    I have a RadioButtonList with two ListItems included: <asp:RadioButtonList runat="server" ID="optRollover" OnSelectedIndexChanged="RolloverOptionSelected" AutoPostBack="true"> <asp:ListItem Value="0">100% </asp:ListItem> <asp:ListItem Value="1">Less than 100%</asp:ListItem> </asp:RadioButtonList><br /> On the first ListItem I need to have a label that displays some text from the code behind of the page. Logically it seems to me like I would be able to do something like this: 100% Obviously this does not work because I am getting an error: The 'Text' property of 'asp:ListItem' does not allow child objects. Can anyone think of a way around this constraint?

    Hi everyone, im trying to implement some behaviors when a mapview element scrolls... by coding a delegate for the scrollview inside of a mapview. so, right now, i got a pointer to the scroll view used by the map view in my code. however, i wish to set the delegate of this scroll view inside the map view, but the issue is that the mapview already sets up a default delegate for this scroll view inside the map view. can i make my delegate implement all of the messages of the protocol, explicitly sending them to the mapview's default delegate while also implementing my own behaviors? how else can i go about adding my own delegate behavior, to an already existing default delegate....? thanks everyone, michael

Just display the modal 2. Fade in the overlay Alas, simply removing the 2nd parameter of dialog.overlay.fadeIn() from the code above doesn't work. I also tried removing the parameters of dialog.container.show(), also changing it to dialog.container.open(). I've tried other combinations of the code, to no avail. How do I achieve the animation that I wish?

    In Wordpress, the Disqus plugin allows you to choose to subscribe to a post via RSS or via email. Is there a pluign similar to the Wordpress plugin for Rails. Norman's Disqus plugin just uses the Disqus site to make it work. I was hoping to have things more stored locally. For an example of what I mean, take a look at this blog entry. I already know that since Rails (this application in particular) is using Authlogic (plus Facebook Connect), that Disqus cannot be too tightly coupled with the Authentication system. Has anyone ever done this or figured out a way to do this?

  • Is there a way to add name/value functionality to jquery autocomplete for .net?

    I've recently added the JQuery autocomplete plug in and have a textbox that autocompletes a list of employees. It works great and I commend the authors of the plugin. I think the textbox would be MUCH more useful though, when upon selecting, we can extract the StaffID (Ie. retreive the value of the selection). My code is below and you can see that I am simply adding the staff names, would be nice to associate IDs. Does anyone know of any way to do this?     This question is kind of an add-on to this question In C#, a switch case cannot fall through to other cases, this causes a compilation error. In this case I am just adding some number to the month total for the selected month and each subsequent month thereafter. (simple example, not meant to be real) switch (month) { case 0: add something to month totals case 1: add something to month totals case 2: add something to month totals default: break; } Is there a logical alternative to this in C# without having to write out a ton of if statements? if (month <= 0) add something to month if (month <= 1) add something to month if (month <= 2) add something to month .... etc

    Hi. I'm trying to figure out how I can have a comment header automatically added to all new source files in my eclipse java project. I've looked around but I haven't found a simple solution to automate this process. I gave JAutodoc a try, and even though it does allow me to specify a header I still had to tell the plugin manually to inject the header and it didn't seem very fond of my keyword-subsitution. I'm by the way using the Maven2 plugin for Eclipse for most of my projects if that's any help. Any tips?
