• Multiple Prices for a product in ubercart?

  Hi, My product is a book. Each books will be sold in 3 formats. 1) Print 2) Online 3) Print + Online All the three prices for each book will be different. If i add the book as different product. I have to add all the content like Index, Author details etc. 3 times for each book. • getting the path of a file from its grandparent folder

  i have a php file which has the followng path Shubhmangalam/admin/welcome_image_edition/delete_image.php and an image file with the follwing path Shubhmangalam/welcome_images/image_1.jpg i want to delete the image_1.jpg file which i know can be done by using unlink() method.. but the prob is that the parent folder of the .php file and .jpg file is different, and so is their level of file-system...and i cant find the proper way to get the path to delete the image_1.jpg file. now the code on the delete_image.php is accordingly <?php $image=$_REQUEST['image']; if(unlink("./../welcome_images/".$image)) echo "Successfully Deleted"; else echo "Wrong"; ?> now the above is server-scripting code, i want to delete the image by getting appropriate path.. i dnt want the actual path, but the path from the project folder that is Shubhmangalam thanks in advance

• IIS 6.0 - ASP Error 0126 Include file not found

  Hello, I have a Win Sever 2003 running IIS 6.0 which has only my main website on it and now I am trying to setup a test website which currently is an exact duplicate of the main site. When accessing my main site everything works fine, and has done for a long time. If I access the test site (through 'test.' subdomain) I get this error: Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126' Include file not found /html/shop/asp/admin/inc/incWeeklySpecialswide3.asp, line 71 The include file '/html/asp/quickfindwithSuburbs31.asp' was not found. The file actually exists, and the paths are correct. I have enabled Parent Paths, replaced the include file path to the full path (http://foo.com/html/asp -etc.), removing the ' / ' at the start of the path and changing the code from ' include ' to ' virtual '.   Hi all, My app Windows forms .NET in Win XP copy files pdfs in shared network folder in a server win 2003. Admin user in Win2003 detects some corrupt files pdfs, in that shared folder. I want check if a fileis copied right in shared folder Andre Krijen says me the best way is to create a MD5Hash of original file. When the file is copied, verify the MD5Hash file of the copied one with the original one. I have big pdf files. apply md5 hash about big file, any performance problem ??   Hi, I am using one link button in an asp.net application for delete purpose. For the confirmation i added the property of OnClientclick="return ValidateOnDelete();". By Default it works as fine. But i have One condition is that When the user is not admin, the delete button will be disabled. My problem is that, if the user clicks on the delete button when it is in disabled mode, the confirmation message will come. How it can avoid this issue?

  Hi, I have and old content database which i restored in my sharepoint 2007. But whenver i try to access web sites in my sharepoint i get error : 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. I can see the old content database at :- Sharepoint Centre Admin-Application Management-Content databases. There is no difference in the version of the old content database. • Stored Procedure with ALTER TABLE

  I have a need to sync auto_increment fields between two tables in different databases on the same MySQL server. The hope was to create a stored procedure where the permissions of the admin would let the web user run ALTER TABLE [db1].[table] AUTO_INCREMENT = [num]; without giving it permissions (That just smells of SQL injection). My problem is I'm receiving errors when creating the store procedure. Is this something that is not allowed by MySQL?   I am executing the following routine often in order to clear the local cache of many Outlook clients (Outlook 2003) in order to fix corrupted Forms stored on the users local drive. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab. Click Advanced Options. In the Advanced Options box, click Custom Forms. In the Custom Forms box, click Manage Forms. In the Forms Manager box, click Clear Cache. Is there a way I can program this to occur on the local client? I am looking for a solution that could be included in Outlooks VBScript in order to include it in yet another 'Organizational Forms Library' Forms client side validation code. Would this question better fit Server Fault Stack Exchange via an admin script/tool?

• How to search SVN repository for a file when I'm not sure where I put it?

  Co-worker is sure he checked in a file: foo_oustanding.dpr but isn't sure when/where (we have lots of "tools" and "utility" ancillary branches, lots of project branches, etc.. I need a way to search the entire repository for this file. I could check the whole source tree out to my HD, but that would take several hours. Is there a faster way? I tried the Repo Browser (Tortoise) and it didn't seem to have a search. I also thought about dumping the log, from the beginning of time. But that seemed silly. I have, at my disposal: Tortoise SVN 1.6 Subversion 1.5.6 running on Apache It runs on a Windows 2003 server. Remote Desktop access to the server, with admin rights. Thanks for any ideas.

• Using SQL Server for WSS 3.0 instead of Windows Internal database

  Hi Folks, There are actually two related questions: is it possible or advisable to use a full blown stand-alone SQL server for SharePoint Services WSS3.0 instead of the supplied windows internal database it comes with? The client I am working for is asking to utilize their existent SQL server for all WSS content databases to possibly minimize admin effort and improve performance. As well, would you advise to install WSS on one physical server and the content database on another server? Any gain in performace? Practicality? ect. The default is WSS and all of its databases are installed on the same single server. We don't really need a farm setup of MOSS, because the WSS capabilities are enough for our needs. Thanks, Val

• Django says the "id may not be NULL" but why is it?

  I'm going crazy today. I just tried to insert a new record and it threw back a "post_blogpost.id may not be NULL" error. Their names are: content_cache_key, clear_cache, __unicode__, reads, read, processed_content. I'm adding through the admin... And I'm running out of hair.

• How to handle concurrency control in ASP.NET Dynamic Data?

  I've been quite impressed with dynamic data and how easy and quick it is to get a simple site up and running. I'm planning on using it for a simple internal HR admin site for registering people's skills/degrees/etc. I've been watching the intro videos at www.asp.net/dynamicdata and one thing they never mention is how to handle concurrency control. It seems that DD does not handle it right out of the box (unless there is some setting I haven't seen) as I manually generated a change conflict exception and the app failed without any user friendly message. Anybody know if DD handles it out of the box? Or do you have to somehow build it into the site?

• Get C# Templates For VS 2008 Shell

  I've got VS 2008 Shell Integrated mode; I've got F# 2.0 on that installation. Till now this has worked fine for me because I've been hacking at F# code. Now though, I want to install Intellifactory's WebSharper. It looks like the Intellifactory templates assume that C# templates will be available because while it will create the F# portion of the solution it will not create the Web project in the solution with the complaint A problem was encountered creating the sub project 'Web Application'. The template specified cannot be found. Is there any place where I can get the C# stuff to add to this instance of VS 2008 Shell? Apologies in advance if this is a dup question but I've googled without much luck and I don't seem to find this here either. I've seen that about devenv /installvstemplates but that also fails with a message about needing to elevate privileges (which is odd since I try it under an admin user).

How would I get around this issue in the most elegant way? My current idea is to put the stuff from the Index controlleraction in a [NonAction] and call that method from both the Index action and in the CreateUser action, but I have a feeling there must be a better way.   For two different store Views using the same locale, it is easy to manage translations for miscellaneous text that's stored in CSV files. It's just a question of configuring the locale correctly so the correct CSV files will be used. But my client has entered a bunch of translations for products and categories into the admin by changing the scope to "Store 1 German" and setting the translations. But now he has Store 2, with a German store view. How does he keep "Store 1 German Store View" and "Store 2 German Store View" in sync?

I have not used the re module in Python before...so I am assuming there is a better way to do this... I am also open to a more graceful solution with Beautiful Soup ... but haven't used that either.. Just trying to keep this as simple as possible...

  Well here goes a sligtly arwkward question, I have changed job roles from Network Admin to SQL Server DBA thus having to learn SQL server 2005. I am quite self motivated and have learned the basics of Transac and a little about Reporting services. The only thing is I need to set senarios as theres not much coming in at work in the way of SQL tasks. I have always kept my interest in networking by setting little "Hacking tasks", I have has a look at some crackme's but can find nothing to play with. I understand the SQL injection is some sort of SQL hack but found not much on the subject. I know my way of learning might be a bit different from others but it is all White Hat and keeps my interest. Thanks

• Java Time Zone When Parsing DateFormat

  I had code that parses date as follows: String ALT_DATE_TIME_FORMAT = "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ"; SimpleDateFormat sdf = new SimpleDateFormat( ALT_DATE_TIME_FORMAT); Date date = sdf.parse(requiredTimeStamp); And it was working fine, suddenly, this stopped working. It turns out an admin made some config changes on the server and the date is currently being returned as "2010-12-27T10:50:44.000-08:00" which is not parse-able by the above pattern. I have two questions: The first would be what pattern would parse the date being returned by the JVM in the format above (specifically, just '-08:00' as the time zone)? And second, where exactly would one change such settings on a linux RHEL 5 server so that we are aware of such changes in the future?

  I am creating a multi user android application and it is connected to a php web service in a remote server and to a remote database via that web service. I want to keep a track of all the important activities done by the users. For an example if a user logged in to the app and changed his profile details and then logged out, a brief description of what he has done should be recorded(with time) somewhere. So then the admin of the system can see what the users are doing. So I think it is better to use log cat files and then flush all those data to a unique file in the server or a table in the database, when the user logs out or exists from his account. If it is appropriate How to do it?

• Catching Oracle Errors in Django

  My Django app runs on an Oracle database. A few times a year, the database is unavailable because of a scheduled process or unplanned downtime. However, I can't see how to catch the error a give a useful message back to the requester. Instead, a 500 error is triggered, and I get an email (or hundreds) showing the exception. One example is: File "/opt/UDO/env/events/lib/python2.6/site-packages/django/db/backends/oracle/base.py", line 447, in _cursor self.connection = Database.connect(conn_string, **conn_params) DatabaseError: ORA-01035: ORACLE only available to users with RESTRICTED SESSION privilege I see a similar error with a different ORA number when the DB is down. Because the exception is thrown deep within the Django libraries, and can be triggered by any of my views or the built in admin views, I don't know where any exception trapping code would go. Any suggestions?

• Syncronize an SVN repo (svnsync) with encoding errors

  Is it possible to fix/bypass non-UTF8 encoded svn:log records when syncronizing repositories with svnsync? Background I'm in the process of taking over the maintenance of an open source module that is stored within a large (well over 10,000 revisions) subversion (1.5.5) repository. I do not have admin access to the remote repository to dump/filter/load the module. The old repository is being discontinued and I am trying to sync the original sub module to my local (1.6+) repository with svnsync. For example: svnsync file://home/svn/temp-repo/ http://path.to.repo/modulename/ The problem is that the old repository didn't enforce UTF8 encoding and I'm hitting errors like: svnsync: Cannot accept 'svn:log' property because it is not encoded in UTF-8 I can't modify the log property in the source repository so I need to somehow modify or ignore the property value when the encoding is unknown/invalid. Any ideas? For example, is it possible to write a pre-revprop-change script to modify the log property in transit?

• Determine which process (b)locks a file, programmatically (under Windows >= XP)

  How to programmatically determine from a process P, which other process P' has a lock on a file, that prevents P from recreating that file ? I know there are tools to do that, but how do they achieve that ? (Context: a batch program that runs overnight fails because of a locked file. Running an admin tool the next day may be too late to get useful information. So it would be nice if the batch program itself was able to determine the culprit.) EDIT: Added complexity: the file resides on a DFS and P' might not run on the same machine as P (but maybe does). But a solution that works locally would be a good beginning.

• How do I get Facebook Connect to alert me when people comment on my blog?

  I'm using Facebook Connect's "Comments Box" (http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Comments_Box) to handle comments on my blog. However, there doesn't appear to be an easy way to find out when people comment - ideally I'd like to receive an email whenever it happens, but I'd settle for an RSS feed or similar. Is there an easy way to set this up? Officially as an admin you can enable "notifications" but these are just the passive things that show up when you log on to Facebook itself - I rarely do this, and anyway it doesn't seem to work for anonymous comments.
