  • Defining the context of a word - Python

    Hi folks, I think this is an interesting question, at least for me. I have a list of words, let's say: photo, free, search, image, css3, css, tutorials, webdesign, tutorial, google, china, censorship, politics, internet and I have a list of contexts: Programming World news Technology Web Design I need to try and match words with the appropriate context/contexts if possible. Maybe discovering word relationships in some way. Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated!

I mean is there a way to force program to change its text rendering engine, or creating one from base? note: there is some features of OpenType like rlig liga and swash, that are ignored by programs written by .net. but I see applications, like most of font viewing programs, using Advanced OTF features. I'm pretty sure that they are created by .net technology.

    Hello, I am looking to integrate an existing product with Hawk (http://www.hawkms.com/), which our application support team uses to keep an eye on operations. I've never used the product so I was wondering if anyone could point me to some resources about how to expose performance data so that it can be monitored with Hawk.     I want to build a social network, with some of the users being able to put up some stuff up for sale. So basically, a social network + multiple sellers e-commerce. What is the best technology solution for that? I was thinking of going Rails route, using CommunityEngine and ActiveMerchant. Another option is going PHP and using something like X-Cart, which already has multiple sellers interface. Any recommendations? Thanks!

  • Is Md5 Encryption Symmetric or Asymmetric?

    For my iPhone application, Apple wants to know if my password encryption (md5) is greater then 64-bit symmetric or greater then 1024-bit symmetric. I have not been able to find it online, so I am wondering if anyone knows the answer. In addition, is this considered an appropriate encryption technology for passwords, or should I use something different? Thanks for any help!

    I've been looking for something very simple: How to make a side navigation expand with animation on page load, but all the tutorial websites I usually go to don't seem to have it.
