  • Best XML Parser for RSS Feeds in Objective C ?

    Hi all, I am going to develop an application which will parse the RSS feeds and display the items in my custom cell.(Cell containing the image, label, description, etc). The most popular way of parsing is using the NSXMLParser. But this is bit of a lengthy way. So is there any other way to do this. Or my question will be, which is the best xml parser for objective-c ?

  • Implementation of Nib project to Storyboard, Xcode

    I have made a tabbed bar application in storyboard in xcode. I,m new to xcode. I got a Sample TableView XIB project from apple that I edited to my needs,The project has a UITableView that I Customized with Images, And with help of a certain forum member I was able to link up each image to a New View Controller. I tried to port or integrate My Nib Project Code to my StoryBoard Tabbed Bar Application.I thought I had everything right had to comment out a few things to get no errors, But the project only goes to a Blank Table View.   • Network Data Packet connectivity intent

    I am writing an Android application which can enable and disable the Network Data packet connection. I am also using one broadcast receiver to check the Network Data packet connection. I have registered broadcast receiver and provided required permission in Manifest file. But when I run this application it changes the connection state and after that it crashes. But when I don't include this broadcast receiver it works fine. I am not able to see any kind of log which can provide some clue. PS: Some information about Android environment and platform. - Android API 10. - Running on Samsung Galaxy II which has android 2.3.6 Edit: my broadcast receiver file ConnectivityReceiver.java was present in default package and it was not being recognized by Android. Android was looking for this file in current package i.e com.rakesh.simplewidget; I just moved connectivityReciever.java file to com.rakesh.simplewidget package and problem was solved.

  • How can I flip/rotate a PrintDocument in .NET ?

    I have a document that I want to be flipped / rotated 180 degrees when printed. (This is due to the orientation of label stock in the printer). There is a property PrintDocument.PrinterSettings.LandscapeAngle but it is read only. I think this property is influenced by the printer driver and therefore not 'settable'. Is there a nice way i can rotate the print by 180 degrees without having to do anything too nasty?

    I'm making a webapp in Seam but ran into a problem I can't seem to fix. I have a JSF form where the customer can select a reservation type through a combobox. Based on the selected value, other form components gets rendered. For example: the customer selects Hours as reservation type, a panelGroup gets rendered where the customer can select a start- and an end hour. But if the customer would select 'part of the day' as reservation type, a selectOneMenu gets rendered where the customer can select a part of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) The rerendering well but the values of the components with a rendered conditional won't get passed to the bean. They stay null values.     I want to allow the user to edit by data by row, so only need content updated by row. I managed to achieve this by using a Repeater with a UpdatePanel in the ItemTemplate. I create the userdata.php in folder war. then I compile tesdb3 project. Folder tesdb3 and the userdata.php in war moved in local server(I use WAMP). I put the PHP in folder tesdb3.     I would like to obtain the list of controls under a given point. There is a method on System.Windows.Form to obtain a control under a point(GetChildAtPoint) but not point(GetChildsAtPoint). Is there something similar for the list of controls (if borders intersect one other): I need this because I select the objects when user clicks on the panel(I use Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.RectangleShape as label bellow). In case if labels are superposed, user should be asked what object to select.

    I have been searching around the web for a solution to this issue but have come across nothing so far. Basically I have a table as shown below, whhich i made up of itemtemplate fields and is populated by a dataset from my database. It shows brands to the user of which they can then click and go onto another page. I need to add another option to the table called "All Brands". Thus then I can use this to go to a page showing all the brands.     So I have a winform that has some winforms controls on it. But in the center of it, I want to show a transparent number on top of everything. Say 60 pixels size. I tried a label and even tried to create a custom control but the transparency didn't work. Any ideas how to do this? This number will change programmatically at runtime several times.
