• asp.net page flickers

  I have an asp.net webform. I have the background as an image,that when i aslo have a menu bar, when i click on an icon, it uses response.redirect() to redirect to a new page, but when it loads up the page, it seems like the background image is slow. I can see the backgroud as white first and then split seconds later the background image will load up, this causes an illusion of flickering when it redirects to a new page. How do i solve this problem? When i tested using visual studio web server, it dont flicker. I am using a background image in the master page hosted up on the internet.

  I am trying to write a loop that will cycle through colors and condense the amount of code in my scss file. Here is a simple example of what I have: $color1: blue; $color2: red; $color3: white; $color4: black; .color1-bg { background-color: $color1; } .color2-bg { background-color: $color2; } .color1-border { border-color: $color1; } .color2-border { border-color: $color2; } And so on. I am looking for a way to make the equivalent of a foreach loop, and cycle through an 'array' of colours by index. Something like this: @each $color in $color1, $color2, $color3, $color4 { .{$color}-bg { background-color: $color; .{$color}-border { border-color: $color; } I know the syntax is wrong, but that is my thinking process. • How to get the url of the page which is currently loading i the iframe

  Hi, I have an requirement that, in my application on clicking an button i have to laod one more application with the same template which i was using for my application. So, on clicking the button in my application i have used one intermediate page in that using iframe i passed that URL of an external application. Its working fine. But the problem is in the external applicatio which is not in my control on clicking an button it is moving to next page. In that page i want to hide an button. I did that also using div tag color as white and set the positions. But the problem is in all the pages in the same position that is affecting. So i want to get the url of the page which is loading in the iframe on the second or third click of an external application, so that i can using some conditions i can hide the control. So please any one help me to get the solution for this problem

  I had just taken the decision to change as many variables from unsigned to int and upon recompiling the code in question, was greeted by this warning message: freespace_state.c:203: warning: assuming that the loop is not infinite The line in question: for (x = startx; x <= endx; ++x, ++xptr) This loop is 60 lines of code (inc white space/brackets etc), and has a goto within it, and at least one occurrence of continue. In this case, I think I am appreciative that GCC is assuming this loop is not infinite, because, it should never loop indefinitely. What is GCC trying to tell me here?

• App closes after facebook login in IOS 5

  I am using facebook sdk 3.1 framework for my application. The login process works successfully and returns to the app after facebook login both in simulator(iOS 6.0 and 5.0) and in iPad(iOS 6). But When the same is deployed in IPad with IOS 5, after login, it does not return back to my application and shows a blank white Screen or sometimes my application closes. I dont know what went wrong in iOS 5 and facebook sdk 3.1 framework, also i am not getting any logs to debug... • Using CSS to positon text after an image

  I've trying to do something that I'm sure is simple, but I can't do it. All I want to do is have an image and then some text after that image, and be able to control accurately the amount of space between the image and the text. Here's my code: http://pastebin.com/fx17XUaR I couldn't work out how to paste it in here directly. In my style sheet, wrap has these attributes: .wrap { //text-align: left; width: 1100px; height: 870px; background-color: white; color: black; padding: 10px; margin: auto; I want my text to look like this directly below the image: Username Age Location Currently, I just add loads of break tags to control where I have the text, but that's messy and there must be a better way. • C# GDI - How to check if a Pixel is opaque or not?

  I am using a method to get a pixel of the image to check if this point is transparent or not. I am using GetPixel that returns a System.Drawing.Color with a 32bit color info. This struct have the "A" property where I can get the alpha value of pixel, according to this MSDN topic. Code: using (Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(path)) { Color pixel = bmp.GetPixel(0, 0); if (pixel.A == 0) // This is a fully transparent pixel else // This is not a fully transparent pixel } When I use this method with a fully transparent PNG images it returns 0. When I run with a white semi-transparent images, it will give me other values starting on 1 and up to 86, where 86 are given for images with a 100% alfa (full opaque). But with opaque JPEG images, the "A" property are giving me all sort of values like 56, 71, 86, 129, and others, depending on image. But these pixels are fully opaques! How are the correct way to check if a pixel is opaque or not?

  So ... I have an image loaded into an NSBitmapImageRep object, so I am able to examine the contents of specific pixels via a two dimensional array. Now I want to apply a couple of "transformations" to the image, in preparation for some additional processing. If I was manipulating the image manually, in Photoshop, I would: Rotate the image Crop a portion of it and discard the rest Apply a "threshold" transformation (which essentially converts the image to black and white, based on the threshold value I provide) Resample the image to shrink it down a bit (which, although losing some image quality, will speed up the subsequent processing) (not necessarily in that order) Are there objective C methods available to facilitate these specific image manipulations, with the data in the NSBitmapImageRep object? If so, can someone point me to some good examples?

Generally I put an index on any fields that i will be searching or selecting using a WHERE clause but sometimes it doesn't seem so black and white. What are the best practises for mysql indexes? example situations/dilemas: If a table has six columns and all of them are searchable, should i index all of them or none of them? . What are the negetive performance impacts of indexing? . If i have a VARCHAR 2500 column which is searchable from parts of my site, should i index it?

• Change highlighting of certain subviews in a UITableViewCell

  Is it possible to exclude certain subviews in a UITableViewCell from being highlighted or to change their highlight implementation? I added an orange warning label to the UITableViewCell for certain occassions and it highlights properly with the rest of the cell, which is good. However, when the cells stops being highlighted in an animated way, you first see the background of the warning label become white and then flash to orange. I would either like it to be excluded from being highlighted at all, or to change it's highlight implementation so it animates back to orange properly.

  If we suppose that every fingerprint is made of concentric curves (ellipses or circles) - and I'm aware of the fact that not every fingerprint is - how can I find center of those concentric curves? Let's take this "ideal" fingerprint and try to find out its center ... My approaches were to try: Find the spectrum through columns/rows of the image and try to find columns/rows that maximize particular band of the spectrum. I thought that column going through the center would have most regular pattern of changing amplitudes - therefore, most recognizible harmonic. My second approach was to try to count the changes of black-and-white also through the columns and rows, and to maximize that amount among rows and columns also. While these methods work to the some extant, with some additional filtering, they fail, when fingerprint is "not ideal as this one is". Can you think of any different approach? Are there standard ways to do it?

  4 java developers are new to iPod Touch/iPhone app development. They have an idea for an app. They have never used Xcode or Macs before. Instead of spending money for a new iMac or Mac Mini for each of them, my boss would like to sell them a $999 Apple server, hosted at a facility connected a single T1 line, and have all 4 people work remotely in Xcode. Is this feasible? Is anyone doing anything like this? Specifically, is 1 T1 enough for realistic remote app development? Would they have to work in black & white via Logmein or Gotomeeting to get decent speed? Can four people work remotely together on an Xcode project at the same time? Do they absolutely need their own Macs to connect their iPod Touches or iPhones physically to, or can they connect to their existing PCs with iTunes and install their in-development apps that way?

  Hey all. I am adding text to a textArea via Javascript in Chrome (doing it a totally different way in Firefox/IE as Chrome does not support contentWindows). Is this syntax supported? I'm trying to avoid duplication of the name in two attributes.

• Adding on touch event to images inside gridview

  I have a gridview where each item has a image and a textview (an app), i added the onItemClick to the gridview in order to launch the app, i also removed the orange selection and made selector in xml so when pressed the text would change to grey and on release it would return to white. My problem is that i need the image to apply an alpha value when pressed and restore the previous alpha on release i tested a lot of ways and none did worked correctly. I came close with the updated answer from the autor of the question: How to set alpha value for drawable in a StateListDrawable?, but some how the state pressed never gets called, i don´t know if this is because i am using the onitemClick to launch the app or not. Also i since i can´t define the alpha on imageview xml i don´t know what else to do Any help will be appreciated

On Brushes Panel under Properties Panel, there're 3 properties but no Foreground property: Who can help me? I'm so perplexed. • Navigation Bar color doesn't change back? iOS7

  I have several tableviews with navigation controller. The navigation bar is white for all the views except the last one, which is red. I have [[[self navigationController] navigationBar] setTintColor:[UIColor redColor]; in the viewDidLoad of the last tableview and [[[self navigationController] navigationBar] setTintColor:[UIColor whiteColor]; in the viewDidLoad of other table views. It works fine until I get to the last view and the color of the navigation bar changes to red. When I go back to the previous views, all the previous views' navigation bar has changed to red. Where should I put those codes so the color will remain unchanged? Thanks,
