    Hi, I am trying to install Subclipse plugins for eclipse IDE. I have installed it but on restart of the IDE, it throws up the following error: Failed to load JavaHL Library.     When I think of pretty much any programming language - like C, C++, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, Python, ActionScript, Haskell, Lua, Lisp, Java, etc - I'm like awesome I would love to develop a computer application using any of those languages. But when I think of web frameworks(I do mostly PHP) - like Cake, CI, Symfony, Laravel, Zend, Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, Rails, Django, etc - I'm like god no. Why aren't there web frameworks that provide me with simple, fun and powerful constructs like a programming language?

Pretty interesting I thought. So the start screen is basically a shortcuts screen on steroids, much nicer looking and with tile notifications.

    I do not want NetworkManager to list or manipulate my wireless card. Can I hide its interface from NetworkManager somehow?   • I just don't know what it is, tried everything, IE 7 bug

    Has anyone seen this bug? I have a sidebar with a ul nav background image for the hover state, floated right, looks great in all browsers. Then...I added another div underneath it for ad space. inside, there's an anchored image. That image tucks underneath the background image of the nav, but only in IE7 (i abandoned trying to please ie6). So I took it out of the sidebar, played with float, display,height hacks, but nothing works I can declare a large top margin with some more top padding do get it to clear but it breaks the design. i even tried creating a div called clear and put a top margin there. so it displays with this huge gap in chrome, FF, safari but this tiny space between in IE. i even tried creating a div called clear and put a top margin there. I have spent hours trying to find someone with the same problem but to no avail. Any suggestions?   • Is there a jQuery lightbox plugin that has thumbnails inside the box?

    I'm trying to find a lightbox style plugin in jQuery that displays thumbnails at the bottom of the picture (or video, or whatever). I found plenty of lightbox plugins, but none that allows navigation by thumbnail inside the box. The plugin must be able to open images, swf and inline content. I realize that jQuery will not be able to generate the thumbnails and that's ok. Do you have any good ones to suggest? Thanks

    I have VS2010 Ultimate on my dev machine, along with ReSharper, VSCommands2010 and few others. settings for vs2010, resharper, and other plugins get reset every once in a while - so i have to go in and set them up again, then restart VS for new settings to kick in. examples of settings i'm talking about: *resharper intellisense ingreation *resharper highlite current line *resharper participation in customer program (systray icon) *VSCommands2010 regex solution name *etc. is it possible to make VS remember all those settings once and forever.

    I added a FB Like button to my Wordpress template, and when I click Like, I receive an error, which pops up and says: There was an error liking the page. If you are the page owner, please try running your page through the linter on the Facebook devsite (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lint/) and fixing any errors. The Lint Checker (now) gives no Error or Warnings, after I removed a duplicate og:description tag. Why is it not working?

    I am working on a simple Wordpress blog where when an article is published, it appears on ALL these pages: Homepage - Headline(clickable) + 3-line summary Parent category page - Headline(clickable) + 3-line summary Child category page - Headline(clickable) + 3-line summary Author page - Headline(clickable) sitemap.xml I've been told that I should add all author pages to my robots.txt, under disallow, so as search engine bots do not spider /author/* since all links on these pages are available elsewhere. Is this a good approach or maybe rel=nofollow is better, or maybe I shouldn't worry about this at all?

    Yesterday I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on my Macbook 4.1 and just after installing the isight firmware by following the instructions here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MactelSupportTeam/AppleiSight everything was working fine. I got AppleUSBVideoSupport from here http://turanct.wordpress.com/2010/06/ But afterwards I installed a bunch of updates (around 300) and after rebooting Isight isn't working anymore. I redid what is on that website above, I added the ppa sources and upgraded but no luck :( Can anyone help!?! I really need to use the webcam as my dears are abroad. Thanks a zillion

  • Help writing server script to ban IP's from a list

    I have a VPS that I use as an openvpn and web server. For some reason, my apache log files are filled with thousands of these hack attempts: "POST /xmlrpc.php HTTP/1.0" 404 395 These attack attempts fill up 90% of my logs. I think it's a WordPress vulnerability they're looking for. Obviously they are not successful (I don't even have Wordpress on my server), but it's annoying and probably resource consuming as well. I am trying to write a bash script that will do the following: Search the apache logs and grab the offending IP's (even if they try it once), Sort them into a list with each unique IP on a seperate line, And then block them using the IP table rules. I am a bash newb, and so far my script does everything except Step 3. I can manually block the IP's, but that's tedious and besides, this is Linux and it's perfectly capable of doing it for me. I also want the script to be customizable so that I (or anyone else who wants to use it) can change the variables to suit whatever situation I/they may deal with in the future. I don't care if it utilizes UFW or IPTables directly, as long as it bans the IP's. I'd probably run it as a cron task. What I'm having trouble with is understanding how to use line of the result file as a seperate variable to do something like: ufw deny $IP1 $IP2 $IP3, ect Any ideas? Thanks.

    Title was a little hard to work, but take this as an example. User goes to site, creates account, and then has his/her own profile to edit. Let's say the profile includes height, weight, sex, eye color, etc.. I've really only used wordpress before, but I'm sure something else would cater to this better.   • Getting a lot of backslash underscore errors from webmaster tools

For some reason Webmaster tools is crawling my website and showing a lot of 404 errors which are from "/_" like additional pages that's i've never created.
