  • System.Reflection and InvokeMember, storing type, assembly, and object in a class

    - by Cyclone
    I have tested code to call a method inside of a compiled DLL, and it works. I created a class to store the object, type, and loaded assembly, but something is lost in translation because it is unable to find the member I wish to invoke. If I create a type, object, and assembly, and properly load everything into these and perform InvokeMember on the type, it works just fine. However, when I use the things inside of my class, it throws a MissingMemberException and does not invoke the member, obviously. What am I doing wrong? The member in question is a subroutine which takes one argument, a string. This is quite frustrating. Code being called: Dim MyLoadedAssembly As New LoadedAssembly() MyLoadedAssembly.MyAssembly = Assembly.LoadFrom("display.dll") MyLoadedAssembly.MyObject = MyLoadedAssembly.MyAssembly.CreateInstance("Display.UI.Window") MyLoadedAssembly.MyType = MyLoadedAssembly.MyAssembly.GetType("Display.UI.Window") Dim args() As Object = {"test"} MyLoadedAssembly.InvokeMember("Show", args) Private Class LoadedAssembly Public MyType As Type Public MyObject As Object Public MyAssembly As Assembly Public Function InvokeMember(ByVal name As String, ByVal args() As Object) Return MyType.InvokeMember(name, BindingFlags.Default Or BindingFlags.InvokeMethod Or BindingFlags.GetProperty Or BindingFlags.Instance, Nothing, MyObject, args) End Function End Class Code inside of display.dll: Namespace UI Public Class Window Private wind As New System.Windows.Forms.Form Public FullScreen As Boolean = False Public Overloads Sub Show(ByVal text As String) wind.Show() wind.Text = text End Sub Public Overloads Sub Show() wind.Show() End Sub End Class End Namespace The root namespace for display.dll is Display. Why is my code only working when not within this class? System.MissingMethodException was unhandled Message="Method 'Display.UI.Window.Show' not found." • A problem with the asp.net create user control

    - by Sir Psycho
    Hi, I've customised the asp.net login control and it seems to create new accounts fine, but if I duplicate the user id thats already registered or enter an email thats already used, the error messages arn't displaying. Its driving me crazy. The page just refreshes without showing an error. I've included the as instructed on the MSDN site but nothing. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178342.aspx <asp:CreateUserWizard ErrorMessageStyle-BorderColor="Azure" ID="CreateUserWizard1" runat="server" ContinueDestinationPageUrl="~/home.aspx"> <WizardSteps> <asp:CreateUserWizardStep ID="CreateUserWizardStep1" runat="server"> <ContentTemplate> <asp:Literal ID="ErrorMessage" runat="server"></asp:Literal> <div class="fieldLine"> <asp:Label ID="lblFirstName" runat="server" Text="First Name:" AssociatedControlID="tbxFirstName"></asp:Label> <asp:Label ID="lblLastName" runat="server" Text="Last Name:" AssociatedControlID="tbxLastName"></asp:Label> </div> <div class="fieldLine"> <asp:TextBox ID="tbxFirstName" runat="server"></asp:TextBox> <asp:TextBox ID="tbxLastName" runat="server"></asp:TextBox> </div> <asp:Label ID="lblEmail" runat="server" Text="Email:" AssociatedControlID="Email"></asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="Email" runat="server" CssClass="wideInput"></asp:TextBox><br /> <asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="RequiredFieldValidator1" runat="server" CssClass="aspValidator" Display="Dynamic" ControlToValidate="Email" ErrorMessage="Required"></asp:RequiredFieldValidator> <asp:RegularExpressionValidator ID="RegularExpressionValidator1" runat="server" Display="Dynamic" CssClass="aspValidator" ControlToValidate="Email" SetFocusOnError="true" ValidationExpression="^(?:[a-zA-Z0-9_'^&amp;/+-])+(?:\.(?:[a-zA-Z0-9_'^&amp;/+-])+)*@(?:(?:\[?(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?))\.){3}(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\]?)|(?:[a-zA-Z0-9-]+\.)+(?:[a-zA-Z]){2,}\.?)$" ErrorMessage="Email address not valid"></asp:RegularExpressionValidator> <asp:Label ID="lblEmailConfirm" runat="server" Text="Confirm Email Address:" AssociatedControlID="tbxEmailConfirm"></asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="tbxEmailConfirm" runat="server" CssClass="wideInput"></asp:TextBox><br /> <asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="RequiredFieldValidator2" runat="server" CssClass="aspValidator" Display="Dynamic" ControlToValidate="tbxEmailConfirm" ErrorMessage="Required"></asp:RequiredFieldValidator> <asp:RegularExpressionValidator ID="RegularExpressionValidator2" runat="server" Display="Dynamic" CssClass="aspValidator" ControlToValidate="tbxEmailConfirm" SetFocusOnError="true" ValidationExpression="^(?:[a-zA-Z0-9_'^&amp;/+-])+(?:\.(?:[a-zA-Z0-9_'^&amp;/+-])+)*@(?:(?:\[?(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?))\.){3}(?:(?:25[0-5]|2[0-4][0-9]|[01]?[0-9][0-9]?)\]?)|(?:[a-zA-Z0-9-]+\.)+(?:[a-zA-Z]){2,}\.?)$" ErrorMessage="Email address not valid"></asp:RegularExpressionValidator> <asp:CompareValidator ID="CompareValidator1" runat="server" Display="Dynamic" SetFocusOnError="true" CssClass="aspValidator" ControlToCompare="Email" ControlToValidate="tbxEmailConfirm" ErrorMessage="Email address' do not match"></asp:CompareValidator> <asp:Label ID="lblUsername" runat="server" Text="Username:" AssociatedControlID="UserName"></asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="UserName" runat="server" MaxLength="12"></asp:TextBox><br /> <asp:CustomValidator ID="CustomValidatorUserName" runat="server" Display="Dynamic" SetFocusOnError="true" CssClass="aspValidator" ValidateEmptyText="true" ControlToValidate="UserName" ErrorMessage="Username can be between 6 and 12 characters."   • PHP - format bytes to kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes

    - by pygorex1
    Scenario: the size of various files are stored in a database as bytes. What's the best way to format this size info to kilobytes, megabytes and gigabytes? For instance I have an MP3 that Ubuntu displays as "5.2 MB (5445632 bytes)". How would I display this on a web page as "5.2 MB" AND have files less than one megabyte display as KB and files one gigabyte and above display as GB?

  • How can I manage the height of android spinner items?

    - by rushinge
    I have an android spinner that's populated by a list of strings using an ArrayAdapter and it operates fine, however because of the way the spinner is displayed I'm running into a display height problem with the list items. At first glance it would seem that the ArrayAdapter can use a single layout for displaying options which leads to the problem I'm having. When displaying the current item in the spinner (when the user is not selecting a new item from the list) the spinner pads the text so that the spinner is a reasonable size for clicking on. However when the user taps on it and brings up the list to select a new item, the list items presented are way to small height-wise. If I use an item layout that presents the list items at a reasonable height, then the spinner itself becomes exorbitantly huge due to it's own padding of the list item. Any ideas on how I can manage the height of these two item display modes so that effectively they display with the same height value instead of the spinner height being larger than the list item display height?

  • Dynamic Tree control in Flex 3

    - by nimmyliji
    I am looking for sample code to create a dynamic Tree control in Flex using a Collection of objects obtained from the backend(Perl cgi). So, initially the Tree will display the root nodes. Clicking root node, will invoke the data for populating the child nodes (basically adding child nodes on demand). Clicking child nodes will pull another collection add child nodes of child node. So, lets assume Initially the Tree will display - Root1 Root2 Root3 Clicking Root1 will display something like this - Root1 Child 1 Child 2 Root2 Root3 And Clicking Child1 will display - Root1 Child 1 Child1 of Child 1 Child2 of Child 1 Child 2 Root2 Root3 Is it possible? Thanks in advance...

  • How to solve/hack fading semi-transparent PNG bug in IE8?

    - by Soul_Master
    As you know, IE6 has bug that can't display semi-transparent PNG file without using non-standard style like filter. In IE7, this problem is fixed. But It still has some bug about PNG file. It can't correctly display fading semi-transparent PNG file. You can clearly see it when you use show/hide function in jQuery with semi-transparent PNG file. The background of image is displayed with non-transparent black color. Do you have any idea for solve this question by using jQuery. Update Let's see my testing As you see, IE8 always incorrectly displays PNG-24 image. Moreover, IE8 still correctly display PNG-8 image when I fade(jQuery.fadeOut function) it only. But It incorrectly display PNG-8 image when I fade & resize(jQuery.hide function) at the same time. PS. You can download my testing source code from here. Thanks,

Downloads, documentation links and more information on the Oracle SOA Suite available on the SOA Suite OTN page and as always, we welcome your feedback on the SOA OTN forum. New in Oracle SOA Suite in this release BPEL Component BPEL 2.0 support in JDeveloper The BPEL editor in JDeveloper now generates BPEL 2.0 code and introduces several new activities. Augmented XML variables auto-initialization capabilities The XML variable auto-initialization capabilities have been enhanced to support two need additional use cases: to initialize the to-spec node if it doesn't exist during the rule and to initialize array elements. New Assign Activity dialog The new Assign Activity supports the same drag & drop paradigm used for the XSLT mapper, greatly streamlining the task of assigning multiple variables. Mediator Component Time window parameter for the resequencer This new parameter lets users initiate a best-effort resequencing based on a time window rather than a number of messages. Support for attachments in the Mediator assign dialog The Mediator assign dialog now supports attachment, enabling usage of the Mediator to transmit attachments even if source and target schemas are different. Adapters & Bindings ChunkSize property added to the File Adapter header properties The ChunkSize property of the File Adapter is now available as a header property, allowing in-process modification of the value for this property. Improved support for distributed WLS JMS topics though automatic rebalancing of listeners The JMS Adapter has been enhanced to subscribe to administrative events from WLS JMS. Based on these events, it dynamically rebalances listeners when there are changes to the members of a local or remote WLS JMS distributed destination. JDeveloper configuration wizard for custom JCA adapters A new wizard is available in JDeveloper to configure custom-built adapters Administration & Enterprise Manager Enhanced purging capabilities to manage database growth Historical instance data can now be purged using three different strategies: batch script, scheduled batch script or data partitioning. Asynchronous bulk instance deletion in Enterprise Manager Bulk deletion of instances in Enterprise Manager now executes as an asynchronous operation in Enterprise Manager, returning control to the user as soon as the action has been submitted and acknowledged. B2B Ability to schedule partner downtime This feature allows trading partners to notify each other about planned downtime and to delay delivery of messages during that period. Message sequencing B2B now supports both inbound and outbound message sequencing. Simplified BAM integration with B2B B2B ships with various pre-configured artifacts to simplify monitoring in BAM. Instance Message Java API for B2B The new instance message Java API supports programmatic access to B2B instance message data. Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Certification of the File and FTP JCA Adapters The File and FTP JCA adapters are now certified for use with Oracle Service Bus (in addition to the native transports). Security enhancements Oracle Service Bus now supports SAML 2.0 as well as the OWSM authorization policies. Check the Oracle Service Bus 11.1.1.4 Release Notes for a complete list of new features. Installation, Hot-Pluggability & Certifications Ability to run Oracle SOA Suite on IBM WebSphere Application Server Oracle SOA Suite can now be deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (ND) 7.0.11 and IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0.11. Single JVM developer installation template Oracle SOA Suite can now be targeted to the WebLogic admin server - there is no requirement to also have a managed server. This topology is intended to minimize the memory foorprint of development environments. This is in addition to the list of supported browsers, operating systems and databases already certified in prior releases. Complex Event Processing (CEP) IDE enhancements This release introduces several enhancements to the development IDE, such as adapter wizards and event-type repository. CQL enhancements CQL enhancements include JDBC data cartridges and parametrized queries. Tracing and injecting events in the Event Processing Network (EPN) In the development environment you can now trace and inject events. Check the Oracle CEP 11.1.1.4 Release Notes for a complete list of new features. • Collapse Tables with specific Table ID? JavaScript

    - by medoix
    I have the below JS at the top of my page and it successfully collapses ALL tables on load. However i am trying to figure out how to only collapse tables with the ID of "ctable" or is there some other way of specifying the tables to make collapsible etc? <script type="text/javascript"> var ELpntr=false; function hideall() { locl = document.getElementsByTagName('tbody'); for (i=0;i<locl.length;i++) { locl[i].style.display='none'; } } function showHide(EL,PM) { ELpntr=document.getElementById(EL); if (ELpntr.style.display=='none') { document.getElementById(PM).innerHTML=' - '; ELpntr.style.display='block'; } else { document.getElementById(PM).innerHTML=' + '; ELpntr.style.display='none'; } } onload=hideall; </script>

  • CSS Div Width Problem - Lining divs... widths seem to be off in IE7

    - by jlrolin
    So far, I'm doing this programmatically using VB.net/ASP.net: 'Create Container Div Dim ContainerDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") ContainerDiv.Style("width") = "100%" ContainerDiv.Style("clear") = "both" ContainerDiv.Style("text-align") = "left" ContainerDiv.Style("margin") = "0" 'Create Expand/Collapse Image Dim img As New Image img.ImageUrl = Page.ResolveUrl("~/images/minus99.jpg") img.Attributes.Add("onclick", "change(this.parent);") 'Create Company Display Dim lbl As New Label lbl.Text = Parsetext(pc.NAME) lbl.Font.Bold = True lbl.Style("font-size") = "16px" Dim NameDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") 'NameDiv.Style("background-color") = "#F0D3D3" NameDiv.Style("width") = "375px" NameDiv.Style("float") = "left" NameDiv.Style("margin") = "0" NameDiv.Style("display") = "block" NameDiv.Controls.Add(img) NameDiv.Controls.Add(lbl) ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(NameDiv) Dim SetupDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") SetupDiv.Style("background-color") = "#F0D3D3" SetupDiv.Style("width") = "210px" SetupDiv.Style("float") = "left" SetupDiv.Style("margin") = "0" SetupDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'SetupDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(SetupDiv) Dim UsedDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") UsedDiv.Style("background-color") = "#CFF5CE" UsedDiv.Style("width") = "140px" UsedDiv.Style("float") = "left" UsedDiv.Style("margin") = "0" UsedDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'UsedDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(UsedDiv) Dim RemDiv As New HtmlGenericControl("div") RemDiv.Style("background-color") = "#BEE0F7" 'RemDiv.Style("position") = "absolute" RemDiv.Style("width") = "210px" RemDiv.Style("float") = "right" RemDiv.Style("padding") = "0" RemDiv.Style("margin") = "0" RemDiv.Style("display") = "block" 'RemDiv.Style("position") = "fixed" ContainerDiv.Controls.Add(RemDiv) This should give me four DIVS inside a container DIV. Here's what it's coming out as: The correct blocks above the non-inline blocks are from a table with the same exact widths as the ones I'm using on the Divs. There isn't any CSS adding pixels to them, I don't think. I need to line these up, and I can't figure out where my problem is here. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Why doesn’t ABPersonViewController show any properties besides the name?

    - by abrahamvegh
    For some reason, ABPersonViewController is unwilling to display any properties aside from the name, no matter what properties are set for it to display. I’m unable to use the AddressBookUI controllers to let a user select a contact to display, since my UI has custom requirements, otherwise I’d go that route (as Apple does in their sample project.) Here’s the code that doesn’t work — am I missing something? - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath { // ABContact is of my own creation ABContact *contact = [self contactAtIndexPath: indexPath]; ABPersonViewController *viewController = [[ABPersonViewController alloc] init]; // This returns a valid ABRecordRef, as indicated by the fact that the // controller does display the name of this contact when it is loaded viewController.displayedPerson = contact.record; // Copied directly from Apple’s QuickContacts sample project NSArray *displayedItems = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:[NSNumber numberWithInt:kABPersonPhoneProperty], [NSNumber numberWithInt:kABPersonEmailProperty], [NSNumber numberWithInt:kABPersonBirthdayProperty], nil]; viewController.displayedProperties = displayedItems; [self.navigationController pushViewController: viewController animated: YES]; [viewController release]; }

  • How do I set up MVP for a Winforms solution?

    - by JonWillis
    Question moved from Stackoverflow - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4971048/how-do-i-set-up-mvp-for-a-winforms-solution I have used MVP and MVC in the past, and I prefer MVP as it controls the flow of execution so much better in my opinion. I have created my infrastructure (datastore/repository classes) and use them without issue when hard coding sample data, so now I am moving onto the GUI and preparing my MVP. Section A I have seen MVP using the view as the entry point, that is in the views constructor method it creates the presenter, which in turn creates the model, wiring up events as needed. I have also seen the presenter as the entry point, where a view, model and presenter are created, this presenter is then given a view and model object in its constructor to wire up the events. As in 2, but the model is not passed to the presenter. Instead the model is a static class where methods are called and responses returned directly. Section B In terms of keeping the view and model in sync I have seen. Whenever a value in the view in changed, i.e. TextChanged event in .Net/C#. This fires a DataChangedEvent which is passed through into the model, to keep it in sync at all times. And where the model changes, i.e. a background event it listens to, then the view is updated via the same idea of raising a DataChangedEvent. When a user wants to commit changes a SaveEvent it fires, passing through into the model to make the save. In this case the model mimics the view's data and processes actions. Similar to #b1, however the view does not sync with the model all the time. Instead when the user wants to commit changes, SaveEvent is fired and the presenter grabs the latest details and passes them into the model. in this case the model does not know about the views data until it is required to act upon it, in which case it is passed all the needed details. Section C Displaying of business objects in the view, i.e. a object (MyClass) not primitive data (int, double) The view has property fields for all its data that it will display as domain/business objects. Such as view.Animals exposes a IEnumerable<IAnimal> property, even though the view processes these into Nodes in a TreeView. Then for the selected animal it would expose SelectedAnimal as IAnimal property. The view has no knowledge of domain objects, it exposes property for primitive/framework (.Net/Java) included objects types only. In this instance the presenter will pass an adapter object the domain object, the adapter will then translate a given business object into the controls visible on the view. In this instance the adapter must have access to the actual controls on the view, not just any view so becomes more tightly coupled. Section D Multiple views used to create a single control. i.e. You have a complex view with a simple model like saving objects of different types. You could have a menu system at the side with each click on an item the appropriate controls are shown. You create one huge view, that contains all of the individual controls which are exposed via the views interface. You have several views. You have one view for the menu and a blank panel. This view creates the other views required but does not display them (visible = false), this view also implements the interface for each view it contains (i.e. child views) so it can expose to one presenter. The blank panel is filled with other views (Controls.Add(myview)) and ((myview.visible = true). The events raised in these "child"-views are handled by the parent view which in turn pass the event to the presenter, and visa versa for supplying events back down to child elements. Each view, be it the main parent or smaller child views are each wired into there own presenter and model. You can literately just drop a view control into an existing form and it will have the functionality ready, just needs wiring into a presenter behind the scenes. Section E Should everything have an interface, now based on how the MVP is done in the above examples will affect this answer as they might not be cross-compatible. Everything has an interface, the View, Presenter and Model. Each of these then obviously has a concrete implementation. Even if you only have one concrete view, model and presenter. The View and Model have an interface. This allows the views and models to differ. The presenter creates/is given view and model objects and it just serves to pass messages between them. Only the View has an interface. The Model has static methods and is not created, thus no need for an interface. If you want a different model, the presenter calls a different set of static class methods. Being static the Model has no link to the presenter. Personal thoughts From all the different variations I have presented (most I have probably used in some form) of which I am sure there are more. I prefer A3 as keeping business logic reusable outside just MVP, B2 for less data duplication and less events being fired. C1 for not adding in another class, sure it puts a small amount of non unit testable logic into a view (how a domain object is visualised) but this could be code reviewed, or simply viewed in the application. If the logic was complex I would agree to an adapter class but not in all cases. For section D, i feel D1 creates a view that is too big atleast for a menu example. I have used D2 and D3 before. Problem with D2 is you end up having to write lots of code to route events to and from the presenter to the correct child view, and its not drag/drop compatible, each new control needs more wiring in to support the single presenter. D3 is my prefered choice but adds in yet more classes as presenters and models to deal with the view, even if the view happens to be very simple or has no need to be reused. i think a mixture of D2 and D3 is best based on circumstances. As to section E, I think everything having an interface could be overkill I already do it for domain/business objects and often see no advantage in the "design" by doing so, but it does help in mocking objects in tests. Personally I would see E2 as a classic solution, although have seen E3 used in 2 projects I have worked on previously. Question Am I implementing MVP correctly? Is there a right way of going about it? I've read Martin Fowler's work that has variations, and I remember when I first started doing MVC, I understood the concept, but could not originally work out where is the entry point, everything has its own function but what controls and creates the original set of MVC objects.

  • MS Dynamics CRM 4.0 - onChange event error

    - by Brett
    Hi I have an onChange event that keeps bringing up the error below whenever I preview it. 'Object doesnt support this property or method' I have the onChange event associated with a picklist and when a specific option is selected another field is unhidden. The code is below: onLoad: //If How did you hear about us is set to event show the Source Event lookup crmForm.SourceEvent = function SourceEvent() { if (crmForm.all.gcs_howdidyouhearaboutus.DataValue == 5) { crmForm.all.gcs_sourceeventid_c.style.display = '' ; crmForm.all.gcs_sourceeventid_d.style.display = '' ; } else { crmForm.all.gcs_sourceeventid_c.style.display = 'none' ; crmForm.all.gcs_sourceeventid_d.style.display = 'none' ; } } crmForm.SourceEvent() ; onChange crmForm.SourceEvent() ; Would be great if someone could let me know why this error is showing up? Also, this has happened on a few onChange events on the form preview but once published onto the live system it does not error. Any ideas? Thank you Brett

  • Handling HumanTask attachments in Oracle BPM 11g PS4FP+ (I)

    - by ccasares
    Adding attachments to a HumanTask is a feature that exists in Oracle HWF (Human Workflow) since 10g. However, in 11g there have been many improvements on this feature and this entry will try to summarize them. Oracle BPM 11g 11.1.1.5.1 (aka PS4 Feature Pack or PS4FP) introduced two great features: Ability to link attachments at a Task scope or at a Process scope: "Task" attachments are only visible within the scope (lifetime) of a task. This means that, initially, any member of the assignment pattern of the Human Task will be able to handle (add, review or remove) attachments. However, once the task is completed, subsequent human tasks will not have access to them. This does not mean those attachments got lost. Once the human task is completed, attachments can be retrieved in order to, i.e., check them in to a Content Server or to inject them to a new and different human task. Aside note: a "re-initiated" human task will inherit comments and attachments, along with history and -optionally- payload. See here for more info. "Process" attachments are visible within the scope of the process. This means that subsequent human tasks in the same process instance will have access to them. Ability to use Oracle WebCenter Content (previously known as "Oracle UCM") as the backend for the attachments instead of using HWF database backend. This feature adds all content server document lifecycle capabilities to HWF attachments (versioning, RBAC, metadata management, etc). As of today, only Oracle WCC is supported. However, Oracle BPM Suite does include a license of Oracle WCC for the solely usage of document management within BPM scope. Here are some code samples that leverage the above features. Retrieving uploaded attachments -Non UCM- Non UCM attachments (default ones or those that have existed from 10g, and are stored "as-is" in HWK database backend) can be retrieved after the completion of the Human Task. Firstly, we need to know whether any attachment has been effectively uploaded to the human task. There are two ways to find it out: Through an XPath function: Checking the execData/attachment[] structure. For example: Once we are sure one ore more attachments were uploaded to the Human Task, we want to get them. In this example, by "get" I mean to get the attachment name and the payload of the file. Aside note: Oracle HWF lets you to upload two kind of [non-UCM] attachments: a desktop document and a Web URL. This example focuses just on the desktop document one. In order to "retrieve" an uploaded Web URL, you can get it directly from the execData/attachment[] structure. Attachment content (payload) is retrieved through the getTaskAttachmentContents() XPath function: This example shows how to retrieve as many attachments as those had been uploaded to the Human Task and write them to the server using the File Adapter service. The sample process excerpt is as follows:  A dummy UserTask using "HumanTask1" Human Task followed by a Embedded Subprocess that will retrieve the attachments (we're assuming at least one attachment is uploaded): and once retrieved, we will write each of them back to a file in the server using a File Adapter service: In detail: We've defined an XSD structure that will hold the attachments (both name and payload): Then, we can create a BusinessObject based on such element (attachmentCollection) and create a variable (named attachmentBPM) of such BusinessObject type. We will also need to keep a copy of the HumanTask output's execData structure. Therefore we need to create a variable of type TaskExecutionData... ...and copy the HumanTask output execData to it: Now we get into the embedded subprocess that will retrieve the attachments' payload. First, and using an XSLT transformation, we feed the attachmentBPM variable with the name of each attachment and setting an empty value to the payload: Please note that we're using the XSLT for-each node to create as many target structures as necessary. Also note that we're setting an Empty text to the payload variable. The reason for this is to make sure the <payload></payload> tag gets created. This is needed when we map the payload to the XML variable later. Aside note: We are assuming that we're retrieving non-UCM attachments. However in real life you might want to check the type of attachment you're handling. The execData/attachment[]/storageType contains the values "UCM" for UCM type attachments, "TASK" for non-UCM ones or "URL" for Web URL ones. Those values are part of the "Ext.Com.Oracle.Xmlns.Bpel.Workflow.Task.StorageTypeEnum" enumeration. Once we have fed the attachmentsBPM structure and so it now contains the name of each of the attachments, it is time to iterate through it and get the payload. Therefore we will use a new embedded subprocess of type MultiInstance, that will iterate over the attachmentsBPM/attachment[] element: In every iteration we will use a Script activity to map the corresponding payload element with the result of the XPath function getTaskAttachmentContents(). Please, note how the target array element is indexed with the loopCounter predefined variable, so that we make sure we're feeding the right element during the array iteration:  The XPath function used looks as follows: hwf:getTaskAttachmentContents(bpmn:getDataObject('UserTask1LocalExecData')/ns1:systemAttributes/ns1:taskId, bpmn:getDataObject('attachmentsBPM')/ns:attachment[bpmn:getActivityInstanceAttribute('SUBPROCESS3067107484296', 'loopCounter')]/ns:fileName)  where the input parameters are: taskId of the just completed Human Task attachment name we're retrieving the payload from array index (loopCounter predefined variable)  Aside note: The reason whereby we're iterating the execData/attachment[] structure through embedded subprocess and not, i.e., using XSLT and for-each nodes, is mostly because the getTaskAttachmentContents() XPath function is currently not available in XSLT mappings. So all this example might be considered as a workaround until this gets fixed/enhanced in future releases. Once this embedded subprocess ends, we will have all attachments (name + payload) in the attachmentsBPM variable, which is the main goal of this sample. But in order to test everything runs fine, we finish the sample writing each attachment to a file. To that end we include a final embedded subprocess to concurrently iterate through each attachmentsBPM/attachment[] element: On each iteration we will use a Service activity that invokes a File Adapter write service. In here we have two important parameters to set. First, the payload itself. The file adapter awaits binary data in base64 format (string). We have to map it using XPath (Simple mapping doesn't recognize a String as a base64-binary valid target):  Second, we must set the target filename using the Service Properties dialog box:  Again, note how we're making use of the loopCounter index variable to get the right element within the embedded subprocess iteration. Handling UCM attachments will be part of a different and upcoming blog entry. Once I finish will all posts on this matter, I will upload the whole sample project to java.net.

  • Custom styled select box

    - by Ivan
    Hi to all am trying to use javascript for custom styled select boxes from www.gerrendesign.com/entry_images/selectboxdemo.zip and as I have plenty entries inside one of select box I need to make but am stuck in creation of scrolling function. As this select boxes are compatible with almost all older and new browsers. I need only suggestion or solution how to add scroll in this linked/attached files above - if select box is populated with plenty of entries (example cities, states, or exchange rates...) Am stuck here... Thanks for your cooperation Ivan THIS IS CODE: $(document).ready(function(){ // first locate all of the select tags on the page and hide them $("select.changeMe").css('display','none'); //now, for each select box, run this function $("select.changeMe").each(function(){ var curSel = $(this); // get the CSS width from the original select box var gddWidth = $(curSel).css('width'); var gddWidthL = gddWidth.slice(0,-2); var gddWidth2 = gddWidthL - 28; var gddWidth3 = gddWidthL - 16; // build the new div structure var gddTop = '<div style="width:' + gddWidthL + 'px" class="selectME" tabindex="0"><div class="cornerstop"><div><div></div></div></div><div class="middle"><div><div><div>'; //get the default selected option var whatSelected = $(curSel).children('option:selected').text(); //write the default var gddFirst = '<div class="first"><span class="selectME gselected" style="width:'+ gddWidth2 + 'px;">'+ whatSelected +'</span><span id="arrowImg"></span><div class="clears"></div></div><ul class="selectME">'; // create a new array of div options from the original's options var addItems = new Array(); $(curSel).children('option').each( function() { var text = $(this).text(); var selVal = $(this).attr('value'); var before = '<li style="width:' + gddWidthL + 'px;"><a href="#" rel="' + selVal + '" tabindex="0" style="width:' + gddWidth3 + 'px;">'; var after = '</a></li>'; addItems.push(before + text + after); }); //hide the default from the list of options var removeFirst = addItems.shift(); // create the end of the div selectbox and close everything off var gddBottom ='</ul></div></div></div></div><div class="cornersbottom"><div><div></div></div></div></div>' //write everything after each selectbox var GDD = gddTop + gddFirst + addItems.join('') + gddBottom; $(curSel).after(GDD); //this var selects the div select box directly after each of the origials var nGDD = $(curSel).next('div.selectME'); $(nGDD).find('li:first').addClass("first"); $(nGDD).find('li:last').addClass('last'); //handle the on click functions - push results back to old text box $(nGDD).click( function(e) { var myTarA = $(e.target).attr('rel'); var myTarT = $(e.target).text(); var myTar = $(e.target); //if closed, then open if( $(nGDD).find('li').css('display') == 'none') { //this next line closes any other selectboxes that might be open $('div.selectME').find('li').css('display','none'); $(nGDD).find('li').css('display','block'); //if user clicks off of the div select box, then shut the whole thing down $(document.window || 'body').click( function(f) { var myTar2 = $(f.target); if (myTar2 !== nGDD) {$(nGDD).find('li').css('display','none');} }); return false; } else { if (myTarA == null){ $(nGDD).find('li').css('display','none'); return false; } else { //set the value of the old select box $(curSel).val(myTarA); //set the text of the new one $(nGDD).find('span.gselected').text(myTarT); $(nGDD).find('li').css('display','none'); return false; } } //handle the tab index functions }).focus( function(e) { $(nGDD).find('li:first').addClass('currentDD'); $(nGDD).find('li:last').addClass('lastDD'); function checkKey(e){ //on keypress handle functions function moveDown() { var current = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD:first'); var next = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD').next(); if ($(current).is('.lastDD')){ return false; } else { $(next).addClass('currentDD'); $(current).removeClass('currentDD'); } } function moveUp() { var current = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD:first'); var prev = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD').prev(); if ($(current).is('.first')){ return false; } else { $(prev).addClass('currentDD'); $(current).removeClass('currentDD'); } } var curText = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD:first').text(); var curVal = $(nGDD).find('.currentDD:first a').attr('rel'); switch (e.keyCode) { case 40: $(curSel).val(curVal); $(nGDD).find('span.gselected').text(curText); moveDown(); return false; break; case 38: $(curSel).val(curVal); $(nGDD).find('span.gselected').text(curText); moveUp(); return false; break; case 13: $(nGDD).find('li').css('display','none'); } } $(document).keydown(checkKey); }).blur( function() { $(document).unbind('keydown'); }); }); });

  • Galleria jQuery plugin briefly shows all images in IE 7 & 8

    - by hollyb
    I'm using the galleria jQuery plugin on a site. When the gallery first loads, all of the images appear briefly & vertically in ie 7 & 8. This doesn't happen when i isolate the gallery, only when i put it on a somewhat heavy page. This leads me to believe that it happens when the page is a little slow to load. Does anybody know a way to fix this? I feel like an overflow: hidden should fix this, but I've applied it along with a height in every container I could think of. Anybody have any ideas? Here is my css: .galleria{list-style:none;width:350px; overflow:hidden; height: 70px;} .galleria li{display:block;width:50px;height:50px;overflow:hidden;float:left;margin:4px 10px 20px 0;} .galleria li a{display:none;} .galleria li div{position:absolute;display:none;top:0;left:180px;} .galleria li div img{cursor:pointer;} .galleria li.active div img,.galleria li.active div{display:block;} .galleria li img.thumb{cursor:pointer;top:auto;left:auto;display:block;width:auto;height:auto} .galleria li .caption{display: inline;padding-top:.5em; width: 300px; } * html .galleria li div span{width:350px;} /* MSIE bug */ html: <ul class="gallery"> <li class="active"><img src="1.jpg" cap="A great veiw by so and so. • jquery question - addclass to element depending on active image in rotating banner

    - by whitman6732
    I have a banner that rotates a series of three images. The active one has a display:block, while the inactive have display:none. I'm trying to match the class for the active image with an tag so that I can add an "active" class to the a tag. Having some trouble writing that function. It's adding all of the classes for each of the img elements, regardless of whether they're being displayed or not... The html markup looks like this: <div id="banner-area"> <div class="clearfix" id="promo-boxes-nav"> <ul id="banner-tabs"> <li> <ul id="page-tabs"> <li><a class="t39" href="#">1</a></li> <li><a class="t42" href="#">2</a></li> <li><a class="t49" href="#">3</a></li> </ul> </li> <li class="last">&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <div id="banner-content"> <img class="t39" src="http://localhost:8888/1.png" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; display: none; opacity: 0;"> <img class="t42" src="http://localhost:8888/2.png" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; display: block; opacity: 1;"> <img class="t49" src="http://localhost:8888/3.png" style="position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; display: none;opacity: 0;"> </div> </div> The function in its current form looks like this: $j(document).ready(function() { $j('#banner-content') .cycle({ fx: 'fade', speed: 300, timeout: 3000, next: '.t1', pause: 1 }); if($j('#page-tabs a').attr('class')) { $j('#banner-content img').each(function() { if($j(this).attr('display','block')) { var bcClass = $j(this).attr('class'); } $j('#page-tabs li a').each(function() { if($j('#page-tabs li a').hasClass(bcClass)) { $j(this).addClass(bcClass); } }); }); } })

  • Dislpay List and transformation

    - by Gary
    Greetings! I have this question. Whenever, I enter a transformation (gltranslate, glrotate, glscale) within a display list, the transformation remains as a command within the display list. Everytime the display list is rendered, it will calculate all and over again. Is there a way, I can make an opengl transformation and the transformed vertex coordinates be stored permanently in a display list instead of transformation & intial coordinates? Hope my question makes sense. Thank you in advance. Gary

    Hi, In my project I am using QGraphicsView/QGraphicsScene stuff. On my scene there will be regions that contains 2D graphics. Region count will be limited(Lets say 20) Users can choose to display one or more regions. If user choose to display one region I am going to show one region on scene If user choose to display n regions I am going to show n regions on scene I need a scaling logic to fit n regions on same scene. How can I achieve this?

  • Big Data Matters with ODI12c

    - by Madhu Nair
    contributed by Mike Eisterer On October 17th, 2013, Oracle announced the release of Oracle Data Integrator 12c (ODI12c).  This release signifies improvements to Oracle’s Data Integration portfolio of solutions, particularly Big Data integration. Why Big Data = Big Business Organizations are gaining greater insights and actionability through increased storage, processing and analytical benefits offered by Big Data solutions.  New technologies and frameworks like HDFS, NoSQL, Hive and MapReduce support these benefits now. As further data is collected, analytical requirements increase and the complexity of managing transformations and aggregations of data compounds and organizations are in need for scalable Data Integration solutions. ODI12c provides enterprise solutions for the movement, translation and transformation of information and data heterogeneously and in Big Data Environments through: The ability for existing ODI and SQL developers to leverage new Big Data technologies. A metadata focused approach for cataloging, defining and reusing Big Data technologies, mappings and process executions. Integration between many heterogeneous environments and technologies such as HDFS and Hive. Generation of Hive Query Language. Working with Big Data using Knowledge Modules  ODI12c provides developers with the ability to define sources and targets and visually develop mappings to effect the movement and transformation of data.  As the mappings are created, ODI12c leverages a rich library of prebuilt integrations, known as Knowledge Modules (KMs).  These KMs are contextual to the technologies and platforms to be integrated.  Steps and actions needed to manage the data integration are pre-built and configured within the KMs.  The Oracle Data Integrator Application Adapter for Hadoop provides a series of KMs, specifically designed to integrate with Big Data Technologies.  The Big Data KMs include: Check Knowledge Module Reverse Engineer Knowledge Module Hive Transform Knowledge Module Hive Control Append Knowledge Module File to Hive (LOAD DATA) Knowledge Module File-Hive to Oracle (OLH-OSCH) Knowledge Module  Nothing to beat an Example: To demonstrate the use of the KMs which are part of the ODI Application Adapter for Hadoop, a mapping may be defined to move data between files and Hive targets.  The mapping is defined by dragging the source and target into the mapping, performing the attribute (column) mapping (see Figure 1) and then selecting the KM which will govern the process.  In this mapping example, movie data is being moved from an HDFS source into a Hive table.  Some of the attributes, such as “CUSTID to custid”, have been mapped over. Figure 1  Defining the Mapping Before the proper KM can be assigned to define the technology for the mapping, it needs to be added to the ODI project.  The Big Data KMs have been made available to the project through the KM import process.   Generally, this is done prior to defining the mapping. Figure 2  Importing the Big Data Knowledge Modules Following the import, the KMs are available in the Designer Navigator. v\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} o\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} w\:* {behavior:url(#default#VML);} .shape {behavior:url(#default#VML);} Normal 0 false false false EN-US ZH-TW X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";} Figure 3  The Project View in Designer, Showing Installed IKMs Once the KM is imported, it may be assigned to the mapping target.  This is done by selecting the Physical View of the mapping and examining the Properties of the Target.  In this case MOVIAPP_LOG_STAGE is the target of our mapping. Figure 4  Physical View of the Mapping and Assigning the Big Data Knowledge Module to the Target Alternative KMs may have been selected as well, providing flexibility and abstracting the logical mapping from the physical implementation.  Our mapping may be applied to other technologies as well. The mapping is now complete and is ready to run.  We will see more in a future blog about running a mapping to load Hive. To complete the quick ODI for Big Data Overview, let us take a closer look at what the IKM File to Hive is doing for us.  ODI provides differentiated capabilities by defining the process and steps which normally would have to be manually developed, tested and implemented into the KM.  As shown in figure 5, the KM is preparing the Hive session, managing the Hive tables, performing the initial load from HDFS and then performing the insert into Hive.  HDFS and Hive options are selected graphically, as shown in the properties in Figure 4. Figure 5  Process and Steps Managed by the KM What’s Next Big Data being the shape shifting business challenge it is is fast evolving into the deciding factor between market leaders and others.
