  I want to keep only the filenames (not full paths) and add the filename to some bbcode. Here is the HTML to be converted: <a href=/path/to/full/image.jpg rel=prettyPhoto><img rel=prettyPhoto src=/path/to/thumb/image.jpg /></a> Notice I cannot have rel="foo" (no double quotes).. Here is what I have in PERL, to perform the conversion: s/\<a href=(.+?)\ rel=prettyPhoto\>\<img rel=prettyPhoto src=(.+?) \/>\<\/a\>/\[box\]$1\[\/box\]/gi; This converts the HTML to: [box]/path/to/image.jpg[/box] But this is what I want as a result: [box]image.jpg[/box] The HTML must remain the same. So how do I change my PERL so that $1 contains only the filename?

  I came to a situation where I need to edit the following in a way that, on some event (lets assume the 'click' event in this case) I need to remove (or unwrap?) the .container and the .header and have the .itemlist still visible/available on the page. And then, I need to restore .container and .header back again on some other event, while still maintain the event listeners on the a tags, and if possible, without removing the said items from the DOM.   I've assigned a Smarty variable: {assign var="siteurl" value="http://website.com"} I can successfully use it in my header.html file to call a CSS link: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{$siteurl}/style.css" /> displays <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://website.com/style.css" /> However, when I do the same for a Javascript source, it literally prints out "{$siteurl}": <script type="text/javascript" src="{$siteurl}/scripts.js"></script> displays <script type="text/javascript" src="{$siteurl}/scripts.js"></script> Why isn't this Smarty variable displaying as expected?

  hihi, I have this html text response from a particular website: <tr><td valign="top"><img src="/icons/image2.gif" alt="[IMG]"></td><td><a href="crsdsdfs2221.jpg">crash-2221.jpg</a></td><td align="right">14-Jun-2010 14:29 Notice for every line, there is this href=".__", which is an image file with random name and random format. I would like to extract that string within the inverted commas out so that i can append it into a URL path and download the image. I've been looking through this documentation from apple: http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/cocoa/conceptual/strings/Articles/SearchingStrings.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/20000149-CJBBGBAI on String programming but couldn't find one that fits my bill. Also after reading it, what code can I use to ensure that I will be reading the next line the next time my function is called( because I want to download the next picture). Hope some kind soul can help me out, thanks!

  I would like to scrape the search results of this ASP.NET site using Ruby and preferably just using Hpricot (I cannot open an instance of Firefox): http://www.ngosinfo.gov.pk/SearchResults.aspx?name=&foa=0 However, I am having trouble figuring out how to go through each page of results. Basically, I need simulate clicking on links like these: <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$2','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">2</a> <a href="javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$Pager1$3','')" class="blue_11" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_Pager1">3</a> etc. I tried using Net::HTTP to handle the post, but while that received the correct HTML, there were no search results (I'm probably not doing that correctly). In addition, the URL of the page does not contain any parameters indicating page, so it is not possible to force the results that way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

'&' : '?') + 'taxInclude=' + display; } </script> When passed to validation It returns that the ampersand there isn't valid, but it's absolutely vital to the function of the page, is there a way I can make the validator ignore this? I don't need to validate the page, I'm no JS expert at all I'm not sure if I can replace it with &amp;. Thanks.

When the PDF is generated using oXygen editor with the PDF Legacy plugin, the topichead element is completely ignored, yet the nested topicref is in the PDF.
