    Hello, I'm going to develop gui-based application for tor controlling (like vidalia or torK). Are there any libraries for using tor? I don't want to parse each byte of information from sockets. My program should display branches of computers, use chosen as traffic-provider etc. What I need in my case? Are there any small and simple samples (for example open-source projects) to do this.

  • how does a research topic fit into a program?

    My project is supposed to be about creating a program to help put a math test online. The program should generate questions that vary on each run of the test, and it should grade the test after someone takes it. (I found out recently that there's a system that can do some of the tasks already, but I don't think many people know how to use it) What type of research could be involved? I need to find a research article that relates to my project, and I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what type of subject to look for.

  • Using custom .jar's in your java project

    Hi guys, I'm importing from two jar's twitter4j-2.0.10.jar and mysql-connector-java-5.1.10-bin.jar, I'm running the code on a server but it's not letting me. I get a.. Streamer.java:9: package twitter4j does not exist import twitter4j.StatusDeletionNotice; ^ error when compiling. I know this has something to do with getting java to recognise my custom jar's but I don't know how to get java to "see" them. Any ideas?

    Here's my index action in the books controller: http://pastebin.com/XdtGRQKV Here's the view for the action i just mentioned: http://pastebin.com/nQFy400m Here's the result without being logged in: http://i.imgur.com/rQoiw.jpg Here's the result when i'm logged in with the user 'admin': http://i.imgur.com/E1CUr.jpg So the problem is that, in the view, before line 25 the 'user' variable seems to be empty ( or not loaded), and after line 25 the variable 'user' has the expected values. I have tried initializing a variable in the index method of the books controller but get exactly the same results. Thanks in advance! BTW had to make the links text because of stackoverflow limit.

    Hello! I'm starting to learn MVC 2.0 and I'm trying to create a site with a quiz: user is asked a question and given several options of answer. If he chooses the right answer he gets some points, if he doesn't, he looses them.     I am trying to write a simple program, preferably in C, that will watch a given directory. Whenever a process accesses that directory, I just want to print out the name of that process. It seems simple, but I am coming up short for solutions on MSDN. Does anyone know which library calls I will need for this, or any helpful advice? I have considered repeatedly querying for what processes have handles on the given directory and just watching for additions to that list.This approach just seems very intensive and I am hoping there is an easier way.     I know this isn't a question about a specific snippet of code or anything, but here goes - I've been messing around with the idea of learning Python since I'm pretty bored with PHP (and web development in general), but I can't think of any projects to help me learn. I've already worked through some of Project Euler with Python, but it's getting old. I know the basics, and I want to write something more fun that will introduce me to new things in Python. Is there a cliche beginner project for Python? (for example, PHP's would be a blog or something similiar) Are there any common Python projects for newcomers, or any uncommon ones that you'd suggest?   • Update an app from other iTunes/Computer without losing the Documents folder

    Hello, Our inHouse tech have installed our own app to some of our iPods 3.x devices. Now, we have to update that app but WIHTOUT LOSING the data that has been entered by users. The problem is that the computer who installed those app and syncronyzed, isn't working now, and when we try to update them from another computer, iTunes insist in deleting ALL apps and documents app from iPods and add the new ones. I suppose that this action will erase ALL documents from the app, so we will lose the data. What can we do ? thanks, m. ps. those devices have currently an AdHoc profile

  • Manage build target variables in iphone project

    We're transitioning to an automated build process for our iphone projects. These projects can be checked out by individual devs, in which case all the API URLs need to point to a certain path. There are also a variety of build environments, each with their own API root paths. I could probably add multiple, different build targets, and have each of them include a different URLs definition file, but this seems like a lot of upkeep and a bit overkill. Any best practices out there for swapping a few environmental variables for different build environments without much fuss?

    Hi, I am doing this iPhone app that works fine on the simulator. However, when I run it on a device in debug mode, it just crash without any error messages. How can I debug that? I heard about a flag we can set to help with this kind of situation but not sure what that flag is and how to set it.     Trying to write a deployment script, working on a repo in a different path. The "git-dir" flag seems to work fine for most commands, but not for submodule work. Am I missing a path directive?
