• asp.net regex to find anchor tags and replace their url

  Hi -i'm trying to find all the anchor tags and appending the href value with a variable. for example <a href="/page.aspx">link</a> will become <a href="/page.aspx?id=2"> <A hRef='http://www.google.com'><img src='pic.jpg'></a> will become <A hRef='http://www.google.com?id=2'><img src='pic.jpg'></a> I'm able to match all the anchor tags and href values using regex, then i manually replace the values using string.replace, however i dont think its the efficient way to do this. Is there a solution where i can use something like regex.replace(html,newurlvalue)

• Facebook canvas app showing wordpress blog in iframe - how to link to specific pages?

  Sorry for the cumbersome title. I have a Facebook canvas app that is call up a Wordpress site in an iFrame. This is fine and works as hoped but is there a way to link directly to a page within it? For example the page I want to reach is actually: www.blog.com/monkeys/ But I want to be able to use a link like this: www.facebook.com/monkeyblogapp/app_243495067635997/monkeys/ So that I can give out that URL and get people to see the right bit of content but within the Facebook environment. I have seen people mention callback urls (like this one which as far as I can tell just means having the app addresses match the website Direct links to pages in Facebook iFrame application?) but that doesn't work. • UNIX-style RegExp Replace running extremely slowly under windows. Help?

  I'm trying to run a unix regEXP on every log file in a 1.12 GB directory, then replace the matched pattern with ''. Test run on a 4 meg file is took about 10 minutes, but worked. Obviously something is murdering performance by several orders of magnitude. Find: ^(?!.*155[0-2][0-9]{4}\s.*).*$ -- NOTE: match any line NOT starting 152[0-2]NNNN where in is a number 0-9. Replace with: ''. Is there some justifiable reason for my regExp to take this long to replace matching text, or is the program I am using (this is windows / a program called "grepWin") most likely poorly optimized? The code I have tried is: r = re.compile(r"self\.uid\s*=\s*('\w{12})'") for line in fileinput.input(['file.py'], inplace=True): print line.replace(r.match(line), sys.argv[1]), The format of the variable in the file is: self.uid = '027FC8EBC2D1' I am trying to pass in a parameter in this format and use regular expression to verify that the sys.argv[1] is correct format and to find the variable stored in this file and replace it with the new variable. • Content pulled in via jQuery AJAX is not associating with previous functions

  I'm using the jquery .load() function to pull in data to populate a div with. The content I'm pulling in has CSS selectors that should match up with jQuery click functions I've written. However, when I load in the data, although the correct CSS selectors are there, when I click on areas that should invoke a response from jQuery, nothing happens. Do I need to do some sort of reload?   Why does Prolog match (X, Xs) with a tuple containing more elements? An example: test2((X, Xs)) :- write(X), nl, test2(Xs). test2((X)) :- write(X), nl. test :- read(W), test2(W). ?- test. |: a, b(c), d(e(f)), g. a b(c) d(e(f)) g yes Actually this is what I want to achieve but it seems suspicious. Is there any other way to treat a conjunction of terms as a list in Prolog?

  I'm missing something very obvious here, but I just cant see it. I've got: string input = @"999\abc.txt"; string pattern = @"\\(.*)"; string output = Regex.Match(input,pattern).ToString(); Console.WriteLine(output); My result is: \abc.txt I don't want the slash and cant figure out why it's sneaking into the output. I tried flipping the pattern, and the slash winds up in the output again: string pattern = @"^(.*)\\"; and get: 999\ Strange. The result is fine in Osherove's Regulator. Any thoughts? Thanks.

  I need to query mongodb with something like this: ("something" < X OR "something" = "nll") AND ("someother"X OR "someother"= "nll") AND z=$z AND s=1 I've tried a few things, but can't get it to work, this is what I've tried: find( array( '$or'=array(array("something"=array("$le",$X)),array("something"="nll")), '$or'=array(array("someother"=array("$ge",$X)),array("someother"="nll")) )) But that's getting me the OR overwritten, so I'm lost on that... After diggin a bit more, I assembled this code that seems to be what I need, but doesn't work either: find( array('$and'=array( array( '$or' = array( array("something"=array('$gte'=$X)),array("something"="nll"))), array('$or' = array( array("someother"=array('$lte'=$X)),array("someother"="nll")))),"Z"=$z, "s"="1"); But this doesn't work as it returns zero results and I know for sure that there are more than 2 items that match on the db. (100% certain)

• How can I retrieve monitor information?

  I am trying to retrieve the monitor ID's as shown in the Windows display properties (#1, 2... etc), but I can't seem to find a way. I have tried using EnumDisplayMonitors as well as EnumDisplayDevices. They both return something like "\.\DISPLAY1". However, this number doesn't always match the number shown by Windows, especially when 2 video cards are being used to drive 3 or more monitors. Is there an API call I am missing to retrieve this information, or is there a way to get it from the registry or somewhere else? Thanks! I have tried these methods: Win32: EnumDisplayMonitors, EnumDisplayDevices: Neither of these return monitors that aren't active, and neither one returns the correct IDs. WMI: "select * from Win32_DesktopMonitor" doesn't return all the monitors, and there is no ID. Registry: I have found the monitors in various locations, none of the places I found have the info I am looking for. Any help is much appreciated. :)

  I used to be able to this to create an exported HTML page containing some data. But the code is not working with the latest version of Google Chrome (It works alright with Chrome 5.0.307.11 beta and all other major browsers). function createExport(text) { var target = window.open(); target.title = 'Memonaut - Exported View'; target.document.open(); target.document.write(text); target.document.close(); } Chrome now complains that the domains don't match and disallows the Javascript calls as unsafe. How can I access and modify the document of a newly opened browser-tab in such a scenario?

  I have a query as follows: SELECT 1 FROM shop_inventory a JOIN shop_items b ON b.id=a.iid AND b.szbid=3362169 AND b.cid=a.cid WHERE a.cid=1 GROUP BY a.bought The only thing I need to do with this data is work out the number of rows returned (which I could do with mysqli -> num_rows;. However, I would like to know if there is a method to return the number of rows that match the query, without having to run num_rows? For example, the query should return one row, with one result, number_of_rows. I hope this makes sense!

  Hi guys I need to build a functionality that involves searching through emails in an inbox for emails whose subjects match a certain user inputted keyword. SInce I'm using the zend framework I would like a solution that uses the zend framework libraries. Aside this I have noticed that the zend libraries are a bit limited with respect to my requirements for email handling. Is there any open library available in php which can be used for handling emails - when I mean handling emails I mean like: Ease to mark and flag emails Moving of emails from folder to folder. Parsing emails searching through emails SOrting emails etc - the stuff you would require if you wished to build a web client. EDIT ========= I'm looking for a generic solution here. The emails are in a regular email inbox on an IMAP server. I need a way to be able to read through and search for emails in the inbox using any specialized library to make it easier.

• Apache rewrite_mod: RewriteRule path and query string

  I currently have a website with a standard web interface on index.php, and I made an iPhone-friendly version in iphone.php. Both pages handle the same arguments. It works fine when I manually go to .../iphone.php, but I'd like to rewrite anything on .../path/ and .../path/index.php to iphone.php if %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} contains mobile, and optionally add the query string (not sure if/when I'd need to add it). So far, this is what I have in my .../path/.htaccess: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^.+mobile.+$ [NC] RewriteRule index.php?(.*) iphone.php?$1 [L] RewriteRule index.php iphone.php [L] The problems are, it matches index.php in any subfolder, and it won't match .../path/?args… Special thanks to anyone who can correct/simplify/optimize anything =)

• ASP.net Usercontrol caching viewstate across users?

  I have a usercontrol with asp:textbox controls on it that also performs postbacks. If two users, who are both identified by a different session variable, postback the page within the same second, one user will see the other user's viewstate values in the text boxes. I have validated that this happens by setting a textbox, a session variable, and a cookie to the same value (the same value that identifies the user) and writing to the log when all three don't match. The text box's value is the one that is logged as the other user's value. ASP.net 3.5, IIS 6 Has anyone experienced this issue.

  This is staight forward I believe: I have a table with 30,000 rows. When I SELECT DISTINCT 'location' FROM myTable it returns 21,000 rows, about what I'd expect, but it only returns that one column. What I want is to move those to a new table, but the whole row for each match. My best guess is something like SELECT * from (SELECT DISTINCT 'location' FROM myTable) or something like that, but it says I have a vague syntax error. Is there a good way to grab the rest of each DISTINCT row and move it to a new table all in one go?

  I am trying to figure out why a regex with negative look ahead fails when the "single line" option is turned on. Example (simplified): <source>Test 1</source> <source>Test 2</source> <target>Result 2</target> <source>Test 3</source> This: <source>(?!.*<source>)(.*?)</source>(?!\s*<target) will fail if the single line option is on, and will work if the single line option is off. For instance, this works (disables the single line option): (?-s:<source>(?!.*<source>)(.*?)</source>(?!\s*<target)) My understanding is that the single line mode simply allows the dot "." to match new lines, and I don't see why it would affect the expression above. Can anyone explain what I am missing here?

• PHP Scale image and then create image of specific size

  The result I am trying to achieve is that the user can upload an image of any size, and the server side script will convert it to an image that has the dimension 1024x512. To save the aspect ratio of the image I first scale the image down by either the width or height to match the wanted dimensions. to do this I am using imagecopyresampled(): imagecopyresampled( $new_img, $src_img, $dst_x, $dst_y, 0, 0, $new_width, $new_height, $img_width, $img_height ) && $write_image($new_img, $new_file_path, $image_quality); If we take an image that is 1920x1200 as an example, the outputted image will be 819x512. However I still need a final result of 1024x512 so I want to add white borders to the image to will the width to 1024. How can I correct my imagecopyresampled function to acheive this?

In this code below, why is it not possible to do this in one line? public IEnumerable<T> GetAll<T>(Expression<Func<T, bool>> filter) { IEnumerable<T> allCustomers = this.GetAll<T>(); IEnumerable<T> result = allCustomers.Where(filter.Compile()); return result; } Won't this result in 2 SQL statements: one without a where clause that retrieves all rows, and one with a where clause that only retrieves the rows that match the predicate? How can this be done with a single SQL statement? I can't get it to compile if I try to cast the filter.Compile() to Func<Customer, bool>. Thanks, Andy
