  • Change post form data function into curl

    Hello Guys, In the old way in our website, when users clicks “logout” button. It runs a post form function; which will pass parameters (logout, sn) to external sites to execute “logout” function. Like: I do not want the users jump to the external site, therefore, i use curl to post data.     I'm using spring4gwt in my project. I have the following login service implementation: @Service("loginService") public class LoginServiceImpl extends RemoteServiceServlet implements LoginService { @Override @Transactional(propagation = Propagation.REQUIRED, rollbackFor = Exception.class) public UserBean checkUser(String userName, String password) throws Exception { HttpSession httpSession = getThreadLocalRequest().getSession(); } } When i call the loginService.checkUser("test","test") (In hosted mode), I get a null pointer exception, as getThreadLocalRequest() returns NULL instead of the actual session. I didn't try in web mode yet. Why would I get a null session ? Does it have something to do with spring4gwt ? Thank you

    I have a form that check if email exists in the database within 2 tables. I'm using Zend_Validate_Db_NoRecordExists for both validate, but it only check the second one. I've got that all done and dusted, but it just seems really long winded on the PHP side of things.   • Creating dynamic icons based on data entered into database from django forms

    So I'm using Django to create a projects page with multiple forms for each project. Let's call them form 1, 2, 3, and 4. Once you create a project you can fill out any of these forms. I want to create "buttons" or links for each one of the forms that would show up on the main page. Now this is the part I need help with: Step 1. I want it so that if you click on a button for a form (say form 1) and none exists for that project yet a pop up would come up saying "This form does not exist yet, are you sure you want to create one?". And if you'd answer yes you would be directed to the form page. Step 2. But if that form does exist, I don't want any pop up to open and I want the link to take the user directly to that page. Step 3. My next problem is this. These forms are in order, so if you didn't create form 1 but created form 2, I don't want to give the user access to form 1. So in this scenario, if you click on form 1 I want a pop up to open and say "This form can no longer be created", and the link wouldn't function anymore. Basically the button will have 3 function. First it should look at the database and if data for that specific form exists it should do "Step 2", if data for that form and the proceeding forms don't exist it should do "Step 1", and if data for that form doesn't exist but data for proceeding form's does exist is should do "Step 3". Is this possible? Please help as I need to find a solution to this soon. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you

  • How do I clear MVC client side validation errors when a cancel button is clicked when a user has inv

    I have a partial view that is rendered within a main view. The partial view takes advantage of System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations and Html.EnableClientValidation(). A link is clicked, and div containing the partial view is displayed within a JQuery.Dialog(). I then click the save button without entering any text in my validated input field. This causes the client side validation to fire as expected, and display the '*required' message beside the invalid field. When the cancel button is clicked, I want to reset the client side MVC validation back to it's default state and remove any messages, ready for when the user opens the dialog again. Is there a recommended way of doing this?

    What I have so far: I have a form in PHP that contain the following: <input type="submit" id="0" name="0" value="This button"> <input type="submit" id="1" name="1" value="This button"> <input type="hidden" id="response" name="response" value="150"> The problem: I would like to send the response value together with either name=1 or name=0, depending on which button the user submit. However, this should be done using the keyboard letters A and S. If a user press the letter A then the value 0 should be submitted, and if S is pressed then the value 1 should be sent.   • Picture Box and Form Transparency

    Maybe I am missing something, but is it the case that when you set a pictureboxes background to transparent, all it really does is set it to the same color as the forms background? What I am trying to do is draw an animation for the benefit of this, a bouncing ball - which I paint on the form, then overlay that with a picture frame. End result should be a bouncing ball in a picture frame, I should mention that the picture frame does not have a straight edge, so it is not possible to arrange 4 picture boxes in a frame. The ball needs to vanish behind the frame to change color and then magically bounce back out. I have tried: 1.Setting the picture box background to pink and then key out the same pink, this basically cuts away everything, including that which is behind the picture box 2.Setting the picture box to transparent, this just displays the picture box background as the same color as the forms background. 3.I have tried painting the image in a rectangle, this had the same effect as drawing it in a picture box. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I am wondering if there is any other ways I could try or if someone has made a custom control or library that supports transparency?

My class is annotated with org.springframework.transaction.annotation.Transactional like this: @Transactional(readOnly = true) public class MyClass { I then have a dao class: @Override public void delete(final E entity) { getSession().delete(entity); } @Override public void save(final E entity) { getSession().saveOrUpdate(entity); } Then I have two methods in MyClass @Transactional(readOnly = false) public void doDelete(Entity entity){ daoImpl.delete(entity) } //@Transactional(readOnly = false) public void doSave(){ daoImpl.save(entity) } Saving and deleting works like a charm. But if I remove the @Transactional(readOnly = false) on doDelete method deletion stops working, Saving works with and without the method annotation. So my question is: WHY?

    I have a jqgrid plugin which I call via Ajax. I have index.php and a getGridData.php. How will I pass form input in getGridData.php via ajax and use it in getGridData.php? I tried serialize but I can't pass or access it on getGridData.php. I need it as parameters for mysql.   • Why is my SAX handler returning an object with no values? I am setting it just fine

    I'm writing a SAX parser for an xml, and the object it returns doesn't have the values that I am setting in the events. My classes structure is like this: public class ProductSAXHandler extends DefaultHandler { private Product product; public ProductSAXHandler() { product = new Product(); } public Product ParseXmlFile(String xml) { SAXParserFactory spf = new ... XMLReader parser = .... parser.parse(xml); return product; } public void StartElement(....) { for(int ...) { // looping through attributes if(qName == "description" && name == "sku") { product.setSKU(value); } } } } When I am in debug mode, the value of product does get set, and I can see that the product's sku field has the correct value. But for some reason the product object returned is just a new Product object with no values set during the parsing. What am I doing wrong here? It must be me not understanding how these events are fired etc.

    This is one of those "seems obvious" as how to do, but came across interesting side effect in implementing. I'm trying to keep two text boxes syncronized when information is updated. In this example, I will be using txtStartDate and txtEndDate. If the txtStartDate is changed, then the txtEndDate should should be updated. Likewise, if the txtEndDate changes, I want the txtSartDate to be updated. The side effect I'm comming across is that when I set them up under the TextChanged event for both, the events seem to retrigger against each other indefinately (endless loop?). Am I using the wrong event? Is this a task for a delegate?

Where should i store the avatar file? first of all i was saving all the files in src\main\webapp\resources , but each time i redeploy that folder empties. so i dedide to place in an other location : c:\wwwdir\resources, but i can't link local resources from remote pages, so i was not able to display any avatar . any idea? advise? link?
