  • Lightbox close and loading images not showing

    I am using Lightbox 2 and I have followed the short tutorial on how to insert it in a webpage and it works perfectly but the close and refresh images don't show. They are replaced with the classic Mac OS X '?' box. I have checked the paths of these images in the lightbox.js file and they are correct. Thanks in advance!

    Hi, I am using the below js code in order to change the class when a link is clicked. document.getElementById("gifts").setAttribute("class", "gkvSprite selected"); This is not working in IE but it does in FF and Chrome Then I changed the code to : document.getElementById("gifts").setAttribute("className", "gkvSprite selected"); Then it worked in IE stopped working in FF and Chrome.   • Using WebSockets in a C# Web Application?

    I know its possible to use WebSockets within C# using a console application running along side the web application but Im wondering if its possible to use the requests on the C# web application to create the WebSockets. I've been looking through ASP.Net and Im starting to think it wont be possible unless I use straight up C# and create my own HTTP server and then use the same socket object to generate Web Sockets (similar to the way Node.js and Socket.IO work). Any thoughts on ways to include WebSockets on a C# web application without having multiple servers / projects?

    I'm looking for a way to force drupal to use 1.4 on specific pages. But because I'm new to module dev overall I couldn't figure it out based on the answer.     How do I go about getting the isapi_rewrite working on IIS 6.0? My shared hosting account supports ISAPI_Rewrite - I've run the provided tests to confirm. I'm only able to access the index page of my Zend PHP project, but get the 404 error for other actions in my index controller class definition. I've basically placed the code: [ISAPI_Rewrite] RepeatLimit 20 RewriteRule (?!\.(js|ico|gif|jpg|png|css|swf))$ index.php in an httpd.ini access file in my wwwroot directory. Is there anything I'm missing?

  • Dealing with development and large javascript files?

    When dealing with websites with large amount of javascript, i see that these are still usually served to the client as one large javascript file. In the development phase, are the javascript files usually split up (say there are 300 lines of js) to make things abit more manageable, and then merged when the website is 'put live'? Or do the developers just put up with working in one long large file?

  • Symfony : ajax call cause server to queue next queries

    Hello, I've a problem with my application when an ajax call on the server takes too much time : it queue all the others queries from the user until it's done server side (I realized that canceling the call client side has no effect and the user still have to wait). Here is my test case : <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.4.1.min.js"></script> <a href="another-page.php">Go to another page on the same server</a> <script type="text/javascript"> url = 'http://localserver/some-very-long-complex-query'; $.get(url); </script> So when the get is fired and then after I click on the link, the server finish serving the first call before bringing me to the other page. My problem is that I want to avoid this behavior. I'm on a LAMP server and I'm looking in a way to inform the server that the user aborted the query with function like connection_aborted(), do you think that's the way to go ? Also, I know that the longest part of this PHP script is a MySQL query, so even if I know that connection_aborted() can detect that the user cancel the call, I still need to check this during the MySQL query... I'm not really sure that PHP can handle this kind of "event". So if you have any better idea, I can't wait to hear it. Thank you. Update : After further investigation, I found that the problem happen only with the Symfony framework (that I omitted to precise, my bad). It seems that an Ajax call lock any other future call. It maybe related to the controller or the routing system, I'm looking into it. Also for those interested by the problem here is my new test case : -new project with Symfony 1.4.3, default configuration, I just created an app and a default module. -jquery 1.4 for the ajax query.
