  • Porting getifaddrs to Win XP

    Hi all, I'm trying to port a MacOSX app to windows and I've come up against a problem around getifaddrs. Basically windows does not support it. I'm trying to figure a way to re-implement it (for AF_INET and AF_INET6) but the "equivalent" functionality on windows appears to be nothing like the MacOSX support. Has someone done this sort of conversion before? If so is there a nice way I can get windows to report me interface info like MacOSX does?

    Hi, I have a listview in which there should be different divider height between different rows. So, how can we set the divider height dynamically? Suppose, I have 10 rows and there should be a divider height of 5 between first 2 rows and then there should be a divider height of 1 between next 5 rows and so on.     Hi I would like to get the contents of my FB app's wall into my iPhone app. The contents on the wall are directly posted there by me and not obtained from any database. Can someone please point me to the documentation where I can get the information for accessing these messages/their comments from my iPhone app? I searched on the Facebook wiki, but it takes me to the github page for FB-Connect on iPhone, nothing where I can see all the API calls possible. Thanks.

    I'm looking for a server app to be routinely generating certificates for client applications using self-signed root. Is there any streamlined process in .NET to programmatically generate those certificates? I can, of course, keep spawning makecert or openssl, but I was looking for more programmatic, in-memory method, when you just get X509Certificate on output. If someone got a code snippet, can you please share?

  • Animated transitions for jQuery UI's sortable

    Just out of curiosity, as I haven't been able to find anything anywhere; does anyone know of a way to get jQuery UI's sortable function to animate its sorting? What I mean is, when you move an element around the sortable parent, its children, the sortables, skip around instead of smoothly animating to their new position, which besides from being an eyesore can also make it a bit difficult to figure out what has moved where. There's obviously no default option for this, but I was hoping that perhaps someone, somewhere, had a neat solution.

    Hi I'm looking for a slide effect for a navigation. But in my opinion the slide effect of jQuery is a little strange, or doesn't really fit my needs. The list items kind of appear but aren't animated (the container is only animated) when I apply the slideDown,slideUp,toggleSlide effect. I would like to have the list items animated as well. This is so we can include the gps functionality and the pins functionality. I have looked in the documentation and there does not appear to be a standard way of doing it.
