    Hi! I was wondering if it was possible to edit an xml on the server side from a web based flex application. When you use XML files in a Flex application and then compile it to upload it in the server, Flex Buidler generates a swf file with the xml data embedded.     I want to define a trigger in PostgreSQL to check that the inserted row, on a generic table, has the the property: "no other row exists with the same key in the same valid time" (the keys are sequenced keys). In fact, I has already implemented it. But since the trigger has to scan the entire table, now i'm wondering: is there a need for a table-level lock? Or this is managed someway by the PostgreSQL itself?

  • Where to put common setUp-code for differen testclasses?

    I have several different test classes that require that certain objects are created before those tests can be run. Now I'm wondering if I should put the object initialization code into a separate helper class or superclass. Doing so would surely reduce the amount of duplicate code in my test classes but it would also make them less readable. Is there a guideline or pattern how to deal with common setUp-code for unit tests?

    I was wondering if it's possible to have a java package setup using a different subversion repository than the rest. Ideally, I would probably go with a different library project, but in the case of BlackBerry, the 3rd party library linking does not work well, so I would like to just separate my UI package into a different repository than the rest so that I can control the UI better for different OS versions, but leave all the other packages the same. Is this possible?

    Hi everyone, I want to parse a text file, where I get numbers that are between parenthesis like this: 1 2 3 (4 - 7) 8 9 1 3 8 (7 - 8) 2 1 1 2 (8 - 10) 3 2 should return an array for each: array1: 4 7 8 array2: 7 8 10 I am thinking of using split for each line, like line.split("("), but that doesn't quite doing the trick..   • Paste Excel clip to body of an email through Python

    I am using win32com.client in Python to send an email. However I want the body of the email to be a table (HTML- formatted table), I can do it in an Excel first and then copy and paste (but how?), or directly edit the corresponding Pandas data frame. newMail.body = my_table which is a Pandas data frame didn't work. So I'm wondering if there is smarter ways for example, to combine Excel with Outlook apps within Python? Cheers,
