    I have a dataframe which has merged player and team data for soccer seasons So for a particular player in a specific season I have data like df <- data.frame(team=c(NA,"CRP",NA,"CRP","CRP",NA), player=c(NA,"Ed",NA,"Ed","Ed",NA), playerGame= c(NA,1,NA,2,3,NA), teamGame =c(1,2,3,4,5,6)) Where the NA's indicate that the player did not appear in that specific team game How would I most efficiently replace the team and player NA's with "CRP" and "Ed" respectively and have a plGame output of, in this instance, 0,1,1,2,3,3

Firstly the menu panel shows up, than i need to switch to the other panel if a specific button is pressed on the menu (the menu is hidden but the app returns to it after running is completed). && i need to resize the frame too if it's possible. can i do this somehow?

    I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

    I have a canvas element defined statically in the html with a width and height. If I attempt to use JavaScript to resize it dynamically (setting a new width and height - either on the attributes of the canvas or via the style properties) I get the following error in Firefox: uncaught exception: [Exception...   • Java- screen capture behind the application.

    Is there a way to capture the screen but without the app itself getting shown. I know how to minimize or make a frame invisible but this has to be done real fast cos it's going to happen alot in each second (at least once every second).     Run this: for i in range(1000000000): a = [] It looks like the list objects being created never get marked for garbage collection. From a memory profiler, it looks like the interpreter's stack frame is holding onto all the list objects, so GC can never do anything about it. Is this by design?

  • No image displayed in Fancybox

    I am having trouble getting fancybox to display its corresponding images on a website that I'm building http://www.nomadicdrift.com/test/kaniwa#events . It's a custom one page portfolio theme that I set up on the WordPress platform. If you follow the link to the events section you will see 1 figure item in a gallery like position. I have this image set up to work as a fancybox gallery, but when you click on it, it opens up the fancybox interface but does not place a image in the frame, even though it should. So this is the problem...the images do not show up in fancybox and instead I see just the frame. Here is the html that I'm displaying: <figure> <a class="fancybox" data-fancybox-type="Fashion Show de Paris, France" href="http://www.nomadicdrift.com/test/kaniwa/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/NM2.jpg"> <img class="attachment-evento wp-post-image" width="231" height="191" title="NM" alt="NM" src="http://www.nomadicdrift.com/test/kaniwa/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/NM2-231x191.jpg"> </a> <figcaption> <a class="fancybox" data-fancybox-type="Fashion Show de Paris, France" href="http://www.nomadicdrift.com/test/kaniwa/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/CEDESAN.jpg"> </a> <h4>Fashion Show de Paris, France</h4> </figcaption> </figure> I'm not going to bore you with the PHP that I used to get that output because I think the problem lies elsewhere. ***I have tried to set up a simple standard fancybox gallery on the site also, but it gives me thes same problem, leading me to believe that the problem is deeper than the html markup. I have also successfully used this same markup for a one thumbnail fancybox gallery on another site. I thought maybe it was due to some conflict in the .js files I'm using. I tried uninstalling all of my plugins/addons (which aren't too many) one by one and still had the same result. I have all of my personal javascript in the functions.js file, which is where I call the fancybox plugin using the standard $("a.fancybox").fancybox();. I have installed this plugin before on other sites and have searched extensively for an answer, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sean
