  • how to figure out if the present node is the last child of the parent's node

    Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to know if a node is the last child of another, or not. I know how to retrieve the parent's lastChild name ($node-parentNode-lastChild-nodeName), but as sometimes there's many same node names within the same parent, the name is definitly not the way to find the last child. I'm looking for some kind of iterator which can retrieve the number of childs, and depending of the position of the current node, tell if the current node is the last child. Thanks!

  • floating point precision in ruby on rails model validations

    Hello I am trying to validate a dollar amount using a regex: ^[0-9]+\.[0-9]{2}$ This works fine, but whenever a user submits the form and the dollar amount ends in 0(zero), ruby(or rails?) chops the 0 off. So 500.00 turns into 500.0 thus failing the regex validation. Is there any way to make ruby/rails keep the format entered by the user, regardless of trailing zeros?

    Hello... I have a Ext.Viewport in my page... In North region, I have a Dropdown Menu... But When I mouse over a menu item, the menu items drop down but the items appear below the Center region panel. I have been unable to get this to work. I tried setting the z-index but no luck at all. Say If i have a class with a few getters and setters, a method or two, and i want those methods only to be invokable on an instance object of the class. Does this mean i should use a static method? e.g Obj x = new Obj(); x.someMethod or Obj.someMethod (is this the static way?) I'm rather confused!

Im new to Java, that why perhaps the List can translated to each of them but I dont know how can I solve this issue.
