button is clicked - and that is ok. I would like to assure that if user enters the textBox and types anything there and THEN presses enter, the second button is clicked. When I enter the textBox I can tell that the first button will be used when I press enter, because it is a bit dark-blue-bordered then. I tried javascript's if (event && event.keyCode == 13) document.getElementById("Button2").click(); but it somehow doesn't work. So my second thought was that there must be a possibility to tell the browser which button should defaultly react for an enter press when I'm in a specific textBox (the dark-blue-bordered button). Edit: it might matter that first button is input and the second one is asp:Button

    I have a series of buttons that have suit symbols on them. Currently I provide these suit symbols as bitmaps. In preparation for iPhone 4 I'd like to use text instead. However Interface Builder rescales the button to account for whitespace underneath the symbol so I can't get the image to fill the button completely. Any hints on getting Interface Builder to behave?

A specific type of order and order item would inherit from these classes. Let's call these WebOrder (inherits from OrderBase) and WebOrderItem (inherits from OrderItemBase). Is this even possible? I know I can do it with a c# cmdlet, but it would be massively more convenient if I could deliver this as a single script.

    Not sure what the correct title for this question should be. I have the following schema: Matters have a one-many relationship to WorkItems. WorkItems have a one-one (or one-zero) relationship to LineItems. I am trying to create the following relation between Matters and WorkItems Matter.unbilled_work_items = orm.relation(WorkItem, primaryjoin = (Matter.id == WorkItem.matter_id) and (WorkItem.line_item_id == None), foreign_keys = [WorkItem.matter_id, WorkItem.line_item_id], viewonly=True ) This throws: AttributeError: '_Null' object has no attribute 'table' That seems to be saying that the second clause in the primaryjoin returns an object of type _Null, but it seems to be expecting something with a "table" attribute. This seems like it should be pretty straightforward to me, am I missing something obvious?

  • Why do I have to specify pure virtual functions in the declaration of a derived class in Visual C++?

    Given the base class A and the derived class B: class A { public: virtual void f() = 0; }; class B : public A { public: void g(); }; void B::g() { cout << "Yay!"; } void B::f() { cout << "Argh!"; } I get errors saying that f() is not declared in B while trying do define void B::f(). Do I have to declare f() explicitly in B? I think that if the interface changes I shouldn't have to correct the declarations in every single class deriving from it. Is there no way for B to get all the virtual functions' declarations from A automatically? EDIT: I found an article that says the inheritance of pure virtual functions is dependent on the compiler: http://www.objectmentor.com/resources/articles/abcpvf.pdf I'm using VC++2008, wonder if there's an option for this.

I would like the ImageView's height to dynamically increase depending on the max height of the screen. I'm aligning the layout containing the buttons along the bottom of edge of the screen, and I would like the rest of the screen taken up by the above ImageView. Also, since the ImageView contains a centered image, I would also like to set min height, and a scrollbar if the screen is too small to display the imageview and the buttons below. Thanks!     I need to get the most recent record for each device from an upgrade request log table. A device is unique based on a combination of its hardware ID and its MAC address. I have been attempting to do this with GROUP BY but I am not convinced this is safe since it looks like it may be simply returning the "top record" (whatever SQLite or MySQL thinks that is). I had hoped that this "top record" could be hinted at by way of ORDER BY but that does not seem to be having any impact as both of the following queries returns the same records for each device, just in opposite order: SELECT extHwId, mac, created FROM upgradeRequest GROUP BY extHwId, mac ORDER BY created DESC SELECT extHwId, mac, created FROM upgradeRequest GROUP BY extHwId, mac ORDER BY created ASC Is there another way to accomplish this? I've seen several somewhat related posts that have all involved sub selects. If possible, I would like to do this without subselects as I would like to learn how to do this without that.

    I'm trying to debug some auto-generated code, but I am a mySQL noob. Everything goes fine ultil the "prepare" line below, and then for some reason $mysqli_stmt is false, yielding the stated error. Could it have something to do with the SQL_MODE = 'ANSI'? The failure seems to have something to do with the string 'xxx' below, but it still happens no matter what I change it to.     I am using CSS but for the sake of quick testing i am just using a style tag. This is the code I am trying to implement: echo "<td style='height=10px; width=10px;'>"; it makes sure that the max width of the cell is 10px however the height overflows with the text so becomes very large (high). what I am trying to achieve is any information that is in that cell more than 30 charcters I want to hide so you cant see it. (I know 30 charaters is more than 10px but I am just playing to see if it worked!) Thanks guys.
