    Hi, I have XAMPP installed in local laptop. And I have a almost static ip. I would like to give the ip to other to run it from thier browser. I configured apache httpd-vhosts.conf to listen my ip address:80 and added the virtual server with the ip address and domain root to local httdocs directory and the servername as localhost. Apache doesn't start. what should I do to access my website from external computer. THnks

    Hi there, is there a way to rebuild Mac OSX Snow Leopard's Dashboard Widget 'Web Clip' on a PHP website? Something like a crawler or scraper. I thought about using file_get_contents to getting the page content into the page, but how do I select a section on the external page? And does this work with session/login content as well?     Apple, for memory management issues, recommend defining outlets on properties, not in the attribute declaration. But, as far as I know, declaring properties exposes the class to external classes, so this could be dangerous. On UIViewController we have the main view definition and the logic, so MVC is slightly cheated in this cases. What is the beteer approach, Apples's recommendation for memory-management or armored classes?

  • Embedding existing page in a CakePHP site

    We have an existing PHP page (from an earlier project) which could be described as cryptic and ancient. It basically displays a form, catches the input and runs an external application to process the input and then pipes the output to the user. I would really like not to modify this file any more than is required. Would there be an easy way to just make this file magically work by copying it to some location in the CakePHP's directory and have it receive $POST etc. as usual?

    hi, I'm using a lightbox on a page of my website to display my nodes. I'm using some plugins such as an external simpletooltips plugin and the drupal plugin jQuery Media (to load flash video player for some video file-fields). All this stuff stop to work for the content of the lightbox, I guess because the content is not parsed... how can I solve this ? Should I trigger the plugins again ? Thanks

    In Netbeans or in Eclipse, you can use "Find Usages" or "References" from the right click context menu. If a() calls b(), using the functionality from b() will show you a(). However, what I want is to be able to see some kind of tree or have an option to see all usages of a given/class or method, such that if z() calls a() that using the functionality will show both z() and a(). Any IDE plugins or external tools that can do this?

When first stepping through my code (which calls this dll's class and method), I get an error (runtime of course) stating that the source cannot be found and if I want to step through disassembly.     Actually when I run a particular JSP page it run perfectly(with external style sheet) but when servlet return back the control through RequestDispatcher, the page is not displaying properly means it don't took the css file path. In my program the stylesheet is present inside css directory and the page is present inside another directory named JSP. The code which include the css in the program is- <link rel="stylesheet" href="../css/stylesheet.css" type="text/css"/>
