  • Dynamic parameters for XSLT 2.0 group-by

    - by Ophileon
    I got this input <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <result> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2004" value="1240"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2005" value="1290"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2006" value="1280"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2007" value="1320"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2008" value="1330"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2009" value="1340"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2010" value="1340"/> <datapoint poiid="2492" period="2011" value="1335"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2004" value="1120"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2005" value="1120"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2006" value="1100"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2007" value="1100"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2008" value="1100"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2009" value="1110"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2010" value="1105"/> <datapoint poiid="2493" period="2011" value="1105"/> </result> and I use this xslt 2.0 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" exclude-result-prefixes="xs" version="2.0"> <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/> <xsl:template match="result"> <xsl:for-each-group select="datapoint" group-by="@poiid"> <node type="poiid" id="{@poiid}"> <xsl:for-each select="current-group()"> <node type="period" id="{@period}" value="{@value}"/> </xsl:for-each> </node> </xsl:for-each-group> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> to convert it into <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <node type="poiid" id="2492"> <node type="period" id="2004" value="1240"/> <node type="period" id="2005" value="1290"/> <node type="period" id="2006" value="1280"/> <node type="period" id="2007" value="1320"/> <node type="period" id="2008" value="1330"/> <node type="period" id="2009" value="1340"/> <node type="period" id="2010" value="1340"/> <node type="period" id="2011" value="1335"/> </node> <node type="poiid" id="2493"> <node type="period" id="2004" value="1120"/> <node type="period" id="2005" value="1120"/> <node type="period" id="2006" value="1100"/> <node type="period" id="2007" value="1100"/> <node type="period" id="2008" value="1100"/> <node type="period" id="2009" value="1110"/> <node type="period" id="2010" value="1105"/> <node type="period" id="2011" value="1105"/> </node> Works smoothly. Where I got stuck is when I tried to make it more dynamic. The real life input has 6 attributes for each datapoint instead of 3, and the usecase requires the possibility to set the grouping parameters dynamically. I tried using parameters <xsl:param name="k1" select="'poiid'"/> <xsl:param name="k2" select="'period'"/> but passing them to the rest of the xslt is something that I can't get right. The code below doesn't work, but clarifies hopefully, what I'm looking for. <xsl:template match="result"> <xsl:for-each-group select="datapoint" group-by="@{$k1}"> <node type="{$k1}" id="@{$k1}"> <xsl:for-each select="current-group()"> <node type="{$k2}" id="@{$k2}" value="{@value}"/> </xsl:for-each> </node> </xsl:for-each-group> </xsl:template> Any help appreciated..

  • Java replace all capturing groups

    - by Don
Hi, If I have a regex with a capturing group, e.g. foo(g.*f). If I match this against a string and want to replace the first capturing group in all matches with baz so that foog___f blah foog________f is converted to: foobaz blah foobaz There doesn't appear to be any easy way to do this using the standard libraries, because the Matcher.replaceAll() method will only replace all matches of the entire pattern, am I missing something? Obviously I can just iterate through the matches, store the start and end index of each capturing group, then go back and replace them, but is there an easier way? Thanks, Don

  • Remove duplicates in entries, scala way

    - by andersbohn
I have a list of entries stating a production value in a given interval. Entries stating the exact same value at a later time adds no information and can safely be left out. case class Entry(minute:Int, production:Double) val entries = List(Entry(0, 100.0), Entry(5, 100.0), Entry(10, 100.0), Entry(20, 120.0), Entry(30, 100.0), Entry(180, 0.0)) Experimenting with the scala 2.8 collection functions, so far I have this working implementation: entries.foldRight(List[Entry]()) { (entry, list) => list match { case head :: tail if (entry.production == head.production) => entry :: tail case head :: tail => entry :: list case List() => entry :: List() } } res0: List[Entry] = List(Entry(0,100.0), Entry(20,120.0), Entry(30,100.0), Entry(180,0.0)) Any comments? Am I missing out on some scala magic?

  • join select from multiple row values?

    - by user1869132
    Two tables 1) product -------------------- id | Name | price 1 | p1 | 10 2 | p2 | 20 3 | p3 | 30 2) product_attributes: --------------------------------------------------- id | product_id | attribute_name | attribute_value --------------------------------------------------- 1 | 1 | size | 10 2 | 1 | colour | red 3 | 2 | size | 20 I need to join these two tables. In the where clause I need to match both the two rows attribute values. Is it possible to get the result based on two rows value. Here if size=10 and colour=red. Output should be 1 | p1 | 10 It could be greatly helpful to get a query for this.

  • How do you get the ID of a control in ASP.NET

    - by James
I am attempting to loop through an array of numbers, match them to the checkbox they they are associated with, and checkmark that box. My checkbox is set up like: <input type="checkbox" runat="server" id="someID" name="somename" value="1234" /> My code when the page loads currently looks like: foreach (string interest in interests_Var){ foreach (var c in Page.Controls) { } } interests_Var is my array containing different numbers. We'll assume one of them is 1234. While looping through the page controls, I want to compare the value of the control to my number. If it equals my number, I want to then apply the attribute checked="checked". I'm assuming I have to find the ID of the control I am using, then use that ID to add a new attribute. Or is there a way I can add the attribute using the c variable? I'm not dead set on this setup, so if you know a better way, I'm all ears. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

  • SimpleInjector - Register a type for all it's interfaces

    - by Karl Cassar
    Is it possible to register a type for all it's implementing interfaces? E.g, I have a: public class Bow : IWeapon { #region IWeapon Members public string Attack() { return "Shooted with a bow"; } #endregion } public class HumanFighter { private readonly IWeapon weapon = null; public HumanFighter(IWeapon weapon) { this.weapon = weapon; } public string Fight() { return this.weapon.Attack(); } } [Test] public void Test2b() { Container container = new Container(); container.RegisterSingle<Bow>(); container.RegisterSingle<HumanFighter>(); // this would match the IWeapon to the Bow, as it // is implemented by Bow var humanFighter1 = container.GetInstance<HumanFighter>(); string s = humanFighter1.Fight(); }

  • How do you escape double quotes inside a SQL fulltext 'contains' function?

    - by Richard Davies
How do you escape a double quote character inside a MS SQL 'contains' function? SELECT decision FROM table WHERE CONTAINS(decision, '34" AND wide') Normally contains() expects double quotes to surround an exact phrase to match, but I want to search for an actual double quote character. I've tried escaping it with \, `, and even another double quote, but none of that has worked. P.S. I realize a simple example like this could also be done using the LIKE statement, but I need to use the fulltext search function. The query I provided here has been simplified from my actual query for example purposes.

  • Question about ASP.NET MVC and static data (ie. images, scripts, etc)

    - by Pure.Krome
Hi folks, If i have a request for a resource in my ASP.NET MVC1 (or 2) web app for a static resource, say ... an image or a javascript file or a css file ... does the .NET framework try and see if the request matches the route list ... and eventually can't find a controller for it? eg. Resource: /Content/Images/Foo.png Does this request go through my route list .. fails to match any controllers / actions to this request and then .. i donno ... attempt that path directly?

  • Can I use a string variable to reference a class variable?

    - by rson
Here's the scenario: I have an external swf file with x number of movieclips in its library that I load into a containing swf. Each MC in the external swf is linked with a class name and referenced on frame 1 as such var unique1:lineSequence1 = new lineSequence1(); the unique1 variable name will match a string variable I create in the containing swf: function initLines():void{ lineLoader = new Loader(); lineLoader.load(new URLRequest("theLines.swf")); //load external swf lineLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, linesLoaded); } function linesLoaded(e:Event):void{ var loadedswf:MovieClip = e.target.content as MovieClip; var initialLines = projects[0].pageid; //projects is an xmllist trace("initialLines: "+initialLines); //returns "initialLines: unique1" lines_holder_mc.addChild(loadedswf.[initialLines]); } I would like to use the initialLines variable as the reference to unique1 instead of hardcoding unique1 into loadedswf.unique1 to reference said variable in the loaded swf.

  • Why do my Xcode default font starts to look ugly after some time, until I restart?

    - by mystify
I plugged in an external monitor. All resolutions match perfectly. MacBookPro LCD is closed. After about 10 minutes my fonts in Xcode start to look very bad. Only in Xcode. When I restart the mac and don't use an external monitor, fonts look all right again. When I attach the monitor again, fonts look nice. Then I close XCode and reopen it: Fonts suck. All other fonts look great. It seems like Xcode isn't antialiasing them properly after something happens. For my observation it happens when I quit and reopen Xcode while an external monitor is in use. Only way to fix it then is to completely reboot. Is there a fix for this problem?

  • How do you render a rails partial that is outside of a namespace in a view that is inside of a namespace?

    - by iand675
I've got a 'static' controller and static views that are pages that don't utilize ruby in their views. For these pages, I have a sitemap partial that is generated programatically and used in the application layout file. Namespaced routes still use the application layout file but are taking the static routes and trying to namespace them too. Here's the relevant portion of the route file: namespace :admin do resources :verse_categories resources :verses resources :songs resources :flowers resources :visits, :except => [:new, :create] end match ':action' => 'static' root :to => 'static#home' Here's the error I'm getting: No route matches {:controller=>"admin/static", :action=>"about"} Note that about is one of the static pages that the sitemap partial uses. So, how can I resolve this routing issue so that it's not trying to find my static sites inside of the admin namespace? Any help would be appreciated!

  • scala xml rewrite rule (or, simple pattern help)

    - by williamstw
I'm missing some fairly simple syntax I gather. I'm trying to rewrite an element label to something else and keep everything else intact. object htmlRule extends RewriteRule { override def transform(n: Node): Seq[Node] = n match { case Elem(prefix, "document", attribs, scope, child@_*) => Elem(prefix, "html", attribs, scope, child) case other => other } } Now, I ask for an explanation of two things: 1) What exactly does "child@_*" mean in plain English? 2) How can I capture the value of "child@_*" and just let it pass right through to the new element? Currently, I get the following error, which makes sense. [error] found : Seq[scala.xml.Node] [error] required: scala.xml.Node [error] Elem(prefix, "html", attribs, scope, child) I'm not wedded to this either, so if there's a better way to simply change the element name of a specific node, let's here it... Thanks, --tim

  • Regex "or" Expression

    - by David
    This is probably a really basic question, but I can't find any answers. I need to match a string by either one or more spaces OR an equals sign. When I split this string: 9 x 13 = (8.9 x 13.4) (89 x 134) with ( +) I get: part 0: 9 x 13 = (8.9 x 13.4) part 1: (89 x 134) When I split it with (=) I get: part 0: 9 x 13 part 1: (8.9 x 13.4) (89 x 134) How can split by BOTH? Something like: (=)OR( +) Edit: This does not work(=)|( +) Test it here: http://myregexp.com/ under "split".

  • UITableViewCell height with 0 rows

    - by Typeoneerror
I've got a moderately uncustomized UITableView in my application that presents an array of up to 6 peers for a networking game. When no peers are found the numberOfRowsInSection is 0, so when it loads up, there's no rows in the table: - (NSInteger)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView numberOfRowsInSection:(NSInteger)section { return 0; } Trouble is, the height of each cell is not adjusted to match heightForRowAtIndexPath unless the numberOfRowsInSection is 0. I hard-coded in "1" for this and the height is adjusted. - (CGFloat)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView heightForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { return kTableRowHeight; } Can anyone tell me why this is? Will once the data that is being presented is longer than "0" length, will the height of the table cells jump to the correct height? I'd like them to be the correct height even if the row length is 0.

  • VBA for filtering columns

    - by Ampi Severe
I have a big database-like sheet, first row contains headers. I would like a subset of rows of this table based on column values. Two issues: 1) VBA-wise I would like to loop through the columns, when the values for all necessary columns all match, copy the entire row into a new sheet. 2) The subset of rows is based on a list. This should be the first column to be looped through. For example I want all rows where the value in column A is equal to one of the values in my list. Is there any possibility to autofilter strings based on a list (column) of strings? EDIT Thanks to @Doug Glancy the autofiltering works now, so I've removed my (horrible) code and issue 1 is solved.

  • Haskell: Why is it saying my function type is off?

    - by linkmaster03
I wrote a little Haskell program to find the area of a triangle, primarily to practice custom types, but it keeps throwing the following error on compile: areafinder.hs:7:4: Couldn't match expected type 'Triangle' against inferred type 'm b' In a stmt of a 'do' expression: putStr "Base: " In the expression: do { putStr "Base: "; baseStr I'm not sure where 'm b' comes from, so I'm at a loss here. Why is it throwing this error, and what can I do to fix it? Here is my code: module Main where data Triangle = Triangle Double Double -- base, height getTriangle :: Triangle getTriangle = do putStr "Base: " baseStr Double calcTriangle (Triangle base height) = base * height main = putStrLn ("Area = " ++ show (calcTriangle getTriangle)) Thanks. :)

  • Url Rewriting with Querystrings

    - by Alon
    In IIS 7.5, I'm trying to rewrite a Url such as /about to /content.asp?p=about, with support for QueryString-s, so if the orginal Url was /about?x=y, it should rewrite to /content.asp?p=about&x=y. The basic rewriting is now working, but when I'm trying to add a QueryString it doesn't work. Tried both /about?x=y and /about&x=y. My current rule: <rule name="RewriteUserFriendlyURL1" stopProcessing="false"> <match url="^([^/]+)/?$" /> <conditions> <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsFile" negate="true" /> <add input="{REQUEST_FILENAME}" matchType="IsDirectory" negate="true" /> </conditions> <action type="Rewrite" url="content.asp?p={R:1}" /> </rule> How can I fix this? Thank you.

  • What algorithm would you use to code a parrot?

    - by Phil H
A parrot learns the most commonly uttered words and phrases in its vicinity so it can repeat them at inappropriate moments. So how would you create a software version? Assuming it has access to a microphone and can record sound at will, how would you code it without requiring infinite resources? The best I can imagine is to divide the stream using silences in the sound, and then use some pattern recognition to encode each one as a list of tokens, storing new ones as you meet them. Hashing the token sequences and counting occurrences in a database, you could build up a picture of the most frequently uttered phrases. But given the huge variety in phrases, how do you prevent this just becoming a huge list? And the sheer number of pairs to match would surely generate lot of false positives from the combinatorial nature of matching. Would you use a neural net, since that's how a real parrot manages it? Or is there another, cleverer way of matching large-scale patterns in analogue data?

  • Address of array vs. address of array[0] - C language

    - by user324994
My question is why does the address of an array differ from the address of its first position? I'm trying to write my own malloc, but to start out I'm just allocating a chunk of memory and playing around with the addresses. My code looks roughly like this: #define BUFF_SIZE 1024 static char *mallocbuff; int main(){ mallocbuff = malloc(BUFF_SIZE); printf("The address of mallocbuff is %d\n", &mallocbuff); printf("The address of mallocbuff[0] is %d\n", &mallocbuff[0]); } &mallocbuff is the same address every time I run it. &mallocbuff[0] is some random address every time. I was expecting the addresses to match each other. Can anyone explain why this isn't the case?
