    Hello, I'm working in a course's project to predict the velocity and position of the solar system planets (and other objects). It will be really cool if I can visualize the predicted objects data, if it's possible generating 3D images, if in video that's amazing. Do you know any library that lets me to use this data to generate an image or video? Should I create unique id for each Window instance or maybe another way?     The following Fortran code is giving me a bus error on my Mac but no errors when I run it on my Linux machine: PROGRAM TINY WRITE(UNIT=*, FMT=*) 'Hello, world!' END My understanding is that a bus error occurs when the program attempts to access impossible memory but I do not understand where such an attempt has been made in this program. My MacBook has GCC 4.4.0 and my Linux machine has GCC 4.3.2. Any ideas as to why this error occurs?

  • floating point precision in ruby on rails model validations

    Hello I am trying to validate a dollar amount using a regex: ^[0-9]+\.[0-9]{2}$ This works fine, but whenever a user submits the form and the dollar amount ends in 0(zero), ruby(or rails?) chops the 0 off. So 500.00 turns into 500.0 thus failing the regex validation. Is there any way to make ruby/rails keep the format entered by the user, regardless of trailing zeros?
