  • What is the best XPS WYSIWYG Editor that will output XAML?

    I am looking for a WYSIWYG for XPS that will ouput the raw XAML. My intentions is use the tool for a way to quickly generate and test the XAML (of XPS documents) with the intention of then generating the same xaml in code and programmatically generating an XPS document. The same approach that many people use for generating html. Can anyone recommend any of the below products or suggest any others? Better yet does anyone know of a free XPS editor?   • R heatmaps - non-text labels?

    I am making a heatmap plot; currently the axes are labeled by index number. However, the index number corresponds to a series of 1/0s, which my group typically represents with a row of filled(1) or unfilled(0) boxes (think chessboard, though not strictly alternating colors). I'd like to use that representation instead of the index numbers. Any suggestions? I've considered simply making the labels as a plot, and positioning that adjacent to the heatmap, but I'm not finding a convenient way to do that either. I will also appreciate answers that are more generically applicable. edit - current code: map <- data.matrix(read.csv("./heatmap.out", header=F, sep=" ")) # ...some clean-up p<-heatmap(map, Rowv=NA, Colv=NA, col=grey(10:0 / 10)) this simply labels the heatmap rows/cols by index number. heatmap.out is raw numeric data.

    Hi guys, NSXMLParser is giving me the following error: "Error 65, Description: (null), Line: 1, Column: 47" I've checked the documentation, and it says that a space is required at column47??. Was hoping someone can help out on this? The raw xml file is as follows. Strangely, the parser works intermittently at times, and for the same xml file. <?xml version="1.0"?> <contacts> <known> <pid>116</pid> <abid>188</abid> <latitude>1.417320695</latitude> <longitude>103.7597807</longitude> <status>Available</status> </known> </contacts>

  • "RFC 2833 RTP Event" Consecutive Events and the E "End" Bit

    Hello, I can send out a RFC 2833 dtmf event as outlined at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2833.txt When I do set the E "End" bit, but leave it as 0, I get the following behaviour: If for example keys 7874556332111111145855885#3 were pressed, then ALL events would be sent and show up in a program like wireshark, however only 87456321458585#3 would sound. So the first key (which I figure could be a separate issue) and any repeats of an event (ie 11111) are failing to sound. In section 3.9, figure 2 of the above linked document, they give a 911 example. Here all but the last event have the E bit set. When I set the bit for all numbers, I never get an event to sound. I have thought of a couple possible thing but do not know if they are the reason: 1) figure 2 shows payload types of 96 and 97 sent. I have not nor know how to exactly. In section 3.8, codes 96 and 97 are described as "the dynamic payload types 96 and 97 have been assigned for the redundancy mechanism and the telephone event payload respectively" 2) In section 3.5, "E:", "A sender MAY delay setting the end bit until retransmitting the last packet for a tone, rather than on its first transmission" Does anyone have an idea of how to actually do this? I have also fiddled around with timestamp intervals and the RTP marker. Any help is greatly appreciated.   • forward declare typedef'd struct

    I can't figure out how to forward declare a windows struct. The definition is typedef struct _CONTEXT { .... } CONTEXT, *PCONTEXT I really don't want to pull into this header, as it gets included everywhere. I've tried struct CONTEXT and struct _CONTEXT with no luck (redefinition of basic types with the actuall struct in winnt.h.

Are you missing references to Microsoft.CSharp.dll and System.Core.dll" I do have System.Core.dll, do have I to find Microsoft.CSharp somewhere? It wasn't part of the project and it isn't in the references list.

  • decoding 802.11 b

    I have a raw grabbed data from spectrometer that was working on wifi (802.11b) channel 6. (two laptops in ad-hoc ping each other). I would like to decode this data in matlab. I see them as complex vector with 4.6 mln of complex samples. I see their spectrum quite nice. I am looking document a bit less complicated as IEEE 802.11 standard (which I have). I can share measurement data to other people.

  • NSFetchedResultsController titleForHeaderInSection with formatted NSDate

    In my Core Data app I am using a FetchedResultsController. Usually to set titles for headers in a UITableView you would implement the following method like so: - (NSString *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView titleForHeaderInSection:(NSInteger)section { id <NSFetchedResultsSectionInfo> sectionInfo = [[<#Fetched results controller#> sections] objectAtIndex:section]; return [sectionInfo name]; } where [sectionInfo name] returns a NSString. my sectionKeyPath is based on an NSDate and this all works fine apart from the section headers it gives me are the raw date description strings (e.g. 12/12/2009 12:32:32 +0100) which look a bit of a mess in a header! So I want to use a date formatter on this to make a nice header like "Apr 17 2010" but I can't do that with the [sectionInfo name] as this is NSString! Any Ideas? Many Thanks

  • Setting Sql server security rights for multiple situations

    We have an application which uses an instance of Sql Server locally for its backend storage. The administrator windows login has had its sysadmin right revoked, and instead two sql logins have been created; one for the application with a secret password and one read only login we let users view the raw data with. This was working fine until we moved on FileStreams, which requires intergrated windows authentication. So now the sql server logins must be replaced. As a result, I am now reviewing all of our logins but I am not sure how it is possible. It seems that the application needs full read/write access, yet I still need to lock down writing to the tables so the user cannot login into the database and delete data randomly. Does anyone have any tips for setting multiple levels of security using intergrated windows logins, or can you direct me to any further reading?   • Ruby equivalent of PHP's fopen() method

    I'm trying to find out if Ruby has en equivalent of php's fopen() method currently used like this: $fd = fopen("php://stdin", "r"); would that be using ARGV variable? Basically what I plan on doing is forward raw e-mail messages using the .procmailrc file which I already got working in a test php file, but the project requires the use of Ruby. Therefore I'm not 100% sure if using the ARGV variable would work or if somehow I need to capture the e-mail stream by some other means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

After calling AddressOfMember function of ITypeInfo I am facing the following exception: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x800288BD): Wrong module kind for the operation. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800288BD (TYPE_E_BADMODULEKIND)) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.ComTypes.ITypeInfo.AddressOfMember(Int32 memid, INVOKEKIND invKind, IntPtr& ppv). Any idea how to get rid of this excpetion?

  • Tracking graphics tablet input in C#

    I'm writing an XNA application with C#, and I want to be able to control the application with a graphics tablet. All I need to be able to do is track the position and pressure of the pen on the tablet, it would be nice to have some built in gesture recognition but I'm willing to build that myself if needed. My first attempt at this was to use the vbtablet library. However, when I sent this to a friend it failed to work. It seems that the underlying technology is quite old and not supported by some tablets. My second attempt is to play with the Microsoft.Ink system. This looks promising, but I know very little about this subject and I'm struggling to make it work properly - for example I can't find how to read the raw tablet input and disable mouse pointer mode on the tablet when using an InkOverlay. What's the best system to use and what good documentation is there for a beginner in this field?

The scenario is : in scroll window there are two fields Document types and type id: Document type is Dropdown list: As per document type selection type id look should display the values. For ex. If I select quote type from document type and if I open type id look up it should display only quotation in the look window. It should work for all the values of document type drop down list values. Its working fine. The item in the document types are: Quote, Order, Invoice, Return, BackOrder. The problem is after saving the data when I am displaying the same record in scroll window, suppose after displaying document type is QUOTE and document id is QTOARD, and in this position I am changing the document type from dropdown QUOTE to ORDER at this time warning message should c ome this range entered is in valid. Because in database table there is no document QTOARD for ORDER type. The same should work for all the condition. The table name is SOP_ID_Setp and key is SOP Type and DocumentID.     Hi All, In WPF4.0, I have a class that contains other class types as properties (combining multiple data types for display). Something like: public partial class Owner { public string OwnerName { get; set; } public int OwnerId { get; set; } } partial class ForDisplay { public Owner OwnerData { get; set; } public int Credit { get; set; } } In my window, I have an ItemsControl with the following (clipped for clarity): <ItemsControl ItemsSource={Binding}> <ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <local:MyDisplayControl OwnerName={Binding OwnerData.OwnerName} Credit={Binding Credit} /> </DataTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemTemplate> </ItemsControl> I then get a collection of display information from the data layer, and set the DataContext of the ItemsControl to this collection. The "Credit" property gets displayed correctly, but the OwnerName property does not. Instead, I get a binding error: Error 40: BindingExpression path error: 'OwnerName' property not found on 'object' ''ForDisplay' (HashCode=449124874)'. BindingExpression:Path=OwnerName; DataItem='ForDisplay' (HashCode=449124874); target element is 'TextBlock' (Name=txtOwnerName'); target property is 'Text' (type 'String') I don't understand why this is attempting to look for the OwnerName property in the ForDisplay class, rather than in the Owner class from the ForDisplay OwnerData property. Edit It appears that it has something to do with using the custom control.     I have a form being AJAX'd in by jQuery on a page with multiple forms. I'm performing the following function, which is a wrapper for the $.ajax function: function do_json_get(uri){ var ret = ''; var url = AJAX_URL + uri; $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: url, async: false, success: function(data) { ret = data.html; }, dataType: 'json' }); return ret; } When I go to the AJAX server directly (which is rendering the form in PHP), I get the raw JSON response - so I know the server is outputting to the browser, and the AJAX server is doing other things like setting the proper cookies, so I know that the connection is good (I get a 200 response code). Yet the data object is coming back null. What else could I be missing?

  • Preserving multi-byte characters in Flex XML object

    I'm having an issue with the Flex XML object type mangling multi-byte characters (such as Japanese or Chinese characters). The basic setup is this. I'm getting an XML-formatted string from the server, and in that string there can be multi-byte characters. A lot of the time, these characters are in attributes, for example: <example id="foo" name="[some multi-byte characters]"/> Now, when I examine the raw string, the multi-byte characters display just fine. However, as soon as I convert the string to an XML object using the top-level XML() function, all the multi-byte characters become mangled. I've tried setting the XML's encoding by including an <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> element in the XML-formatted string, but this doesn't seem to have any effect on the resulting XML object. Is there a way to get the XML object to respect the encoding of the XML-formatted string and prevent the multi-byte characters from being mangled?

  • How can Core Data store an NSData?

    The documentation says, that core data properties can only store NSString, NSNumber and NSDate types. However, a lot of Core Data users claim Core Data could also store an NSData type. But I wasn't able to see that in the documentation, although the Xcode Data Modeler allows to choose a data type called "binary" (which seems to be NSData). Did I miss something? Is there a hidden place in the documentation that indeed lists NSData for binary stuff?
