• Custom configuration file custom_config.js not working?

  Hello gals/guys, I am trying to use a custom configuration file instead of the default config.js file in the ckeditor root. I have placed a renamed copy of the config.js file in my webroot and call it with customConfig. It is not working for me though. Is my syntax creating any issues? • How to Add a Dynamic Layer to an Esri Map Control Programatically in WPF?

  Just as the question asks. I have an Esri map control and want to add a Rastor image to the control in WPF and don't know how to do it. I see that I can add layers to the Map control, but is there a way to add a Raster image to a map control? • Android use of an string array on another method

  Hi all. Im trying to make an activity that has a multiple choice dialog after you push a button. In there you select from a list of things. But these things are received from a web method before the dialog appears. So I create a string array after I receive them inside the onCreate to initialise it there with the correct size. But my dialog method then cant get the array because propably its out of its scope. My code looks like this @Override protected Dialog onCreateDialog(int id) //Here is where the array is loaded to the multiple select dialog etc @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) //Here is where i initialise the array and get its contents etc I cant initialise my array when the class starts because I dont know its size yet. This has to do something with the scopes of my variables and I am pretty confused

• SSIS - SharePoint to SQL without Adapter Addin?

  Hey all, Im looking to Extract a SharePoint List (WSS 2.0) to a SQL(2005) Table using SQL Server Integrated Services. First off I am aware of the "adapter" that does this from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd365137.aspx however I'm just wondering for compatibility purposes if it can't just be done "out of the box". There are only a limited number of "Data Flow Sources" to select as alternatives and I am unsure if any of these would be able to work in a similar way either directly to SharePoint or via SharePoints web services (e.g. http://server_name/_vti_bin/Lists.asmx) From the list of these sources it looks like the best option would be the OLE DB connector, but not sure how it would do this. Any help you have would be great, Mark

• iPhone, special characters in JSON Response

  Writing an iphone app, and I'm getting my data from a REST API that returns JSON. My problem is, some of the data has special characters embedded and Im getting errors. Example: MartÌn Petite-RiviËre-Saint-FranÁois Here is my current code: NSString *jsonString = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:receivedData encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; NSMutableArray *tempResults = [[[jsonString JSONValue] objectForKey:@"getRegionResortsLastUpdatedResponse"] objectForKey:@"return"]; Whenever the data has special characters in it "jsonString" return "(null)", otherwise everything works fine. Is this something I can handle on my end, or does the API need to be modified to output the character codes?

• Problem with Wicket and SignInExample in IE8

  I have an interesting problem with Wicket. I'm basically duplicating the 'authentication' example from the v1.4.x in SVN. It works fine in FireFox and Chrome but not in IE8. When in IE8, after I click the submit button it returns with a 404 error but i can manually paste the "destination" url in and it goes there fine (as an authenticated user). Another scenario is, I try to login, it gives me a 404, I hit refresh (looking at the html source I see the page version incremented), relogin and it works fine. So to summarize: I login the first time in IE8 and it returns a 404 error, hit refresh and ogin again and it works fine. I login the first time in IE8 and it returns a 404 error, manually paste the destination url in the browser and it goes there fine as if im logged in. I've compared everything between IE8 and FireFox from the rendered source and the code is not doing anything special but I cannot figure out what the differences are? Thanks. KJQ

• HTML, PHP No data in drop down box

  Hey, I am trying to figure out why a website's drop down box will not show any options. The data file for this drop down box comes from a microsoft access .mde file. The file is present and after the last update was working fine. Some changes happened to the site, i.e. text got added along with some photos. Im not saying this was when the drop down box went bad, but when it was discovered these were the only changes made. The data file seems fine as it is worked with everyday. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to begin looking for the bug?   I'm new to cookies, and im trying to set a cookie where to store the referer (the org ref). But when i use this and lets say i go to another page in my site and then go back to the homepage its sets a new cookie with the exact same name and with the ref of the previous page. Is there away to avoid this?

• Does iOS 4 Have "Real" Multitasking?

  Ever since the first beta came out I've been trying to find out if "real" multitasking is possible. I.E., can you put a program in the background and have it hang on to a network connection indefinitely? I'm thinking about IM or IRC apps, for example. I've compiled an app myself on OS 4, and without changing a thing it appeared to stay running in the background, but for all I know it was just suspended to memory. The docs say the best you can do is request up to 10 minutes, but in the developer presentation they showed off Skype sitting in the background and then notifying the user that a call was coming in. Does anyone know for sure how this is all going to work?

  hello everyone i have a complex query to be written but cannot figure it out here are my tables Sales --one row for each sale made in the system SaleProducts --one row for each line in the invoice (similar to OrderDetails in NW) Deals --a list of possible deals/offers that a sale may be entitled to DealProducts --a list of quantities of products that must be purchased in order to get a deal now im trying to make a query which will tell me for each sale which deals he may get the relevant fields are: Sales: SaleID (PK) SaleProducts: SaleID (FK), ProductID (FK) Deals: DealID (PK) DealProducts: DealID(FK), ProductID(FK), Mandatories (int) for required qty i believe that i should be able to use some sort of cross join or outer join, but it aint working here is one sample (of about 30 things i tried) SELECT DealProducts.DealID, DealProducts.ProductID, DealProducts.Mandatories, viwSaleProductCount.SaleID, viwSaleProductCount.ProductCount FROM DealProducts LEFT OUTER JOIN viwSaleProductCount ON DealProducts.ProductID = viwSaleProductCount.ProductID GROUP BY DealProducts.DealID, DealProducts.ProductID, DealProducts.Mandatories, viwSaleProductCount.SaleID, viwSaleProductCount.ProductCount the problem is that it doesnt show any product deals that r not fullfiled (probably because of the productid join). i need that also sales that dont have the requiremnets show up, then i can filter out any saleid that exists in this query "where AmountBought thank you for your help

  Given this table structure, I want to flatten out the many-to-many relationships and make the values in the Name field of one table into column headers and the quantities from the same table into column values. The current idea which will work is to put the values into a Dictionary (hashtable) and represent this data in code but im wondering if there is a SQL way to do this. I am also using Linq-to-SQL for data access so a Linq-to-SQL solution would be ideal. • sharpziplib - can you add a file without it copying the entire zip first?

  Im trying to add an existing file to a .zip file using sharpziplib - problem is, the zip file is 1GB in size. When i try to add 1 small file (400k) sharpziplib creates a copy/temp of the orig zip file before adding the new file - this poses a problem when the amount of free disk space is less than 2x the zip file you are trying to update. for example: 1GB zip myfile.zip 1GB zip myfile.zip.tmp.293 ZipFile zf = new ZipFile(path); zf.BeginUpdate(); zf.Add(file); // Adding a 400k file here causes a 1GB temp file to be created zf.EndUpdate(); zf.Close(); Is there a more efficient way to do this? • Rollback to a specific moment with PostgreSQL

  Hi, Is there a way to rollback to a specific starting point. Im looking for something like this. Start specific_point; Now after this, an other application connected with the SAME login will insert & delete datas (webservices with crud operations) for about 2 minutes doing tests. Each webservice call is declared as a transaction with Spring Ws. After that i want to rollback to the specific_point to have a clean database to a known previous state. I was thinking that ROLLBACK TO SAVEPOINT foo; was the solution but not unfortunately? Any idea ? Configuration: PostgreSQL 8.4 / windows XP Regards

• RSA encrypted data block size

  how do you store an rsa encrypted data block? the output might be significantly greater than the original input data block size, and i dont think people waste memory by padding bucket loads of 0s in front of each data block. besides, how would they be removed? or is each block stored on new lines within the file? if that is the case, how would you tell the difference between legitimate new line and a '\n' char written into the file? what am i missing? im writing the "write to file" part in python, so maybe its one of the differences between: open(file,'w') open(file,'w+b') open(file,'wb') that i dont know. or is it something else?

Something like this - */15 * * * * /usr/bin/php /a/b/c.php parameter1 parameter2 parameter3 parameter4 Now i tried working this up but my file is not executing. What im concerned about is that how will my php file will fetch these parameters ?? And how will i write this command when there is only 2 parameters to be passes parameter1 and parameter4??? and how will my cron and php will recognoze that which parameter is for which data and all?? please advice!!

• Add results from MySQL?

  Not quite sure how descriptive that title was but this is what I want to do. I scripted a URL shortener today and it's working fine, I just want to add some stats on the bottom of it saying how many links there are and how many clicks there are. Now everytime a user clicks one of the links it +1 the column in the database then it redirects the user. I want to query that and add all of those numbers together from each row. I attempted a while loop which im not surprised didn't work: while($rows = mysql_fetch_assoc($check_count)){ $clicks = $rows['clicks']; $clicks = $clicks+$clicks; } If you don't understand please ask and if you do understand it means alot for any response!

  Hello all! I am new to web services and i have a question: Should a web service be able to access the client database? Sorry if i am not using the proper terms. Lets say i have a web service method called : GetCarDetails(string name) which will actually return details from car table. in this method i have an sql statement like SELECT * FROM car WHERE name = ?. In the client application, i have a textbox where i can input a name and a button on which when i click, fill a gridview.   Hi.. I'm having a problem loading a remote image into a UIImageVIew... It just doesn't show the image, may be i'm missing something...
