    I need to build a system which backup and restore system in which all the phone datas including audio, video, pictures. From iPhone 4.0 , there is support for accessing the videos and photos from the library . Is there any way to access the music files. I need to convert those music files into binary format .     hi every one i am iphone developer as standard registered, i installed SDK4 seed version is fine and i alos instal ios4 for my ipod touch that is register in apple for development use, so i used xcode organizer to update my ipodtouch to new ios4 every this was fine and working to upload data , but in middle is crash and didn't work , now my ipod touch is dead is not working at all and i try to restore my ipad from backup i have in itune it didn't work? so any one has solution for my problem for installing ios4 in my ipodtouch ? thanks

    Is it possible to use the Clipboard class to grab all the data from the clipboard, like full skype quotes? They use some kind of metadata I think, which is how it knows when something is a quote or not. How can I access that from the Clipboard class? What functions would I call to set/restore Skype quotations? Thanks for the help!

    Let's not go so far as to say that I'm paranoid, but I've been spending hour after hour learning how to prevent SQL injections (and XSS for what it's worth). What I'm wondering is that a SQL injection doesn't seem like it would do permanent harm to my database if I've made daily backups. Doesn't importing yesterday's copy of my tables just restore them and then I can be on my merry way?

    I am needing to upgrade MYSQL on Ubuntu, it is a production server and naturally cautious. My many googles look to be essentially saying that I need to : 1) Backup my current mysql database and tables/data 2) Uninstall current mysql 3) Install new MYSQL 5+ 4) Restore Databases/ tables and data 5) Hope and Pray I got it right ?? Something doesn't seem right, sounds like a lot of down time and risk Am I missing something / or any simple solutions? Upgrading from mSQL 4 to 5 on Ubuntu 10 Many Thanks, Rob

    Basically, I'd like to know how I can logout of my facebook session if I am in an iphone app and have connected to facebook (such that I do not have to repeatedly enter my login/password). Normally you'd disconnect in the app somewhere like in the options, but if this is not available (i.e. anything that triggers the FBSession logout method) is there some other way to do it? I'm guessing one could restore their phone to factory settings or something.

Then you want your program to continue, so you have to make sure that certain invariants are still in a a good state. However what actually occurs in the system after the exception was "handled" by a catch? The stack has been unwound at that point so how does it get to restore it's state?

    Hi, I'm getting this error when trying to restore an SSAS database from a backup: The ddl2:MemberKeysUnique element at line 63, column 4862 (namespace http://schemas.microsoft.com/analysisservices/2003/engine/2) cannot appear under Load/ObjectDefinition/Dimension/Hierarchies/Hierarchy. Google hasn't turned up any helpful solutions. (a lot of people found that installing SP2 made the error go away but this has always previously worked in our environment) I don't really understand what the error means. Can somebody interpret or suggest a fix? Thanks, Phil

    When you unplug an external monitor with a higher resolution that your macbook from your laptop, the windows mostly retain their width, but their size gets clipped to the (smaller) height of the macbook screen. When you plug the monitor back in, their size remains frustratingly small. My question is: is there any way that I can iterate over all open windows, save their size, and restore them once the monitor gets plugged in again?

I want to make the code robust to use with multiple monitors who's number and relative location can change (I want to avoid opening my application off-screen when the monitor configuration has changed inbetween invocations). I know of the Screen class in System.Windows.Forms, but I don't want to take a dependency on that assembly just for this feature.
