  Hi, can you help me with sql query? I have this problem: I have two tables "Join" table: Reservation_has_meal +----------------+ | id_reservation | | id_meal | | pieces | +----------------+ and table with data: Meal +-------------+ | id_meal | | name | +-------------+ Sample data for Meal: 1 | carrot 2 | potatoe 3 | cucumber Reservation_has_meal 1 | 2 | 5230 1 | 3 | 1203 How can I get this result for reservation with id_reservation=1: id_meal | id_Reservation | name | pcs | -------------------------------------------- 1 | 1 | carrot | null| 2 | 1 | potatoe | 5230| 3 | 1 | cucumber | 1203| -------------------------------------------- And result for id_reservation = 2: id_meal | id_Reservation | name | pcs | -------------------------------------------- 1 | 2 | carrot | null| 2 | 2 | potatoe | null| 3 | 2 | cucumber | null| -------------------------------------------- Thanks for advice.

  Simplified table structure (the tables can't be merged at this time): TableA: dts_received (datetime) dts_completed (datetime) task_a (varchar) TableB: dts_started (datetime) task_b (varchar) What I would like to do is determine how long a task took to complete. The join parameter would be something like ON task_a = task_b AND dts_completed < dts_started The issue is that there may be multiple date-times that occur after the dts_completed. How do I create a join that only returns the first tableB-datetime that occurs after the tableA-datetime?

  Hello, So when your using ASP.NET Wizards to create a login, it uses a set of auto generated tables using the aspnet_regsql.exe tool... When you create a user using the wizard it generates a very long userID "a40cf936-1596-4560-a26c-450792e2c8c0" I want to add users using another program that connects to this database... but how does visual studio auto-generate this ID. My problem, I need to write this array down, into the code.   Hey guys i'm using phpmyadmin (php & mysql) and i'm having alot of trouble linking the tables using foreign keys. I'm getting negative values for the field countyId (which is the foriegn key). However it is linking to my other table fine and it's cascading fine.
